The Lodge Farmstay Fitzroy Falls

A 2 bedroom/1 bathroom self-contained air conditioned/heated, private lodge on a 70 acre cattle farm. Strict limit of 4 guests. There is only 1 guest lodge on the property. 1.5 hours drive south of Sydney. Large main room with King bed and ensuite. Bunkbed room and separate living/dining area with kitchen.

Huge entertaining deck with open wood fireplace, lounge seating, outdoor dining and breakfast kitchen bar.

The farm has cattle, pigs, sheep, horses, goats, miniature horses, turkeys, chickens, guinea fowl and ducks.

One farm tour is included with your stay, we can arrange this for a time that is convenient normally either 8am or 4pm on whichever day of your stay suits. The tour includes feeding and caring for all the animals. During the tour we feed the poultry, hand feed the sheep and goats, feed the pigs, walk and groom the horses and drive around the property in a 6 person buggy to see the cows. This takes over an hour. The animals are all in close proximity to the cabin so you are free to interact with them during your stay.

The lodge has a snowy mountain appearance with a new modern interior. The lodge has air conditioning/internal heating (fully insulated) and can't be seen from the main residence. It is very private and 300m from the road.

Bed linen and towels are provided. The lodge is professionally cleaned after each visit.

Guests have full access to the property including synthetic grass tennis court, (racquets & tennis balls provided) basket hoop and a kids trampoline, gazebo, BBQ and manicured gardens. A creek runs through the property.

The lodge has air conditioning and heating, gas oven/stove, microwave, BBQ, Aldi coffee machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Some basic pantry items are provided salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee otherwise all food is BYO. There are 2 TVs and a DVD player with some movies provided. No Wifi or Netflix. Telstra phone reception is fine, Vodafone and Optus can have patchy reception. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Laundry facilities can be provided on request for longer stays.

Just a few kms from Fitzroy Falls National Park, 20 minutes to Bowral, Kangaroo Valley, or 45 minutes to the south coast beaches. Fitzroy Falls is on the edge of the Southern Highlands so has the luxury of quick access to the Shoalhaven region. Easy scenic drives to Berry and Jervis Bay/Hyams Beach. The property borders National Park and is easily accessible via sealed road.

Guests enter via a beautiful tree lined driveway bordered by stud black post and rail fencing. The property has a tennis court, basketball ring, horse stables, trampoline, mini rugby/soccer field with posts and 3 acres of manicured gardens. We live in the main residence and are on hand to answer any questions. The lodge is very private and separate from the main residence.

There is a minimum 2 night stay.

No guests unless pre approved. Check in 1pm and check out 10am.
You have exclusive use of the property during your stay.

Our family had such an amazing experience at this farmstay. From the moment we entered the beautifully manicured grounds, to the warm and welcoming hosts and adorable family friendly animals. The morning farm tour was such a highlight to our weekend away and truly showed us the care they put into everything from the guests experience to the comfort of their animals. Well situated property, with welcoming, friendly and very helpful hosts. The farm tour was a real highlight for our kids, and they really enjoyed the freedom to get around and see the animals every day, too. Amazing little country getaway

My family of 4 stayed 3 nights at The Lodge.Fitzroy falls was an excellent location to base ourselves in the Southern Highlands. We were able to explore the surrounding areas and attractions with ease. The accommodation was accurate per listing. Amenities were clean, modern bathroom and kitchen with all the essential items.The farm tour with Ciara was certainly a highlight for my boys, who loved interacting each day with the friendly farm animals on the property and driving the buggy around the see the cattle. The trampoline, basketball/tennis court was also a bonus for the kids to burn off the extra energy.We absolutely loved our stay!

Great farmstay in good location

Lodge easy to find and in a good location between Bowral and Kangaroo Valley. Close to Fitzroy Falls. Ciara is an amazing host, so helpful and friendly, and gave us a wonderful farm tour where our 2 year old could feed and pat the animals. He wanted to visit the animals every morning and afternoon. There is also a trampoline, tennis court and basketball hoop. We were also able to get the fire going to toast some marshmallows.

The best farmhouse!

This is such a beautiful, huge and serene farmhouse thatā€™s well maintained and Ciara is very friendly and responsive. She looked after us very well. My kids enjoyed the animal encounters and were out all day running around the farm interacting with animals. This was a memorable stay and experience for our family. Thank you Ciara!

Hands on Farm Stay Experience

Great farm stay experience for kids and adults. Friendly owner Chris went above and beyond to teach the kids about farm life, the animals and got them really involved during farm tours. The farm is located very close to Fitzroy Falls and a short drive to town. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

We had our second trip to the farm stay. Toasted marshmallows by the fire, cheese and crackers while the kids got their energy out on the trampoline. Our kids couldnā€™t wait to see the animals again. We went to horse riding at Moss Vale Riding school, which we would recommend, if you have a spare hour. Ciara was an excellent host. See you next year!

Beautiful property amongst a gorgeous farm setting

We had a wonderful three nights here in Spring. The property is gorgeous, easy access to all the animals that you can visit throughout the day. We loved the tennis court, walking the paddocks and facilities of the cabin. Only downside is the bathroom is an ensuite so when used during the night it wakes you up as the light is blaring bright. The host Ciara is the kindest, friendliest and informative host you can ask for. So lovely with my daughter. We would highly recommend this property and the experience it allows you to have.
