Lucy and her family and dog were delightful guests. They communicated well, and left the cottage in very good condition after their stay. I would highly recommend them to future hosts.

We had a lovely time!Very comfortable cottage with a big shady back deck. Dogs enjoyed the wonderful yard! Bronwyn was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dog friendly beaches and places to see. Her dogs Millie and Bobbie were so friendly too!

Bronwyn is an amazing host. She is so generous with both her time & hospitality. The amenities, yard & accommodation made us & our two Golden Retrievers feel so welcome. Truely a dog friendly place to stay.

This place was ideal for our dog and truly the best pet-friendly stay we've had! Bronwyn, the owner, was exceptionally caring and attentive. The kitchen had the basics, but upgrading to better quality cookware would be a great addition for families who want to prepare meals regularly.

Finchley B&B

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and loved the place. We took our 2 greyhounds and cattle dog who enjoyed running around in the massive enclosed yard!! Definitely recommend for travellers with dogs!

Great place for relaxing. I suggest don’t bring dogs that are young or big dogs . More for little dogs as owners worry too much . Otherwise a beautiful spot . We did not realise at time of booking owners are attached to you and constantly there . Beautiful spot . Beautiful home .

Thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy, Allyson. I'm sorry my concern for Turbo's wellbeing when you were out was an issue for you. I have had hundreds of large and small, old and young, dogs stay over our 11 years in operation, and very few have I had to be concerned about.

Tranquil and welcoming

An excellent stay with our dog who was welcome inside and had his own safe yard. Such generous provision of pantry items and breakfast supplies and the cottage was so very clean. Only a 20 minute drive to the beaches.

Fantastic

The accommodation was excellent, so clean ! The farm is so pretty and our dog loved it. The host went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. Excellent experience !

Peaceful & perfect

Great accommodation for couples or family. Everything you need. Comfy beds, electric blankets, beautiful position, coffee on the veranda in the morning sun. Bronwyn is the perfect host.

Comfortable and tranquil

Wonderful stay with 3 dogs. Bronwyn was very communicative and most welcoming. The dogs were very well catered for, and the cottage was extremely well equipped. The breakfast supplies were wonderful and very much appreciated.

A very peaceful place with an over abundance of goodies in the fridge and pantry. Very gracious host

This was a most enjoyable stay for the human as well as the canine guests. Our needs were more than met with a large range of goodies in the pantry and the fridge. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent with a great verandah with good views. Spacious and clean and very private.

Absolutely THE BEST!

It’s like going home to visit your Mum! Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break is right here! Bronwyn is so Welcoming, it is such a peaceful & comfortable home away from home. A tranquil week over Christmas 2022 was spent here.

Secluded. The bed was comfy. Nothing was lacking. Everything worked as it should. Great three-meter-wide shady verandah. Could look at the view all day. Great complimentary breakfast ingredients. A fastidious and obliging host. Thank you, Bronwyn. John, Connie, Michelle, Bailey & Poppy.

Bliss at Finchley B&B

A superb quiet location plenty of room for our dear small dog, Foxy could run free in safety The property has a 1 acre bushscape with high fencing. The bird life is spectacular and the two bedroom cottage was spotless with an abundance of towels sheets toiletries and amazingly stocked pantry including fresh often local produce. As well as all mid cons great library and DVD collection Hostess Bronwyn Reid and husband Geoff showed us great generosity and their friendly chatty style allowed us to become part of their life. They willingly shared their knowledge of coastal and country dog friendly walks and beaches. In addition they recommended local cadets and restaurants We had a wonderful holiday Thank you

An absolute delight!

My partner and I came with our Italian greyhound and I cannot recommend the property enough! We had a great stay and thanks to Bronwyn’s hospitality, our Italian greyhound was made to feel like an equal guest. The property had a huge space for our dog to run for hours as the sun set with the smell of the fire. The accomodation was incredibly cosy and just what we needed to come home to after a day of exploring the South Coast. Bronwyn gave us a fully stocked cupboard and provided all the essentials and was extremely thoughtful for any pets who stay. There’s plenty of info in the cottage to inspire you to explore all that the South Coast has to offer which I loved. Bronwyn was also great at communicating before and during the stay. Thanks so much Bronwyn and we hope to stay again in future so Basil can reunite with your three gorgeous Cavaliers!

Great Experience

Amazing location

We wanted a quite place close to beach's and town's and that's what we got . What we didn't expect was such a friendly host with property that's perfect for traveling with dogs.

Perfection for people and pooches

Bronwyn made all of us feel at home. It was one of the most comfortable and relaxing holidays, and our first as a family. Nothing was too much trouble, and the care and concern for the welfare of our girls was five star plus.

It was a pleasure to see Erin, Matt and the family enjoy their stay at Finchley B and B. This was a long awaited visit, being postponed from a year ago due to the bushfires in the region this time last year. so I was glad that they all seemed to enjoy their time with us and made the most of what was on offer.

Relaxing stay

The stay was a real relaxing experience. The place is the best equipped I have every stayed in. Anything you can think of is available. Plenty of breakfast options. Our dog was very happy as he had plenty of space to run around but still safe as it is fully fenced off area. Plenty of birds for him to chase. The host are very friendly and informative. A chat in the morning will help you plan the day as she gives you helpful hints for places to visit and see. All in all, a very highly recommended place to stay.

(Note: this stay was postponed twice from December 2019 due firstly to bushfires and then later on, the Covid19 restrictions, and these guests finally managed to use their booking in November 2020)... Puneet, Yasmeen and their little dog, Rocco, were absolutely delightful guests, who showed great respect for their environment and the amenities available to them. They communicated well and left the cottage very clean. They are definitely welcome back any time, and I highly recommend them to future hosts.
