Welcome to 'Castia.'

This wonderful cottage is centrally located in the heart of the pristine, sought after seaside village of Currarong. Once at Castia there is no need to use your car. Castia is located within a 1 minute walk to the general store, and Zac’s dine in and takeaway. Castia is just a 2 minute walk to Warrain beach or a 5 minute walk to the idealic rock pools and Bosom beach.

Castia is a beautiful residence is set back from the street behind a beautiful garden. When you arrive at Castia you’ll feel completely relaxed as you walk through the tranquil gardens.

Currarong offers beautiful calm beaches, fishing, bushwalking, surfing, swimming, stand up paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, skate park and tennis court hire and local playgrounds. Visitors enjoy exploring Point Perpendicular lighthouse and Honeymoon Bay. Another popular activity is taking the Coomies bushwalk to the amazing gosangs tunnel, where whales and dolphins can often be spotted.

Currarong has a bowling club that regularly has special events including kids discos. Located on the premises is a Chinese restaurant that offers modern Australian meals.

Currarong is the ideal family friendly holiday location and has something to offer every member of the family.

Castia Beach House Review

We stayed here because the caravan park was closed due to the bushfires. It is a beautiful house close to the shops and beaches. Plenty of rooms with nice furnishing and activities. The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to extend our stay twice due to our circumstances.

Lovely Summer house in beautiful Currarong.

Sweet, airy house with a nice spacious living area and fabulous covered deck where we lived for most of the time we spent at home. The beds were comfy and quality bedding & towels were supplied. Good water pressure and lovely outdoor shower for 'after beach' rinsing. Unfortunately one bathroom proved a little tricky for the 5 of us. The kitchen was well equipped with plates/bowls/cutlery but no coffee machine was supplied. A nespresso coffee machine would have been appreciated. The lights over the oven were broken which made cooking at night difficult and we were only left 1 garbage bag. Mosquito coils would have been a valuable addition to the supplies. I understand NBN is now available in Currarong and having wifi would have made it a perfect holiday as we all had to work a bit during the day and the kids would have liked access to movies at night.

Lovely House

We stayed in early January 2022. Kitchen was really well set up, plenty of glassware and crockery, pans, and excellent sharp knives. This made cooking the lovely seafood much easier! Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning would be icing on the cake, however, everything was easy to use and in great condition. We would stay there again. Excellent location as well.

Great little gem!!

Great weekend staying here...house is as described and was so easy. Perfect location and was great to walk 2 mins for a good coffee and beautiful sunsets on the beach. Thank you for making the effort into making the house cousy with modern inclusions.

Lovely stay in currarong

Excellent family getaway

An excellent family get away. The house is so well kitted out with everything you need. Great bedrooms, kitchen, bbq and the outside shower was a huge hit with our kids! We will definitely be back!

Lovely Location

We had a lovely time at Colleen’s property. It is super private, close to some lovely walking trails and fishing spots. You have everything you need right at your doorstep with the beach and local cafe. Would definitley love to come back!

Cosy, Clean Beach House

A great place to stay in Currarong, right by the beach and lagoon. Perfect location for bush walks or exploring the coastline. The kitchen was open planned and had everything we needed, whilst the bedrooms were spacious, and the loft was great for the kids. Will return absolutely. Thanks for having us.

Loved this house very neat and tidy Plenty of beds and close to shop and beach, shame there is only 1 bathroom The only disappointment went to have a barbecue and there was no gas.

Calm and relaxing stay

We had a lovely stay at Castia Beach House. It is perfectly located, very close to the beach and the village shop. We visited Hyams Beach (we actually prefer Currarong!) and Honeymoon Bay which is definitely worth seeking out. The beach house was perfect for our group, including our 1-year old daughter. Beach house heaven

Castia has it all, great position, street appeal, style, privacy and all the modern comforts. A short walk from beaches, cafe, shop and bush walks yet quiet and private. Lots of room for everyone to have their own space and then come together for meals and conversation. Blissfully no wifi so we all talked and used our brains! Lovely cross breezes cooled us off and comfy beds rested our beach bodies. Make sure you are all good friends as there is only one bathroom but otherwise perfect.

The house is ideal for 6, as there is only 1 toilet. I would suggest to add bedside lamps to both sides of the beds with working globes beyond that the house is lovely and we definitely will be back!

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Tucked away we felt like we were in a private Oasis yet so close to everything with the beach, shops and parks a 1 min walk out the front! Comfortable, clean and well equip with everything we needed for a relaxed weekend away!

Our Third Trip, Perfect Very Time

We always enjoy coming to Currarong and stay at Casita every time. Location is unbeatable and the surrounding areas are beautiful. We have noticed upgrades made to the property every time we come back. Clean and fresh its always relaxing knowing we have everything we need. Owners are great to deal with and very responsive. We recommend Castia as a great place to stay.

Great location. Shabby and dated.

The location did not disappoint. Decor, cleanliness, size of the rooms were not what we expected. The upstairs was dusty and had dead insects on the floor. Found hair in bedsheets in one of the beds downstairs.

We are disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your stay, and that you did not reach out to us during your stay to enable us to make any improvements for you. For reference however we employ a professional cleaner who does a thorough clean of our property between guests. We use high quality Sheridan linens that are freshly laundered offsite between guests. If guest experience any issues during their stay we provide contact details so we can rectify any issues promptly.

Amazing family getaway

It was great being so close to all the treasures Currarong has to offer The week was an experience that will last in my memories for years to come The barbecue and deck area overlooking the cool gardens was the perfect place to relax and reflect on my day of coastal walks and different beaches to go swimming The house was comfortable and clean as well as having all the modern conveniences and everything else you would need for a stress free stay There is a convenience store, restaurant and take away that has great coffee next to the beach just a 2 minute walk from the house I am definitely going to come back and stay again and would highly recommend it to anybody

Family friendly - Beautiful beach house!

We were so lucky to spend the weekend in this gorgeous beach house. The kids loved exploring the garden, and we enjoyed relaxing on the front deck. The beach and parks were so close, it was so easy to keep everyone entertained. The house was gorgeous, spacious and beautifully presented. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent Property!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castia. The House is beautiful and in an absolutely perfect location! Just seconds to the beaches and shops. The house is very clean, the bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds and beautiful linen that appeared new. My favorite room was the little reading nook. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck and relaxing at the end of the day. Overall a fantastic stay! Looking forward to staying here again and highly recommend this property.
