Beautiful Cabin w/ spa. 20 min. From downtown Chattanooga!

Convenient to everything.... but a million miles away. Sparrows nest is located just 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga! This 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin is located next to Prentice Cooper State Forest near Signal Mountain and The Tennessee River.

Completed at the close of the summer of 2016, this cabin is complete with a full kitchen, living room, spacious bathroom, a queen bedroom and children's room with two twin beds. It also boast a private patio w/ hot tub, fire pit and outdoor eating for 4-6 located behind the cabin. This cabin backs up to Prentice Cooper WMA.
A spacious front porch provides the perfect spot for watching the morning mist descend upon the valley with a fresh cup of coffee in hand. Nicely appointed rooms, high ceilings and exposed beam work create a rustic retreat you will not want to leave! This cabin sleeps two adults and two children very comfortable. There is additional sleeping to accommodate guest (2) on the fold out sofa in the living room for up to 6 guest total.

WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS AT THIS LISTING under any circumstances. This includes service dogs.

Rates are based on an occupancy of 4 persons. Additional charge of $15 per additional guest per night apply.

No Smoking, Vaping or illicit drug use, some of these items leave smells that are near impossible to remove. Your deposit will be withheld if use is detected.

We have been blessed to deal with wonderful guest over the past 10 years.

Unfortunately we have dealt with a few entitled and demanding guest over the course of time as well.

We thought it would be best to communicate this in advance of your stay. We are more than happy to host you and as always will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. Just read our reviews! However if you are the type that cannot be satisfied, then we simply ask that you consider renting elsewhere. We’re not your average push overs :-)

Nice getaway

Ok for the rate. Could use some attention to detail cleaning. Vents in the bathroom needed a good cleaning and it could use a better mirror. The kitchen sink faucet drip on the hot side. the air filter needs to be changed. My husband is a HVAC technician so that one of the 1st things we noticed because of his occupation. Also the 1 of the bulb in the fan upstairs was broken and hanging and several plug outlet didn't work.

Amazing location

It was an amazing quaint cabin. Hot tub was awesome, especially since we were there during arctic storm. Amazing location and scenery.

Perfect Getaway to Reconnect

We loved spending time relaxing and reconnecting in this adorable cabin. Secluded enough to feel like you are on your own but still close to amazing restaurants.

Rest and Peace

My wife and i wanted to get away for our 16th Anniversary. This was the perfect spot! Only a 15 minute drive to town and yet peaceful and cool up on the mountain. We spent hours talking, laughing, and enjoying coffee on the front porch.

Sister Trip

The cabin was just like the pictures. Very clean and well furnished. I gave it 4 stars because it needs a new dishwasher. The one in there does not clean and food was in the bottom making it smell like rotten broccolli. Did not have a dish rag or dish drainer. Not a huge deal as we were not strangers to doing dishes by hand. The hit tub was very enjoyable as well as the fire pit. I would recommend this property for friends or a family.

Great stay!

Super cute cabin in a great location. Close to trails and outdoor fun while giving easy access to Chattanooga. Everything was as described and pictured. If we’re in the area again we will def stay here again.

Wonderful Memories

Our stay at Sparrow's Nest was cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the cabin and the adventurous things to do in Chattanooga. The hot tub was a plus after a long day of exploring the city. My only regret is that we forgot to sign the guest book! Nevertheless, it's a memory that we won't forget and my husband wants to visit again! Thanks so much for such a comfortable stay!

Beautiful Cabin!

We had a wonderful time at Sparrows Nest! The views were amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill & s’mores by the fire. The cabin was cozy & very clean. It was exactly what we were looking for! It’s also very close to hiking trails & Rock City at Lookout Mountain. Makes for a perfect family vacation! Thank you again

Excellent place to stay and relax. A bit disappointed that there was no local tv option, but weather apps on the phone solved that with no problems. Our second stay here, and definitely would recommend.

Couple get away!

We really enjoyed our stay, cute and cozy spot! Maintenance/cleaning dropped in a couple times without notice so we were always unsure of what to expect from a privacy standpoint but other than that- 10/10.

Wonderful getaway, in spite of a few hiccups

This property was beautiful! My wife and I had such a lovely time. So close to Chattanooga and also to hikes made it perfect for a short getaway! Only a few drawbacks: the property was not very well marked. We had to drive by several times before we just pulled in, hoping this was the right place. A simple sign would be great! Also, the owner only provided one roll of toilet paper. After scouring the agreement, I located the sentence in which this was warned of, but still... One roll?? Overall though, these two bummers could not overshadow the fact that the cabin was STUNNING and the location was even better. Love it and highly recommend.

Little piece of heaven

Had an amazing stay at Sparrow’s Nest this past week. Tony and Susan were wonderful hosts, patient to answer all of my questions even prior to booking. Received a detailed pre arrival message including directions, check in and check out times/instructions and the door code along with their personal phone numbers in case we need to get a hold of them. Those detailed directions came so handy getting to the cabin because we did not get lost! We didn’t need to reach out to them during our stay because everything was simply perfect but I felt like if we needed to they are just a phone call away. The cabin sits on a beautiful property pretty high up the mountain. The drive up and down the mountain was one of my favorite part of the stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated, looks just as charming as on the pictures! We had plenty of room for the 3 of us (2 adults and a child). The stools in the kitchen are pretty cool looking and comfortable as well. The hot tub was such a nice added bonus, really enjoyed soaking in it during sunrise. We visited different Chattanooga attractions each day and the drive was pretty convenient. Wish we could have spent more time, so we’re looking forward to coming back soon! Relax and Refresh

If your looking for a place to relax and refresh this is your place. My husband and I stayed at the Sparrows Nest for an Anniversary get away and we’re not disappointed. This little retreat sets far enough off the road that you feel secluded and have privacy. The cabin is tastefully decorated and very clean. The front porch is so inviting. Pictures listed are a true representation of what you will find waiting for you when you arrive. If your looking for a little adventure, Chattanooga is a quick 25 minute trip down the mountain. Communication with Susan, the owner, was great and she was always quick to get back with us. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and look forward to coming back and staying again.
