Beautiful home if you are wanting somewhere safe, clean and located in the heart of Orange. The entire process from start to finish was effortless, the instructions given were clear, and easy to follow. Great experience will be using this home in future any time we return.

A comfortable and Upmarket place to Stay …..My friend and I stayed at the property in separate rooms during the Saturday and Sunday coinciding with Bathurst 1000. We were late to book accommodation as the decision to attend Bathurst was last minute. I found this property was very reasonably priced compared to what properties were remaining in Bathurst. It is a 45 minute drive from Bathurst. The property will accommodate 6 people ( 3 couples) easily. My only observation / consideration is if the single bathroom and juggling it between 6 people will work.It has an external toilet with laundry which was useful .it wThe property was exceptionally clean, very well presented and I found my bed extremely comfortable. It’s about a 700 metre walk to the main strip. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. On street parking is available. My only negative feedback associated with the booking had nothing to do with the property. It was with the Stayz app and trying to recover communications with the owner. Guidance given via Stayz such as receiving details how to enter the property and the key code did not arrive the day prior as indicated in the Stayz App. The code provided to complete personal details through Stayz did not work. The QR code on the refrigerator regarding what bins had to be taken out also did not work. The fan in the first bedroom was intermittent. Thanks - love your property and will hopefully return in 2027. Love what Orange offered us .

All aspects of house were easy to use; excellent house facilities; lovely part of town close to urban interests. Plastic plants could do with a dust & wash, especially the large one in living area.Have already referred a matter of ants in the kitchen to house manager.

Edward St

Great stay. Good accomodation, close to town and easy walk. Lights need fixing in kitchen. Fridge door getting jammed. Freezer leaking as full of ice at the bottom. thanks for the opportunity for feedback.

Not a Good Check-in with Mix up with same codes used for multiple houses

Upon Checking in, we found there was another person in the house we were staying in. This person arrived 15min before we did and used the same code we had to access the key for the property. This person’s house was actually 2 doors down, he made an innocent mistake and entered the wrong house. He packed his things and moved to his house, no harm done we were ok with this innocent mistake. I strongly suggest to the owner to not use the same access code for all his properties to avoid this mistake in future. I did text the owner this, however there was no reply. Overall, the house had a very rustic charm, however could do with some renos, a good paint (the paint was peeling off the walls), fix up the timber flooring as this is dangerous with split timber and holes in the floor. The bathroom tiles move and there was a pile of paint dust and peeling crumbs lying on the floor in the alcove. For the price we paid I’m not happy with this.

Brief stay in Orange

Everything was fine except the TV controllers are not working. One does not transmit a signal at all. The controller that sends a signal does not change the channel nor the volume.

Met our needs

Stayed during a very hot weekend. Was lovely that when we arrived the air con was on and the living area was cool. Handy location. Happy to stay here again next time we are in Orange.

Good location, property needs work.

The property is in a good location but needs work - leaky taps, bathroom needs redoing, paint peeling off walls. It was fine for one night but wouldn't recommend it for a holiday.

Lovely home in convenient location

This is an old house with with some renovations done. As a result of its age some floor boards were broken and taps were working but has seen better days. Its a rustic home that may not suite everyones taste. We enjoyed our stay as we love homes with character.

Cute little townhouse near the centre of Orange

Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay at this property for a long-weekend getaway. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated throughout. Some items need to be sorted out - we had to buy a frypan as there was none, no peeler, needs more water and wine glasses, blinds were broken in some rooms and the second bathroom, bird poo all over the outdoor table and chairs, dust in the smaller bedrooms, couple more tea towels rather than just one. Despite this, would stay again as it's a cute little townhouse that suited our needs and was an easy walking distance into the centre of Orange.

We stayed in this property for around 3days for a netball tournament. Very tidy and easy however the dryer didn't really work and one of the seating decorations in the lounge was falling apart and just leaving a mess..overall we enjoyed our stay and the house was very nice

A beautiful place in a great location

We had an awesome time and really loved the design and decor of the house. Everything was provided, the beds were super comfy, it was just so cozy, relaxing and warm. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely love to stay there again

Quiet and Comfortable house but lacks little bit of things like cutleries (as they had only 2 saucepans) for 6 people stay. Internet is weak in the lounge room. Blinds were broken and dusty on the second bedroom...

Missing a few touches to rate it more

Great weekend in Orange for our intended purpose. Just Wish we’d looked and booked no. 155 & not 157. However, A few things do need attention for 5star rating: the 2nd & 3 room were dusty and blinds need over due a replacement. The sunroom isn’t suitable to sleep in, in my opinion , as it’s drafty from outside door and cold stone floor (great if it’s 40c outside). Needs more crockery and glasses - 3 wine glasses for a house that can sleep and 3 mugs for a house that sleeps 7 doesn’t make sense. The garden was overgrown, so unappealing to sit outside. Next door far superior. Location quiet and convenient for a walk to town. Would consider booking the Edward Group again but probably one of the other houses.

lovely home... i would say in summer it would get hot and could be uncomfortable in the bedrooms... the lounge room has air con. i would definitely stay again.

Lovely Cottage
