Beautifully Renovated Bungalow in a GREAT DENVER LOCATION

Welcome to our “guest house” located in the heart of the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver!

The rental unit is a charming two bedroom one bathroom space. The property consists of a lower and upper unit of a brick home home built in the 1940s and completely renovated more recently, This listing is for the upper level unit, with the lower level occupied full time by the owner. The rental has it's own access with the only jointly accessed space being the back yard and laundry room - located in the converted garage.

The unit has a jetted tub in the black and white tiled bathroom. The living / dining area has a 40 inch flat screen TV with Xfinity cable and very fast wifi internet access. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, nightstands and dresser as well as a closet for storing all of your things. The kitchen with its granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils for all you cooking needs. It is well set up for two couples or a small family to thoroughly enjoy your stay in Denver.

This area has become the one of the sought after locations to live in Denver. Located on a quite residential street just four blocks from the 330 acre Denver City Park which includes: The Denver Museum of Nature and Science, The Denver Zoo, and City Park Golf Course. We are just two blocks from Colorado Blvd, one of Denver's main north/south arteries, and less than two miles from Interstate 70, with the Colorado and 40th light rail station just six minutes away. Access is easy to all parts of Downtown Denver as well as Denver International Airport.

The variety and quality of food available in Denver is truly wonderful, and new eateries are opening at an amazing pace. We are just fourteen blocks north of Colfax Avenue which offers many many unique food and entertainment venues as well a easy access to the convention center and city center museums and attractions. Just a few examples of places you may want to visit are: the newly developed Shops at Northfield (12 minutes), The Denver Art Museum (14 minutes), Coors Field, home of the Rockies (11 minutes), or Mile High Stadium, home of the Broncos (13 minutes). If it sounds like we are in the middle of what’s happening, you are absolutely correct . . . location, location, location.

Our family has owned vacation rentals for over a dozen years and we have stayed in many, many short and long term rentals on vacation and on business, so we have tried very hard to make this a great place to stay while you enjoy Denver and all that this area has to offer. A perfect location for our stay!

This home was ideal, as we were in Denver to help watch our grandkids for part of the summer. The home was great for the kids when they joined us just during the day, and the location worked so well for us! We hope to stay here again!

Wonderful retreat

My wife and I had an extended stay here and thought it was marvelous. The host is very attentive to any needs we had. Also the location is ideal for all of the Denver attractions and the neighborhood is wonderful for walking.

Cozy bungalow in the heart of town

We had an extended stay (2 months) and enjoyed this place very much. The house is well equipped with several extras (gas grill, washer/dryer). Its location is great, just a few blocks from City Park. The owner is very responsive.

Beautiful Area and Great Space!

Fantastic time here. Stayed for a whole month and was able to really enjoy the space but also it is in a beautiful neighborhood. There are little restaurants as well as shops nearby for people that enjoy that. Also, right next to one of the largest parks in Denver with a museum and the Denver zoo! Will definitely be using this property again when I go back!

Great for a month stay

We were remodeling and needed somewhere to stay for a month while we finished that process. This property was great. It was cozy and comfortable and excellent for what we needed. I do think the property is tight for 4 adults, it would be better for a family with a child. The floors could use some work as they creak everywhere and the TV has a DVD player and some good movies but no way to connect the player to the TV. Very nice property with a big back yard and in a wonderful neighborhood.

Great Park Hill Bungalow

This place was exactly as advertised. The property itself was very homey and cozy. The neighborhood is old school America - sidewalks, trees, porches, dogs, bikes, etc. But only two blocks from Colorado Blvd, which is a double-edged sword. It’s a major N/S artery, so easy access to other nearby retail and restaurants, but also has heavy traffic most of the day. Highlight: discovered Cherry Tomato Italian restaurant first night, which I walked to because it was three blocks south and four blocks east. Great food and al fresco seating.

Park Hill Stay

During my stay, I enjoyed the location, and homey atmosphere. The kitchen had a variety of extra items, like spices, sugar, and storage bags. I enjoyed the jet style bath to relax and the additional wall bar was also helpful at times. Because of it's excellent location, getting to a variety of places in the Denver area was easy! The neighborhood was peaceful and walkable. When I did have a few issues, the owner was responsive. The only suggestions that I have are to bring your own corkscrew for wine that has a cork, and kleenex!

Cute month stay

The house is very cute and pictures are accurate. It worked great for our family of 3. The neighborhood is amazing, we loved the location! Any questions we had were handled in a timely manner and would definitely stay here again.

Great spot in Park Hill

This rental was a great spot for me, my family, and our pup for a month. The location in Park Hill was fantastic, very walkable and we really enjoyed the neighborhood. Great to have a backyard for the pup, but note that you have to go out the front door and walk around to get there. The person living downstairs was very quiet and didn't disturb us at all. Ample street parking. Well equipped kitchen. The space was a bit dusty but otherwise well prepped for us. This worked very well for us and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Cozy & quiet

This was a great house with beautiful detailing in a historic & friendly neighborhood. So convenient to downtown, City Park, Stanley Marketplace, Cherry Creek I-70 & I25. Fully equipped with essentials but also non-essentials like lots of books and even a take one/leave one library out front. Permanent resident in basement was so quiet never even knew he was there and was so nice to shovel snow Twice!! Definitely recommend.

Nice quite neighborhood just off Colorado blvd. There is a dog on site, but probably the most quite dog ever. Great stay!

Nice house in pretty neighborhood

This little house has a wonderful kitchen that was well stocked with cooking equipment, and backyard was pretty and allowed my dog some needed outdoor exercise.

Great Location and Cozy Place

This small Denver bungalow is ideally situated in the City -- nearby to parks and easy access to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. We were able to situate ourselves there most comfortably for an extended stay while waiting for a new home build. The bungalow has a small but very efficient kitchen with all top of the line appliances; well furnished with kitchen utensils. Two bedrooms are on the back side of house of quiet and peaceful. Everything was just fine for what the two of us needed for several months. Laundry is in separate detached former garage but just fine in all regards.

Perfect for retired couple, travelling workers, while seeking permanent lodging, etc.

GREAT older neighborhood (Park Hill … very historic, near major parks, convenient transportation routes, grocery shopping, libraries, rec centers, and MUCH more. Old homes that have been nicely renovated or reconstructed, majorly beautiful old trees, community of retires and younger couples with children. Owner was very quick to get anything attended to that needed. Their son lives in the basement, with Meese (a large, beautiful, very well mannered dog). They never bother you … unless you wish to speak with the son … or pet Meese!

Great space in a great place!

The bungalow was adorable, comfortable, well equipped and in a great area. Perfect location for getting around Denver and a lovely neighborhood/people to walk my dog through daily. Parking always plentiful in front and the whole area was very quiet. The guy who lives downstairs (whom I barely ever heard) is a wonderfully nice and friendly person.

Loved living here

Stayed here with my roommate for a 3 month travel nurse job. We loved the place. Has everything you need for a long term stay and was very cozy and cute. The beds are very comfortable! The kitchen is super cute and well stocked. The fenced in backyard was very nice to have for our pups. The floors were a little creaky (for night shifters with roommates, lol) but the street was very quiet. Parking was always easy to find, just don't forget sweet sweeping days.... which one of us forgot monthly, lol. Location is perfect, only a 10-15 dollar uber ride from downtown and a quick drive to Aurora where we worked. Landlord always responded quickly if we had any concerns. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'd have stayed longer but roommate was moving cities and I needed a 1 bedroom place. Thanks!

Great spot to stay in Denver for a month

This is a great little place to stay in Denver. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time with family and friends in the evenings and working from the house during the day. Very well set up and the beds were very comfortable. Bob was great to work with!

LOVED my stay!

I stayed at this property for 3 months while working as a travel nurse in the area. The house was beautifully furnished and perfect for my stay. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, parking was always available right in front of the house. It was reasonably close to everywhere and with uber or a car it is easy to get downtown and located in a great place for access to freeways. The owner was attentive and responsive and I had no issues at all during my entire stay. The downstairs neighbor was kind, courteous, and quiet and his dog is super cute and friendly! I would highly recommend to any visitor!

Great Rental In Park Hill

Very comfortable 2-bedroom place in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. Close to transportation. Close to shopping. Walkable neighborhood. Well equipped kitchen and dining can be expanded easily to 6. Only difficulty was managing the thermostat - not intuitive!

Nice Property, Well Located

The property was tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. Convenient to City Park and Cherry Creek the house is well located. Parking was plentiful on the street. Although there is no direct access from the house to the rear yard, it's completely fenced and worked well for our dog.
