THE VILLA IS SET AT 5,5 KM FROM CEFALU'. WE GAVE AT THE WEBSITE EXACT GOOGLE LOCATION. WE SIGNALLED THEM THAT INFORMATION ABOUT DISTANCE FROM CEFALU IS UNCORRECT. THE POSITION IN MAP IS CORRECT BUT WE ARE NOT AT 2,5 KM FROM CEFAL BUT AT 5,5KM. 10 MINUTES DRIVINF
In Sicily Villa Rose is set at less than 10 minutes away from Cefalù (6 km) and its magnificent beaches and architectural beauties. Nestled on the side of a hill 250 meters above sea level, the estate is surrounded by old-growth Oak woods, citrus and olive groves. Apart from having one of the swimming pool (exclusive use) with one of the most beautiful sight of the whole Sicily with view on Tyrrhenian Sea and on Rocca of Cefalù is marked for its elegance. The villa has room for maximum 13 people : 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms. We have a very large suite (52 squared meters)with possibility of extra bed, 3 doubles and 1 triple bedroom. In 2 of the double is possible to insert an extra bed. The villa has a very large living room with kitchen corner and fire place. The villa has large external facilities: outside kitchen with a fabulous marble table where to eat outside and with barbecue corner and oven where to cook pizza.
Living room.
The spacious living room with stone made walls and cotto made pavements is the heart of the villa and it can be ideally divided in four areas. A kitchen space full furnished where the black of Carrara marble merges harmonically with pastel colours of antique Sicilian majolica. A dining room furnished with a black marble table with electrical barbecue where to have meals comfortably. The central area of the living room is marked by the huge fireplace and by the huge table made of chestnut. Finally, the living room has a TV (PLASMA 50 inc) corner with dvd where to relax in two spacious sofas.

The villa is surrounded by olive Saracen, orange, lemon, almond, carob trees and it enjoys breathtaking views.

It was an amazing stay with my group of friends! Three beautiful houses with great views. The pools are a welcome plus for dealing with the hot temperatures and we used the outside kitchen with the pizza oven nearly every day. With such a relaxed place it was a vacation to remember!

The view is just as it was showed in the pictures

The interior of the villa is rustic with a very welcoming wood burning fireplace which was tended by the caretaker morning and night. There were two fully equipped kitchens, one inside and one outside. There were plenty of dishes and utensils for large group of people. The ground is lovely and large and in spite of the location of the property which is out of the beaten track we felt very safe. Giovanni, the owner lives in a separate villa on the ground and is always available for any advice or request. If I have a chance to go back to Cefalu I would surely contact Giovanni for the rental of his villa.

This villa was really comfortable for our family. It does need a little updating but the view alone is worth it. The outside is magnificent with a huge pool overlooking the gorgeous water and all of Cefalu. The owner Giovanni was always on call if you needed anything and was very accommodating. My only suggestion is that when you rent a car that it be a smaller one due to the winding curves and smaller alleys to get up to the villa. We were originally going to rent a big van for the whole family, but that would have not worked out at all. Lastly, for the price of the villa , it's worth every penny. I would highly recommend it if you want to be about 20 minutes from all the attractions at beach and all the beautiful places to visit in Cefalu and also the supermarket.

Die Außenküche ist wahrer Traum, gut ausgestattet, perfekt zum Sitzen und der Pizzaofen ist das Highlight.Das Haus liegt auf rund 500m Höhe - bestimmt ideal im Juli und August. Anfang Oktober war es Abends dann doch frisch und der Pool insgesamt zu kalt um wirklich Spass zu machen.Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war großartig. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die Anfahrt: mit einem Golf GTI kommt man sicherlich nicht zum Haus. Unser Ford Gran Tourneo war im Hinblick auf die Breite schon sehr nah am Maximum. Ein breiteres SUV dürfte zumindest ein Einklappen der Spiegel erfordern. Der Strand und die Stadt Cefalu sind sehr schön (wenn auch sehr touristisch), das Hinterland toll für Tagesausflüge. Wir haben uns mit 8 Erwachsenen wohlgefühlt, es hätten je nach Alter sicherlich auch noch drei oder mehr Kinder mit in das Haus gepasst. Das Gelände ist nicht wirklich eingezäunt, unser Hund hat den Auslauf genossen!Grazie, Giovanni!

Giovnni's house is located in a very special spot. The view is breathtaking, and all the amenities are ideal for a vacation. The outdoor kitchen, with its brick pizza oven and large brick grill, as well as the large stone table overlooking the flowers, palm trees, and sea, are particularly well-suited for enjoying the culinary delights of Italian cuisine.The house itself, with its five bedrooms and three bathrooms, is ideal for larger families, and the large pool also offers all the amenities you could need in these temperatures. Some of the technical equipment could use some renovation and maintenance, and it would be helpful if vacationers from other European countries could occasionally watch their own programs on the giant TV. The access to the house is challenging and demanding. However, the house is also very secluded at the end of the road.Overall, a "very special property" where you can truly relax. The support from the house owner, Giovanni, is comprehensive, very friendly, and very helpful with any problems that may arise. Overall conclusion: highly recommended!

Beautiful place, view and perfect host

Thank you Giovanni for the one week stay at your place! Perfect communication! We were 7 People (4 adults, 2 kids and one baby). There was more than enough space. The outside kitchen and the pizza oven worked out perfectly. In the afternoons Giovanni heated on the fireplaces in the living room and the upstairs bedroom. There were also mobile electric heaters in the other bedrooms. Thank you for being a perfect host! Best regards! Michael with family and friends

Lovely

We stayed 9 people in the villa and enjoyed it very much. Giovanni was very helpful and the kindest man to help us in every way he could. Fantastic view and the outdoor kitchen amazing. We would very much like to return... If you visit Sicily don't miss out on Castelbuono and Taormina! Cefalu was cosy and nice! Linda

Fantastisk villa

Det går inte i ord att beskriva hur fantastiskt detta stället är. Vi var 27 personer i vårt sällskap och det fanns gott om plats för oss alla. Bra sovrum. Det största helt fantastiskt. Tillräckligt med badrum. Bäst av allt var trots allt det största utomhusköket (det finns sammanlagt 3st). Vedeldad ugn och naturligtvis en vanlig ugn och spis, diskmaskin. Bäst av allt en fantastisk utsikt. Stora bord och sittmöjligheter så att vi alla kunde sitta ner och äta tillsammans. Pingisbord som användes flitigt. 3 pooler. Ja här fanns allt vi behövde. Inga bilder kan ge en rättvis bild av detta fantastiska ställe. Vi visste det skulle bli bra men det överträffade alla förväntningar. Alla vill komma tillbaka. Värden Giovanni var väldigt hjälpsam och vänlig. Detta var helt enkelt en oförglömlig semester.

Wunderschöne Villa mit herrlichem Ausblick

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten von dort schöne Ausflüge machen. Es war schön, abends nach Hause zu kommen und der Kamin war angemacht. Vielen Dank an die "guten Geister". Leider war der Pool erst am letzten Tag zu benutzen, weil Starkregen ihn vorher verunreinigt hatte. Dass das Geschirr und Besteck nicht ganz sauber war, lag wohl daran, dass wir die ersten Gäste in diesem Jahr waren. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt. Wir können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Exceptionnel !

Exceptionnel point de vue. L'ensemble du domaine est d'une grande beauté : tout est propice au repos et à la sérénité. Avons savouré une maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût, une cuisine extérieure, la piscine ainsi que tout les éléments de confort Le gardien est absolument charmant !

Fantastic, amazing views of Cefalu.

The villa was great with an outdoor kitchen. View of the surrounding area was fabulous. Owner was very helpful and helped us with numerous questions and recommendations. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay there again. Loved it.

Perfect for us

We booked this for our extended family (6 adults and 5 children) and it was the perfect size. As we were lucky with the weather in late October, we had almost all our meals in the outdoor kitchen. This is the perfect way to experience Sicilian countryside, cooking, eating and fraternizing with a view of the Mediterranean. The owner was very forthcoming and tried to help us in any way possible. On the negative side, the road down to the villa is very steep and narrow. Either follow directions closely or use the coordinates on the GPS. Sleeping rooms were not to big, and toilets were clean but a bit worn. GIven the price, location, setting, owner it is a clear 5 of 5. Good luck and enjoy

A beautiful villa

A group of four couples and 2 children just returned from an incredible vacation at Villa Lavander! Everything was exactly as described on the website and the views are even more spectacular—if that's possible. The most important aspects in selecting a vacation location to our group are the outside views, privacy, comfortable outside seating for entertaining, and proximity of fun day trips. Villa Lavander was perfect! We enjoyed traveling to many lovely towns during the day: Gratteri, Castelbuono, Collesano. Least but not last: Cefalù (at a short drive to the villa less than 6 km) was enchanting. Beautiful village full of shops, restaurants and bars. Returned to the villa in the evenings we cooked and enjoy the beautiful outside patio and dining area. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the external kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals.Great barbecue, great oven for pizza. Gianni, furthermore gave us wood free of charge. The pool is incredible—even more beautiful than the pictures. Gianni was very helpful to us from the very beginning. We relied on his information for getting around and finding local supermarkets, restaurants, etc. This was our 4th trip to Italy and we all agree that it ranks at the top of our list as one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations. I highly recommend it.

Excellent villa and excellent town, a real gem!

Excellent villa and excellent town, a real gem! I booked this villa through this website, which was simple. The communication and map provided made it extremely easy to organise and to find it. The villa itself is lovely, well laid out and well proportioned, the outside area and pool was excellent.. All in all, a wonderful experience and we are looking forward coming again

Our stay in Cefalu

For a large group (we were 8) the house was perfect!!! 5 separate bedrooms with private bathrooms. The common area (dining room/was living room) was comfortable and allowed us all to meet and enjoy great meals. Cefalu is about 10 minutes away and one of the greatest little cities. Nice shopping and fantastic restaurants Gianni, the owner is a really nice man and extremely helpful. His staff is also very efficient. Whenever we go back to Sicily, we will for sure rent again this villa
