REMODELED Treasured family home in SOUTHAMPTON with 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathrooms Cape style home located on a quiet cul-de-sac steps away from a freshwater lake perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking and Bike 15 minutes or Drive 5 minutes to Coopers Beach or the Village of Southampton. Great running and biking around the lake. Air Conditioned and fully stocked with linens, kitchen and water sports activities. House lives much larger than it looks as it is a dormer style second floor.

House completely remodeled 2 years ago from floor to ceiling, new pipes, new heat & air, new baths, new kitchen, new hardwood floors.

Steps away from Big Fresh Pond. Walk to the end of the Cul De Sac and Big Fresh Pond perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and kayaking. Walk to the other end of the street to the famous North Sea General Store for the best deli sandwich in the Hamptons. Liquor store is a 5 minute walk and North Sea Tavern is a 1 minute walk to the house. The house is located minutes away from the Village of Southampton, Coopers Beach, Flying Point Beach, Shinnecock Golf Course and Sag Harbor.

Hamptons getaway

We had a wonderful time at the property. It was convenient to all Southampton, major attractions, including the beach. Also being on the lake and having kayaks, added a whole Nother face to our adventure. The host was very tentative and helpful. We would surely stay there again

Perfect Hamptons family retreat

Perfectly set up for our family! Large bedrooms, huge closets, tons of toys for our busy three year old son to play with. Super close to the pond with fun water crafts--kayak and SUP. Deli close by for grocery needs and yummy sandwiches. The house is beautifully but comfortably decorated. Just perfect!

Southampton Hidden Gem

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint home in Southampton. The indoor remodel was beautiful and very stylish. I especially loved the Pottery Barn bedding and our king size bed was SUPER comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in one night and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We had a great time! (Just a note: Remember to bring your own hand soap, kleenex and toilet paper when you first arrive as per the instructions.) We would definitely stay here again. Happy Traveling!

Through the looking glass.

Once you walk through the front door your vacation starts. This house is so comfortable and well equipped we felt immediately "at Home". A true cottage it combines comfort with relaxation. The house is freshly renovated and the bathrooms and kitchen have been improved in the last year and all the beds are new and of a high quality with lovely linens and pillows. It is sleek, clean, and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The pond is a tranquil oasis and if you are smart you will take advantage of the water toys and spend part of your day on the pond. We swam, kayaked, SUPed, and floated around letting the accumulated stress of life leave our bodies. Each night before sunset we would take the chairs and sit on the dock and watch as the sun worked it's way west and left us calm and happy. A nod to the forces of commerce the internet is good and we watched Wimbledon on cable. Being only five minutes from Southampton is great too. I hope to come back again with the same group of people to make more memories.

Perfect for families, super clean & close to everything!

This cute house is clean and updated inside. The kitchen is nicely outfitted, the bedrooms are a nice size with plenty of closet space and very comfortable beds. Baths are nice too! It's a perfect house to gather after a great day at the beach. Its also close to town, mini golf and restaurants.

Magical Gem

There is so much good about this house and it's location starting with welcoming the property feels as soon as you arrive. There is a gorgeous pond with the most amazing sunsets right down the street and the grounds of the home lend to immediate relaxation. It was easy to check in with the key pad and each room is cozy and inviting - we stayed here for 2 weeks with my two kids (ages 6 and 2) as well as my mom and sister. The house is a perfect mixture of beach chic and sophisticated renovation - very true to all the photos but even better when you arrive. We absolutely fell in love with the area as we were in close proximity to so many activities and great beaches. Some places that we loved were the Southhampton Ice Rink, Children's Museum of the East End, Shelter Island, Sag Harbor Main Street (esp Sag Pizza, Sen and Il Cappucino) and Coopers Beach. We were even able to take a day trip to Montauk which was incredible. Darby and Marybeth were amazing hosts - super responsive to any questions we had and available to help us navigate the area. It was really the perfect get away and provided our whole family with much needed relaxation. We will definitely be back!

Southampton Review

A few friends and I stayed at this house as a vacation from the city and to work remotely while our offices are closed this year. The house is in a great location- right on a large pond & access to a neighborhood dock, close to downtown Southampton and a 15 min drive to the beach. The house is spacious and fit four of us comfortably for two weeks. The kitchen and bathrooms are recently updated, washer/dryer in the basement and a large living room with a sectional & a smart TV to relax in. Some amenities listed with the house were not available- no bikes, the gas grill was out of propane and the living room couch had been cleaned right before our arrival so was wet the first few days of our stay. Unfortunately the homeowner scheduled multiple maintenance appointments for the house during our stay, some where workers needed to enter the house and we needed to leave. Although we were given a heads up about one of the visits, there were additional that we were not made aware of. The homeowner also entered the house without being let in one of the first days after we checked-in. A warning that the smoke detector is very sensitive in the kitchen and when we accidentally set off while cooking, the homeowner held us accountable for paying a fee after a few negative interactions about the situation. Overall, we really enjoyed the location and the house was comfortable to work remotely from, but communication with the homeowner was at times difficult & caused unneeded stress during our stay.

Wonderful House

My family and I had to leave the city for a few weeks. This was the most wonderful house . Everything is brand new from the sheets to the mattresses . It has a wonderful back yard and super close to everything. We look forward to staying here in the future. Donā€™t miss this house. Perfect for families or friends looking for an escape

Outstanding! This house is completely NEW inside.

This was the PERFECT house for staying in the Hamptons. Super comfy beds and couch. Huge master bedroom and bath. A very quiet lake is right out the door! The private dock allows for the best sunset watching in the area. Home comes with many lake toys: paddle boards, etc. Kitchen has absolutely everything you would need. Great local market one block away and a local seafood store. Beach, Southhampton town, and farmers market are super close. The home really made our family vacation a memorably one.

This is the second time I've stayed in this house for a week-long vacation in the Hamptons. The house is clean, orderly, and there is plenty of room for everyone in the family. The beds are great! The location couldn't be better -- just down the street from Tate's Bake Shop, as well as the main street of Southampton. I even did yoga on the lake dock -- so peaceful. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in the Hamptons.

Lovely comfortable home on a quiet street

This is an immaculate spacious home that we enjoyed for three days. We visited the Hamptons for a surprise birthday for a family member who lives in New York. We were so impressed by how well furnished and comfortable it was that we intend to rent it again for a longer visit. My daughter and three grandchildren loved the fact that there were two kayaks and a paddle board that they used all three days. Hopefully we will be able to return next year.

Relaxing Trip

We had such a great time this past week staying in Southampton. The Woods home is beautiful and comfortable. Everything is brand new and tastefully decorated. It's deceivingly large on the inside, plenty of room for our family to spread out. It immediately felt like home. Coopers Beach was the perfect place to spend our days. And the North Sea General Store at the corner has great sandwiches. I think we picked one up every day. July 3rd we found the Southampton Fire Department had a fair about a mile away so we took a walk to watch the fireworks. I couldn't have ask for a better escape. We all got to relax, catch up with each other, and most importantly catch up on sleep! Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Planning my Family Trip to the Hampton- Customer Service 5 Stars

Being our first trip to the Hamptons, we had so many questions about the area. We fell in love with this lovely property and its ideal Southampton location. The owner walked us through the local must-dos, explained the layout of the city, told us about neighboring communities, and gave us everything we would need to know to have an awesome trip. Unfortunately our plans changed and we weren't able to go to the Hamptons. I will absolutely revisit this listing and hope that this adorable family home will one day be the location of our next family vacation. Very homey and comfortable .

Was the perfect getaway for an extended family of eight, two young grandparents, three children, one son in law, and two baby grandchildren. Very rustic, with a wonderful quiet road and a lake just about 200 ft. From the house. House had all the amenities needed to enjoy the weekend, adequate water, heat and electric. The house was clean when we entered, and we left it clean as well. Just a wonderful time had by all. The instructions left us by owner pretty much apprised us of what we needed before we arrived.

Clean, Comfortable, Perfect Location Southampton Rental- Great Value

My family had a wonderful time at this rental. House was recently remodeled and you can definitely see the pride of ownership. My son enjoyed kayaking on the lake and walking to the deli to get his donut every morning, my husband loved hanging on the dock drinking his beer at sunset and grilling and I loved buying fresh vegetables and pies at the farm stand, walking to the fish store to get fresh fish everyday to grill and shopping in town which was 5 minutes away. We also enjoyed our adventures to the town of Sag Harbor (about 15 min drive) to check out the International Yachts and the local Southampton beaches which were so beautiful (about 6 minutes away.) A great VALUE and had everything we needed.

Wonderful family vacation spot in Southhampton

This is a lovely quiet house just steps away from a huge lake which is perfect for kayaking and swimming. The kitchen, baths, beds and linens are all new. The living room is very spacious as is the formal dining room. There is a terrific back porch and a shaded grass area in the backyard to play games. The house is close to the town of Southampton and within walking distance of some great delis that offer prepared meals, fresh seafood and vegetables.

My husband and I were excited as we both grew up on Long Island and many of our childhood friends had second homes in the Hamptons. When she decided to move home to Santa Monica, we took the opportunity to buy the house from her to keep it in the family and to stay close to my brothers, sister and family friends that all live on the East Coast. This sweet home has been the location of so many fun family reunions over the past 15 years. I have been a Real Estate Broker for the past 42 years for Coldwell Banker in Los Angeles and have 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. My family has had many fun memories getting together at the house over the years enjoying the lake, local beaches, family BBQ, kayaking, biking, lobster dinner and going to the local farm stands.

Walk out the front door to the lake where you can kayak, swim in the fresh water, paddle board or just hang out on the dock. You can also walk to the local deli down the street for their famous sandwiches. It is also located 5 minutes to the Village of Southampton, Coopers Beach, Flying Point Beach, Peconic Bay and 15 minutes to Sag Harbor and the ferry to Shelter Island.
