Palm Springs Get Away

It’s the first time I’ve rented through Vrbo that I’ve had to meet a person on site. The lady had to give us a tour and tell us the do’s and the don’ts. We had to give them pictures of all of our driver’s licenses and sign a behavior form. On top of that we were told if we had any guest they had to leave by 10. I felt like I was a kid instead of a grown adult. I flew in for my nieces wedding and it felt very uncomfortable staying at this location. I love Palm Springs but will make sure I stay on the other side and find a place with out so many rules. The place was cute and mostly clean. The sink had some kind of liquid that had not been cleaned and drained. Their was a problem with small ants.

Hi Kenny, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - Meeting the guest on-site is a requirement from the City of Palm Springs, and this requirement is disclosed at the bottom of the listing description: "All adults over the age of 18 must provide a signature upon arrival, ensuring they understand rules and regulations. They will also receive a copy of the rules and regulations and be given verbal instructions on noise, parking, and occupancy" - Similarly, the do’s and don’ts come directly from the rules and regulations handbook for vacation rentals in Palm Springs. - Additionally, we have extra rules in place at this time for COVID. We strive to make our guests as comfortable as possible while also balancing the need to abide by the rules and regulations of the city. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Well-priced and very spacious.

We stayed here for the weekend when attending a wedding down the street at Cree Estate and this suit our group perfectly. It was very spacious, within walking distance to the estate and clean.

Great location with easy access to activities throughout the valley. This is an older unit which is definitely tired and in need of updates to the carpeting and both bathrooms. Living area and bedroom furniture were relatively up-to-date ad comfortable.

They would have been happy to address your concerns right away but did not hear from you while in residence. Palm Springs Getaway

The location of our townhouse was great and the overall layout worked well for our group of five people (two families). However, there were a few issues with the property. Most serious was the smell of cigarette (and marijuana) smoke coming from the adjacent unit. We let our contact person know this was an issue and she informed us they have received this complaint before and informed the owners. If you know this is a problem I think you should be sure the renters know it's a potential drawback. We would have avoided the rental if we knew about the smoke problem. The unit advertises a washer/dryer, but there was no laundry soap - we would have been happy with just a couple of soap tablets. The same with the dishwasher soap and toilet paper. We were there for a week and had to purchase several basic amenities one expects to be included. We'll go back to Palm Springs, but would not rent this unit again.

The unit reeked of cigarette smoke and weed

I gave 1 star for clean because of the smell. Property was clean, "looked" good when you walked in but the smell was horrible. The next door neighbor that shares a wall must smoke 24 hours a day both cigarettes and weed and it leaches into this property. I feel bad for the owner because this is a huge problem. We left with headaches and sore throats. We really only slept there at night, can't imagine if we were there during the day as well we would have left early. I contacted the property manager and got the "we have never had anyone complain about this" I wasn't going to leave a bad review but have decided that is not fair to others interested in renting this property. Hopefully they can solve the problem and let future tenants know that it was rectified. Very unfortunate because it is a nice property.

Such a cute little gem this place is. It was a great experience. My contact Robin, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. It's the perfect location and very convenient. The condo was clean, beds were comfy, everything worked great. I will definitely stay there again.

Great pool and jacuzzi

The pool and jacuzzi were a very short walk from our door. The pool was warm and usually unoccupied. The walls of the condo were a little thin, but no neighbors nearby. The decor was contemporary.

Amazing Townhouse

This townhouse was really nice. It is located a few miles south of the Palm Springs airport. The downstairs bedrooms were very spacious and the master bedroom/loft upstairs was HUGE! There are two nearby pools (1 min walking distance from the townhouse). The view of the mountains from the pool are breath taking!! All the beds were very comfortable. It is located in a quiet complex. My friends and I went for a girls weekend trip over Labor Day weekend-besides the 120 degree weather (no joke) we would stay here again. It is also about 30 minutes from the outlets (totally worth the drive!!!!). Not sure how far it is from downtown Palm Springs-since we went during Covid-19, we didn’t venture out. The kitchen is a nice size and came with the basics. There is drip coffee maker, ice maker in the freezer and blender. We loved it here!

We booked this property to attend the tennis open at Indian Wells which was cancelled. There wasn't much on the resort for us to do but property was fine.

Clean townhouse heated community pool

Condo has newer furniture, including the beds and mattresses. Nice layout and a very pleasant stay. Due to this "newness" to the rental market the kitchen is woefully understocked, one set only of dishes, glasses, sliverware and a few pans. Had to buy a wine opener. No extra linens either. Check with managment to see if this has been remedied, if you plan on preparing any meals there.

Nice, quiet condo!

This was a nice place to stay! The complex is well maintained and quiet. The inside is nicely kept. It had everything we needed. The only drawback was that we could not get any TV reception upstairs in the master bedroom. We would come back here again though.

Great reunion home

There were 6 of us, 3 couples and we enjoyed this condo very much! It is pleasant and quiet and the decor was comfortable and new. Beds are great and the host, Brittany was a pleasure to communicate with before and after our stay. We will definitely be back!!
