The chalet of the Guisane, river that flows in the valley and that empties into the Durance River in Briançon, is made of stone and larch wood and is composed of 3 levels for 430 m² on a huge 6000 m² fully fenced wooded park with remote-controlled gate. Built by Henri Colboc, Grand Prix de Rome, to make it its secondary mountain residence, it is a huge warm and welcoming house where it is pleasant to live. It is equipped with infrared sauna which is ideal to relax after a day of skiing, mountain hiking or mountain biking and a pool table. Ground floor: huge entrance with hall, vestibule with 4-seat infrared sauna and pool table, boiler room, 2 separate bedrooms with 2 shower rooms to the left of the entrance, huge cupboard to store clothes and shoes for around 20 guests, outbuildings, storage spaces and garage for 2 vehicles to the right of the entrance with automatic doors. First floor: accessible by a semi-circular staircase. Above the 2 ground floor bedrooms, there is a large study with Wi-Fi Internet connection, a bedroom, a shower room and a laundry room. The rest of the 130 m² first floor is the living space: the fireplace area, composed of pink sandstone millstone that serves as firebox, double-wall sheet metal hood and circular grill, configures the layout of the television living area as well as the huge bow-window living area on one side and the dining room and its huge oak table adjacent to the kitchen and the pantry on the other side. This living space opens onto a huge 100 m² terrace. Second floor: opening onto a Mezzanine with original balustrade, 4 bedrooms including a master bedroom with Spa bath and shower cubicle, 1 with double bed and 2 large attic bedrooms for children, teens or adults according to your need and equipped with 3 or 4 single beds. These 3 bedrooms have a shower room with toilet. A television area for children by the Mezzanine completes the equipment on this floor accessible via a circular staircase decorated by a Polish artist, a friend of the architect. The balustrade of the Mezzanine with irregular design to avoid monotony is made of white lacquered sandblasted pine wood just like the ceilings which accentuate the brightness of the place. The sleeping area consists in total of 7 bedrooms with 5 double beds, 8 single beds and 5 shower rooms. Balconies and terraces offer this huge mountain house a convivial atmosphere opening onto the outside while preserving inside very nice volumes bathed in light and warmth.
