Hana's Heaven - a charming 2 bedroom cottage with spectacular ocean views

Hana's Heaven - a charming 2 bedroom cottage complete with full kitchen, living room and 3 lanais. Wake every day to the sunrise and ocean expanse. Off the beaten track, this home away from home is quiet and serene, the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Nearby beaches offer surf and swimming and nature hikes begin right out your front door. Hana town is just 3 miles down the road and the Ohe'o Gulch/Seven Sacred Pools a few minutes in the other direction. Hang gliding, riding, cycling, snorkeling are all easily accessible. We are fully off-grid with solar power and filtered water catchment. We are not set up to support medical devices like oxygen machines and CPAP machines.

Totally Hana Heaven

Best place I’ve ever stayed! The name says it all! Spectacular view, most comfortable bed, clean and so peaceful! We were so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here. Thank you Larry and Rebekah for opening your home for guests to enjoy. I hope to return someday. Such a wonderful retreat! Mahalo!

Little slice of paradise!

Hana’s Heaven was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our first time in Maui! We enjoyed the beautiful house and took full advantage of the balcony! We loved waking up to see the sunrise! Larry was super kind and helped us with any questions we had about the house and about what to do on the island. His friendliness made our stay that much more enjoyable! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet oasis away from the city!

Heavenly Experience

My friend and I wanted to explore the Hana area. I found Hana's Heaven which was located in an ideal area as well as remote. The cottage and the property are amazing and pictures don't depict the beauty of it. We both felt so privileged to be staying there. Larry and Rebecca were both so informative on directions and information. Hoping one day to return to this magical place.

Tropical delight

You’ll want to spend more than a couple nights in this inspiring paradise. The house is perfectly appointed with everything you need. Incredible views, fresh flowers and fruit. Rebekah and Larry, your hosts, are wonderful and share the true spirit of Aloha. I definitely plan on visiting again. Mahalo nui

An amazing place to stay in Hana

We’re thankful we had an opportunity to enjoy this beautiful property. With the beautiful views, fresh fruit, and cool trade winds constantly blowing, it was truly a little slice of paradise. Our hosts were kind and attentive. Watching the sunrise from our bedroom overlooking the mountain and oceans in Maui was a highlight of our trip.

Heaven on Earth

We absolutely loved our stay at Hana’s Heaven. The property was so beautiful, enough to never leave. The location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Larry gave us so many great suggestions and was spot on with all of them. It was a trip we will never forget. Thank you for sharing your place with us, it was truly magical. Peaceful and Serene

This is a beautiful cottage with lovely furnishings on a gorgeous piece of property. We loved it! It is so peaceful and serene. We spent every morning on the lanai watching the sunrise, and every evening watching the moonrise. There were blooming orchids in every room. We could hear the ocean at night in the distance. When we had car trouble, Katie (the caretaker) helped us out, even offering to drive us to OGG if needed. Because it is solar-powered, there is no AC, no ceiling fans, no dishwasher, but you will not even notice these missing "luxuries" for all the natural luxurious beauty that surrounds you. I highly recommend this cottage.

Hana Heaven Says It All

When hosts put something like "Heaven" in the title of their property they are setting a very high standard that is hard to actually meet. In this rare instance, it is a very valid description. My wife and I spent 4 days and 3 nights here. Of our 17 days in Hawaii, these were the best. Let me start by prefacing this by saying that I am someone that needs air conditioning to sleep, am never disconnected from work and the outside world and find it hard to sit still. Once arriving at Hana Heaven, I was able to enjoy life here without any of it. As frequent travelers, we always are going from one activity to the next. In this instance, Hana Heaven is such a relaxing environment I found myself not wanting to do anything except sit on the balcony, look at the view and listen to the birds and waves off in the distance. This place truly felt magical and my wife said she had the best sleep she has had in ages. As I already said, I have to have AC to sleep well. The winds blowing through the house were plenty adequate for me to get a good night sleep. The internet connection here is not great and it was wonderful! That is the point of coming here, to disconnect from the world and enjoy the lush surroundings. We enjoyed working out in the Yoga pavilion and taking the short walk down the hill to the absolutely magical Venus Pool. We could not have enjoyed our stay here more and can't wait to go back. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Hana’s hidden gem

We loved our stay at Hana’s heaven, and were surprised to find it was even better than the pictures! With the most amazing view of the ocean, we spent so much time enjoying the lovely lanai. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well put together and we loved watching the sunrise from bed every morning. The kitchen is fully stocked with all that you would need to make any sized meal. We were also close to the limited but delicious options in Hana. The location is simply perfect, we enjoyed daily walks down the road and by car we saw so many beautiful places within a few miles of the property. Although you could have spent the entire time on-site taking in the views, beautiful lush vegetation and adorable porch kitties! Larry and Rebekah have put together the most welcoming and lovely place to stay, we hope to be back very soon. Mahalo.

Quiet, serene, peaceful all in a beautiful location!

Wonderful hosts, great communication. Really appreciated them sharing their property with us. In a beautiful secluded location that is very private and quiet. Wonderful views on a wonderful property that had both the house and the property filled with flowers and nice landscaping. All of the doors and windows were left open the entire time of our visit with an awesome breeze but what says the most was that we could leave the house and never shut/locked the doors at any time while we were there or left to play for the day. The driveway was gated and the owners property is close by. What a wonderful place to find some peace and some quietness all while letting your guard down and feeling safe. Would absolutely stay there again.

Magical Hana

This was our 4th stay at Hana’s Heaven and of course it did not disappoint! We brought some friends, who were first timers to both Maui, Hana and Hana’s Heaven. Although our original travel plans to Maui were altered due to the devastating West Maui fires, but we kept our Hana itinerary in tact, and so grateful we did! The views, the beautiful landscape, the absolute tranquility we feel while there, is just magical! Thanks to Larry and Rebekah for another great experience! We hope to be back soon!

Great cottage

We stayed at Rebekah’s cottage in Hana earlier this month. It was our first trip to Maui and the cottage was a restful place to relax after the long drive on the road to Hana. The rental was well-stocked (probably the most stocked we have ever experienced) with gorgeous views from every room. Believe it or not, the place is even better than the photos in real life! We went to bed every night watching the moon cast its shadow on the ocean below it and woke up every morning to the rising sun lighting up the sky and our bedroom. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai while taking pictures of the sun rise and hearing the ocean rumble. The property is surrounded by incredible lushness. Ocean view yoga in the gazebo next to the property hit totally different! The property is close to Venus pools and Hamoa beach. We recommend stopping at Tony’s fruit stand for coconut water and fresh pineapple, and going to Hana farms for lunch or dinner. Pipiwai trail/Waimoku falls/Seven Sacred Pools can be easily accessed by continuing on the Road to Hana. Red and black sand beaches are also close by on the other side. Rebekah’s directions were great and she was available by phone for additional details. We recommend driving to the cottage during daytime when first arriving. Katie was sweet to check in on us and bring us fresh vegetables from her garden. Truly an incredible place to rest and regenerate.

Nothing like it!

We absolutely loved the property, the hosts and the magical views, flowers, birds, and peace. The house is equipped with everything you need. Every painting, rug, furniture, pottery, mirror, side tables, etc. are rich in design and placement, and deserve your attention. I recommend bringing a yoga mat because you will want to practice in this amazing environment. I also recommend a hearty SUV to make the drive, or jeep. If you have never been to Maui, go straight to the Costco and pack up everything you will need for your time in Hana, you may choose to never leave the property!!! The pictures don't catch the vibe of the place, but you will not be disappointed. We will be back, soon! Mahalo!

This is a whole lotta Heaven in Hana

This was a very delightful experience to be in the magic and vistas of Hana. The host and hostess are very gifted curators. The cottage and the grounds are stunning. Here you can feel that you are in the garden of Eden (I am sure they meant Hana). We experienced so much happiness and joy here.

A perfect place to enjoy God’s creation at it’s best

Hana Heaven is a perfect name for this property. Gorgeous sunrises nearly every morning; the grounds including an on-site waterfall and fresh flowers upon arrival. Heavenly Hana is truly heaven
