Beautiful Rustic 3BR Condo - Woodson Bend - Sleeps 14

This rustic condominium at Woodson Bend Resort is located just around the corner from the swimming pool, Palisades restaurant, and tennis courts and overlooks a par-three hole that allows you to watch golfers play! This unit is also within walking distance to the volleyball court, basketball court and children’s playground, making this one of the best locations on the resort property!!

In addition to in-house dining, the restaurant will also provide pool concessions, boat/golf packages and condo provision and a catering service as well.

Woodson Bend’s 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Lee Trevino and Dave Bennett, is part of the greenscape that is surrounded by Lake Cumberland.

Woodson Bend’s gated community also offers hiking trails, a driving range and putting green for practice and a clubhouse with banquet room. Our children also enjoy skateboarding and roller-blading down the hills and around the resort!

Burnside Marina is just minutes away and offers ski boat and jet ski rentals so you can have plenty of fun in the sun on beautiful Lake Cumberland!

Somerset also offers your family a wide variety of activities. There are several upscale restaurants as well as restaurants offering a more casual setting. You can even enjoy a cocktail with dinner at some locations. Really nice Condo With everything you will need!

We just got back from our July 1-4th stay at this amazing condo we could not believe how nice it was. We fit 2 families in this condo with plenty of room left and everyone had their own bathroom, one for the kids and one each for the adults. The community was great, everyone was very nice and helpful and what a nice option to be able to get bags of ice at the guard gate on your way to the lake. We rented slips for our boats at Lee Ford Marina was a great choice just had to get up pack a cooler and drive over to the boats. I would suggest this condo to anyone and if you have kids this one is the one to rent our 4 12-14year olds loved the bunk bed room.

FAMILY GATHERING

The condo is decorated beautifully - - one could tell that the owners had put thought into the décor and it was a warm and cozy atmosphere. The location is right on the golf course and the men enjoyed hitting some balls there. One of the main reasons we like to stay in VRBO dwellings is that we are a family that likes to prepare and use the kitchen for most of our meals - - that has always been a big 'plus' to have the kitchen available. I hope the owners will invest in new cookware - - it was not usable - - all the cookware was Teflon coated and we were concerned to use it because it was in such poor shape - - some pans were down to the bare surface and other pots/pan were so badly flaked off that there was concern it would contaminate our food. We had brought much food with us to prepare and it was very disappointing that we could not use the kitchen utensils to have our 'family-time' in the kitchen - - we had to improvise and it was a difficult problem to deal with. As I said - it was a lovely condo and we enjoyed our time there but was very disappointed in the quality of the kitchenware.

Above and beyond!

Patti was a breeze to work with, her place was super clean, tastefully decorated, everything in the unit (applainces, etc.) worked great, well stocked kitchen... And to top it all off - shortly after we left we realized we had left our 4 year old son's teddy bear in the bunk bed room. I informed Patti, and she not only advised her cleaning staff to look for it, but she then also paid to ship it to us (after I had requested that she send it C.O.D. so that I would pay for shipping!). Above and beyond what we would even expect for a vacation rental experience. If you are looking for an overall high quality experience - look no further!!

Ideal for our family reunion

Just like the photos. Very roomy, well equipped for cooking and hanging out together. Easy walk to nice swimming pool which we used several times. Bagged ice sold at the gatehouse was great for our homemade ice cream.

WOW!

I've been using VRBO for years and this is by far one of the best properties I've rented. The pictures and description just don't do it justice. It is fully stocked with anything you could need and is beautifully decorated. Additionally, it was "brand spanking" clean. The great room gives a wonderful sunrise view - ahhhh. Quite honestly, I could happily have moved into this great condo! I cannot wait to rent it again.

We had a great trip to Lake Cumberland and loved the condo and Woodson Bend. The resort is a little big and spread out but this condo is really close to the pool and clubhouse so that is a big plus. The condo had all the important things we needed and was in good condition and clean. The beds were OK and the wi-fi was pretty poor but everything else was top-notch. I recommend!

Great Condo

We rented for a long weekend. The location is great for swimming and a safe location for small kids. The unit is in good shape, everything works. The only issue is the wi-fi is really weak, but it's great to get away from all the BS of the web.

Great family vacation location

We rented this condo from looking at the pictures and reading the description on VRBO. Everything was as advertised. There was more than enough room for the adults and the kids and Woodson Bend is a super location for a family vacation with a hugh swimming pool (right across the street) and a awesome golf course. We will be returning to Woodson Bend and will definately rent this condo again.

Golf Getaway

Condo was ideal for our golf trip. Plenty of room, 3 baths, 3 bedrooms and a great place to gather in the evenings to play cards. Course was in good shape this year due to the mild winter. Also played at Burnside Island which is only a 15-20 minute drive. Condo was very clean, well stocked with towels.

Wonderful Family Vacation Getaway!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family stay; everyone enjoyed the relaxation that Woodson Bend provided. Perfectly located on the property, near all the amenities...especially the pool!! The home was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and we particularly appreciated the spacious kitchen which also had all the necessities (and then some). Girls Getaway Weekend

I spent the weekend before my wedding at this beautiful condo with 10 of my closet girlfriends. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy myself before the hectic "pre-wedding" week events. I would recommend this place for couples, families or groups of friends.

My husband and I purchased this property because we come to Woodson Bend Resort so often! We love coming down all year round. The swimming, boating and horseback riding is so much fun. We have a blast everytime we come down. My entire family, including 5 brothers and sisters, 23 neices and nephews and 28 grand neices and nephews enjoy it. We have many reunions here and our unit is always the gathering place because it's so roomy and can accomodate a crowd comfortably!

Our unit is decorated in a rustic fashion, and very comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxing. We love the location across from the pool and tennis courts!
