Very beautiful new apartment with terrace duplex (sleeps 6) in a detached villa in the center of Ajaccio (Quartier du Casone - Cave Napoleon).

District, both central and quiet, close to beaches and shopping.

First floor: kitchen (fully equipped including dishwasher and washing machine), living room transformable space in the room (by movable partition) with a private bathroom (Italian shower), 1 WC.

First floor: 2 air-conditioned attic rooms with a bathroom (bath) with toilet, 1 office.

Large terrace (20 m2), sunny, furnished (table, benches, umbrella, plancha).

Multimedia Equipment: TV (43 + Service FreeBox plasma TV), DVD player, wireless internet access.

Nearby beaches: Trottel 400m (5min walk), and Barbicaja Marinella 3km (served by bus, stop at 20m), 10km peninsula of Sanguinaires.

Napoleon cave and Tennis Casone 50m, start hiking path 200m peaks.


The villa was completely renovated in 2012 and offers 2 independent apartments, including this one. It is located in a very nice area, both central and quiet, composed of many individual villas.

Very convenient, as close to many shops, several beaches are accessible directly feet. Several bus lines are available in the next street to get to the Sanguinaires and its legendary beaches ...

Athletes will not be disappointed with Casone of tennis courts at 50m and the departure of magnificent Crest Trail and the view overlooking the Gulf of Ajaccio 200m.

L’appartement était idéalement situé près du centre et d’une très belle plage .L’appartement est très bien agencé et idéal pour une famille de 5 avec deux grands adolescents !La terrasse est parfaite et l’hôte est très disponible . Séjour à Ajaccio

L’appartement est exactement comme décrit. La très agréable terrasse ainsi que la disposition des chambres à l’étage avec une superbe vue sur la mer nous a particulièrement plu. L’emplacement dans Ajaccio permet aussi bien d’aller à pied au centre ville ou sur le bord de mer en 5 - 10 minutes. De belles plages sont accessibles à seulement 10 minutes en voiture (possible en bus de même) en direction des îles sanguinaires. Nous avons donc passé de merveilleuses vacances à Ajaccio, sans être obligés de trop se déplacer en voiture, ce qui est un point important pour nous. Le plus important pour la fin… Frédéric, merci beaucoup pour votre accueil et votre disponibilité, nous permettant de passer de très bonnes vacances en famille. On se sent vraiment bien dans votre appartement 😁

Logement idéal pour séjourner à Ajaccio

Le logement est magnifique, propre, lumineux, décoré avec goût, très bien situé et avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Il dispose de tout le nécessaire pour qu'on s'y sente aussi bien sinon mieux qu'à la maison. Au-delà du logement que je qualifierai de parfait, nous avons été touchés par la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires. Séjournez-y et vous ne serez pas déçus !

Sentiment rare d'une maison d'amis plutôt que d'une location. Propriétaires aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes avant et pendant la location. Accès au centre ville à pied et à une grande plage aussi à pied en quelques mn. Même si nous avons préféré aller sur d'autres plages accessibles en 10mn en voiture, en direction des Sanguinaires.

Très belle location

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L’appartement est très agréable , il est spacieux, la terrasse extrêmement appréciable et le tout d’une propreté remarquable ! Il est de surcroît très bien situé, à 2 pas du centre, dans une rue calme où il est aisé de se garer. Le propriétaire très sympathique répond très rapidement à toutes nos questions et nous a réservé un accueil agréable malgré notre heure d’arrivée tardive. Nous recommandons +++

Couldn't be better, really

The flat is gorgeous with all amenities, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location is quite perfect - bakery, butchers, delicatessen, supermarket, organic supermarket, restaurants, a choice of ice-cream shops and a lovely beach are all literally a couple of minutes walk away, and yet the neighbourhood is very calm and quiet. Really perfect.

Excellent, modern property with terrace

Maintained to a high standard, and with a great amount of space for the two of us plus a terrace to sunbathe. Host was very helpful in mitigating the otherwise excessive local taxi fares, but you don't need transport to find a very good selection of worthy restaurants. Everything worked excellently, would return...

Superb, well maintained apartment in good location

Superb apartment in a good location - 15 minutes stroll to the centre, but at least 5 good and attractive restaurants 5 minutes away. A very considerate host, who mitigated the amazingly expensive taxi fares in Ajaccio. There were only 2 of us; but 4 guests would still have been very comfortable.

juste parfait!

Nous revenons enchantés de notre séjour en Corse. Outre la beauté de l'île dont la réputation n'est plus à faire, l'appartement de Frédéric nous a enchanté. D'une propreté irréprochable, parfaitement équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il est idéalement placé; à un petit quart d'heure à pied du centre d'Ajaccio mais tout proche des commerces de proximité. L'environnement est très calme et nous n'avons jamais eu de difficulté à nous garer à côté. Frédéric est très accueillant, toujours disponible, répondant du tac au tac à la moindre sollicitation. Merci encore!

Séjour parfait

Superbe appartement en duplex avec vue sur mer, très fonctionnel car il y a tout ce qu'il faut dedans. Il est à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville, et il est très facile de se garer dans la rue, Frédéric nous a très bien reçu, mes amis et moi avons passé un excellent séjour

Séjour inoubliable !

Séjour calme, reposant, lumineux (exactement ce qu'on cherchait). Ceci certes, grâce à l'appartement qui dispose : - d'une excellente situation (à deux pas de toutes commodités : transports, commerces, plage, bois des anglais), idéal pour nous que n'avions pas de voiture ; - d'une propreté irréprochable ; - d'équipements modernes ; - d'une distribution de pièces très adaptée pour nous (un couple), la vue à partir du bureau sur les montagnes et la mer incline à la méditation ; - d'une décoration modernes (le duplex est neuf, la décoration reflète le soin et la tendresse que Fréderic et Jennifer portent à l'appartement et également aux locataires). Et c'est bien là le point d'orgue de la location : Frédéric et Jennifer réservent un accueil chaleureux (Frédéric est même venu nous chercher à l'aéroport), charmant, et sont très à l'écoute des besoins. Fluidité des échanges, réponse rapide (je n'ai jamais vu un propriétaire répondre si vite à nos questions), disponibilité viennent couronner les qualités précitées et font que le séjour a été beau et inoubliable. Nous rêvons d'y retourner !

Appartement très agréable

Appartement avec de beaux volumes, propre, aménagé avec goût et très bien équipé. Grande terrasse au sud pour profiter du soleil de cette île de beauté et de prendre les repas du matin et du soir. Nous avons eu une chaleur exceptionnelle qui ne nous permettait pas de manger dehors le midi. Il était préférable de rester au frais dans l'appartement climatisé. Le centre ville et la plage se trouvent à 15 minutes à pied. Très pratique. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques.

Parfait et complet

Tout était là pour un beau séjour. Lits comfortables, maison fraiche, machine à laver, lave-vaisselle. Maison est aménagée avec bon goût. La distance vers magasins et plage est bonne. Rue tranquille. Les gérants sont sympas. Seul point de critique est que le parasol bouge avec le vent, donc il est difficile d'utiliser la terrasse au moment que le soleil brille. On reste plus souvent à l'intérieur (climatisé) pendant la chaleur. Nous sommes très contents.

Un écrin pour des vacances de rêve dans une vil

Le logement est très fonctionnel, d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipé. Le logement est Idéalement placé à 5' à pied de la Plage et à 10' du Centre Ville d'Ajaccio. On peut se garer devant et en plus gratuitement. Il possède à proximité tous les commerces utiles. M. Bosseur est en plus très sympathique et accueillant Bref, un écrin pour des vacances de rêve dans une ville impériale

The perfect place to stay in Ajaccio

We'd like to extend our huge thanks to Frederic and Jacqueline for their warm welcome and for letting us stay in their beautiful apartment. I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere where we felt so at home straight away. Thank you also very much for the flowers for our anniversary, and for the delicious welcome goodies you left us (we loved the biscuits!) - really special, thoughtful touches. We found it a great area to stay; a 15 minute walk into town, with a boulangerie a couple of minutes walk away, and a Carrefour just down the hill. There were plenty of good restaurants close by, our favourite being Le Cabanon Bleu which was a 10 mins walk away. The apartment was very well equipped, we can't think of a single thing it was missing, and was spotlessly clean. We loved the bright decor and found all the furniture to be very comfortable. Our favourite bit was without doubt the balcony area - we spent as much time out there as we could. It became our daily ritual to go to the boulangerie, pick up a couple of croissants or baguettes and spend the next hour or so admiring the amazing view while enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the sunshine. We loved our first trip to Corsica and are so glad we chose this apartment as our place to stay...we're back home now and the UK feels very gloomy in comparison! Thanks again, Anne and Stu.

Just perfect!

One word describes the house and the owner; Fantastique!! The owner´s description and the photos of the house are accurate and correct. It is very well equipped. We did not miss anything. The house was 100% clean and all the textiles (sofa pillows, towels, bedsheets ) smelled clean and fresh of washing powder. The house is situated in a very quiet residential area. Taxi from the airport will cost you about 35 Euro. The owner met us upon our arrival and showed us around the house and answered very friendly our questions. From the house, it will take you 5-10 min. slow walk to the beach. The same distance to the nearest supermarket (Carrefour, down by the beach) where you´ll also find beach-restaurants. Every morning we walked down to the nearest boulangeri (bakery). It took us 15 min. to walk down, buy our baguettes and walk back home. A slow walk takes you to centre ville/old town in 15 min. Less than 1 min. from the house, you´ll find the bus stop for bus nr 7 that takes you to centre ville/old town in 10 min if the traffic is not too heavy. The bus runs not too often, about every 40 min. Please note that it is not suitable for wheelchair-users as you have to climb some stairs to enter the house. If you think the stairs inside the house will be a problem, do not think about it, the 1st floor has a kitchen, the living room (with a sofabed), a separate WC, a shower room and the terrace. On the 2nd floor, you will find 2 bedrooms with 1 bed (200X140cm) in each room, a bathroom with WC and a bathtub. A big “merci beaucoup” to the owner and his very friendly family. This is the best place we have ever stayed. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful house. Enjoy the house, Ajaccio and La Corse.
