Wonderful Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house/space for large group. No stairs to the lake. Lake clean and good to swim in. Great location. Outdoor kitchen very convenient. Indoor kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans for cooking and baking. Rec center included and easy to use. Taylor Made was great. Our issue with a pilot light was quickly and professionally resolved. There was a strong musty order on the lower level. Enjoyed activities at Wisp, kayaking and paddle boarding. Great fun for all ages.

Deep Creek 2018

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time last week! The house was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. We had a couple minor problems (air conditioner, smell of gas, hot tub not working), but your property management was very efficient with fixing and checking up after the fact. You should probably let guest know that the streo system throughout the house does NOT work, and to not even try to make it work. That was one bummer, we saw speakers all through house and later informed to not even try to make them work and that owner knows, but has not had them fixed. Overall great trip, thank you!

For the price of this property, I expected more. Things were broken, property wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and so this house is just averaged.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nicely laid out. We had problems with the TVs but once the tech let us know about the area that needed to be left open to receive the signal we were good to go. The outdoor kitchen was a mess, it was not working and the tech said it had been that way for awhile, he said he was ordering a part for both grills, we cleaned them and got the outdoor grill to work ourselves. The deck off of the great room had not been cleaned, cobwebs everywhere. I reported the broken light cover and the master tub spray on the card. The kitchen granite countertops were filled with dirt around the edges. The kitchen barstools had broken armrests, the chairs at the table next to the kitchen all need to be reupholsterd, you sank when you sat in them. The carpet in the King bedroom next to the split bath carpets need to be cleaned. The rental price being what it is made me think that this was a beautiful place, I was a little disappointed. But we had a great time and the lakefront was great.

Beautiful upscale home, no maintenance or upkeep on this property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful home. Very upscale. We really did enjoyed our stay. Nice location, great dock. The biggest problem facing this home is the upkeep on this property clearly does not exist. My family had to clean all day Sunday inside and outside so we could just use the amenities. Floors, tubs, wine cooler was flithly. The outdoor porches and furniture falling apart, the kitchen area was so gross. mold covered everything, thank goodness for my husband. We never did get the hot tub useable after calling 4 times, the hot tub guy clearly did not want to deal with the issue. The advertisement of tech stuff is also not true over half of the Tv’s, stereo were unusable. The WiFi is non existent throughout the house. I feel they need to change what is advertised in this home. I feel bad about this review but when you spend your money you expect what you are promised. Again Beautiful upscale home but very dirty inside and out, no upkeep at all. My review is based on the condition of the properties upkeep. Bring major cleaning supplies.

Summer 2018

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Champagne Taste is very roomy and was generally in good condition and more than adequate for our family including 6 adults and 5 children. The outdoor grill was not well kept, but the grill on the balcony was functional. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. The kids had a great time jumping off the end of the dock. I would recommend Champagne Taste to others.

2018 Couples Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All the TV'S had to be reset. The shower down stairs didn't work until we called and the man glued it back on and that came back off. Most of the heaters didn't work in the home. The main TV sound went in and out the whole time. I had to keep calling non stop for stuff the whole stay. The surroundsound was not working and that was a BIG plus to get the house. I'm not happy with all this after we paid BIG money

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Champagne Taste is a nicely appointed house. It welcomes you upon entry. My friends and I had a great weekend. The kitchen. Had everything we needed except a deep fryer. The beds were comfortable. I must say that we had a issue with the heat and hot water but maintenance showed up quickly to remedy the problem. The house is in need of furniture replacement in the common areas. The bedroom being in some rooms was a little dated and need updating. The sofas were saggy and not very comfortable. The leather seats on the diing rooms were very worn, discolored not & stable. The dining table by the main entrance needs to be replaced. It sagged and rocked so much that we did not think it was safe to use. The main common area t.v. was way to small for the space allowed for it and looked tacky. These items need to be addressed if this is an Taylor Made Elite Property. I also feel that since it is an Elite Property that upon arrival the house temperature should had been set to a comfortable temp. A sign welcoming our group with some fresh flowers would have been top notch and ELITE!

The only problem was the heat didn't work as much throughout the entire house, but they had heaters to help with the cold.

Peace and Quiet

There were 7 couples that stayed in the house and we were never on top of each other. I had to call for service as one of the living room tv's went out during our stay. Wayne responded quickly and even got the TV replaced within a few hours. The only negative I have would be the size of the rooms in the basement that have queen beds. Staging the furniture could help make the room feel larger.

2017 DEEP CREEK VACATION

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was great. Very large house and very high tech. The only thing i would recommend is detailed directions on the operation of the TV-main level and behind the bar downstairs, the sound system. We got some to work but couldn't figure out the other areas. Other than better directions for low tech people, like me, house was great....

Just love this lake & house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week in Champagne Taste at Deep Creek Lake. Beautiful home and plenty of room for our 2 families. My only suggestion would be that the home was in need of some TLC. The dining room furniture was falling apart and door knobs were falling off all week but we called maintenance and he was out to the house quickly to repair the door knobs. We will be back next year!

Beautiful House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hands down this is a beautiful house and perfect location. However,there were a few things wrong with the house. One of the fireplaces weren't working, the dining room furniture needs to be replace, and water would leak out from the shower into the bedroom from one of the rooms. Overall, I would recommend this house!

Good times

Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful -- however, there were only 4 or 5 coffee cups in a home that was large -- some mold in the downstairs master and quite a few dead stink bugs and flies through out. The neighbor two doors down had german shepards, not tied up or leashed -- came running over when we were on the docks with friends and one of us was walking down to the dock, a little scary. No home is perfect and this one is just beautiful, just needs to be a little more stocked. The remotes were mixed up, not labeled and some without batteries, took a while to figure it all out, but we did.
