The location was ideal for seeing many of northern Michigan sights. The cottage was a bit cozier than we expected but it was very clean and had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The hosts were very nice. We would definitely stay there again

We had the best family getaway here! The perfect lake side cabin to enjoy Lake Michigan. The location was perfect for our visits to Mackinac Island and City. Would love to visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was amazing, and the views were absolutely stunning. There were so many amenities and thoughtful touches that made it a wonderful place for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest in our group.Meeting the owners made our stay even better. They were such wonderful, kind people and were incredibly helpful and informative, especially with recommendations for local places and things to do.We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming getaway!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Views of the lake were hard to beat, our young kiddos enjoyed playing on the beach in the backyard. The drive to Mackinac city was quick to catch the ferry for a day trip to the island. Easily one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at. We look forward to coming again! :)

The cottage was absolutely charming! We simply loved it! The views, the quiet area, the personal beach, the firepit … it was all fantastic The hosts were wonderful communicators and were very friendly and helpful!

Nice place on the water. It was very clean and host was easy to work with! I will say it was MUCH smaller than anticipated for 4 people. And we ran into some trouble all showering in the evening and running out of hot water. Also something we were not prepared for were the mosquitoes! We couldn’t even enjoy the beach!

Thank you for the review. Sorry you found it to be smaller than you expected, we do have many pictures in our add that are accurate and hopefully give a good idea what is there. We are not sure our water heater at home would keep up with 4 showers back to back. We had a late hatch of midges this year up north due to the long winter and late spring. We believe this is what you experienced on the beach, we left the day you arrived and there were plenty of them. They come every year and are gone quickly, so sorry they happened to be so thick when you were there. They look a lot like mosquitos. The north, especially along the lake deals with them for a short period every spring.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would happily come back! The private sandy shoreline and rock-bottom beach were a highlight for us. The water is shallow and calm, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the water and taking advantage of the kayaks, canoe,The hosts were wonderful and truly thought of everything—outdoor furniture, life jackets, a fire pit, outdoor lighting, and even great local recommendations.One of our favorite things about the propert was how peaceful and private it felt while still being so close to everything. We were only about 7.5 miles from Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Island ferry, which made exploring the area so convenient. The nearby outpost was also a lifesaver for anything we needed, and their pizza was surprisingly amazing!If you enjoy hiking, Wilderness State Park is only about 3 miles away and offers a variety of trails and beautiful Lake Michigan views. We loved having so many outdoor activities right at our fingertips.The bedrooms are definitely on the small side, but they were perfectly adequate for our stay. And honestly, the beachside family room more than made up for it! With all the windows and gorgeous views of the lake, it was such a wonderful space to gather, relax, and enjoy the setting.And the night sky…WOW! The combination of the quiet location, outdoor lighting, fire pit, and incredible stars made the evenings especially memorable.This property gave us exactly what
