Come relax at Seashell Getaway! A delightful coastal cottage with breathtaking beach and bay views!

The soothing coastal decor, cottage ceilings, and comfortable furnishings provide an absolutely tranquil getaway! Seashell Getaway has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and is just a short walk to the beach. Amazing views of both the ocean and bay!

Seashell Getaway has an open living, dining, and kitchen area with wood floors through out the home. The first guest room has a full bath and a queen size bed. The second guest room has a queen bed and a gorgeous day bed with trundle. This room also has a full bath and includes a washer and dryer.

The living room has a flat screen TV, cable and blue ray player with internet connection. Phone and internet are available to guests. Stay connected via Wi-fi!

The fully equipped kitchen has a large breakfast bar in addition to the dining table with seating for 6 people.

Enjoy the amazing views from the lower deck, offering 1000 square feet of outdoor living space, with great views of the beach and the Audubon Sanctuary. The deck also has plenty of deck furniture providing seating and a comfortable gathering area for friends and family. The concrete patio below also has a sand shower.

Have a campfire at the beach (yes, this is allowed on Bolivar Peninsula!) fish at nearby Rollover Pass, or just kick back and relax!

Nearby, a must see for all, is Houston Audubon's Bird Sanctuary in High Island - just 5 miles from Seashell Getaway.

Galveston Island is a short drive and a ferry ride away and offers every kind of entertainment imaginable! Shopping on the Strand, amusement and water parks, museums, fine or casual dining, antique shops, golfing, biking and water sports to mention a few. Visit Galveston's new Pleasure Pier, tour the historical district, take in all Moody Gardens has to offer or visit the Schitterbahn Indoor/Outdoor Water park.

Please note that our home is not directly on the beach. The beach is across the street with no other properties between us and the water. Our association owns a beachfront lot across the street from our home, you can walk or drive right to the beach.

This was our 4th time staying here and once again, it did not disappoint. The things that keep us coming back: the cleanliness of the house, the view of the ocean, the way we can relax on the lower deck, the fact that there are not crowds of people on this part of the beach, the comfy and cozy feel of the house, and the communication with the host. I can assure we’ll return again!

Family Beach Trip

Our family loved this house! It has everything you need to enjoy your time on the beach! Loved both decks and the outdoor shower to rinse off after walking back from the beach. Kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. The views from both decks were stunning - and the breeze on the second deck was amazing!

Anniversary get away

Amazing house with just as amazing views! We loved having both the upper and lower deck to relax on at different times of the day and night. The house was decorated so cute and had everything we needed and more, and was peaceful and quiet there too. We had the beach almost exclusively to ourselves! Couldn’t have been better!

High Island Getaway

Wonderful, clean house with a view of the beach. Great balcony to sit on while enjoying a morning coffee. Property owner very responsive to any questions you may have and wants you to enjoy your stay at the beach.

Good time

Loved the cabin it was beautiful. Location was great. And the view was fabulous. They had everything at our fingertips for any need we had from cute dinnerware to bug spray,beach towels,movies and games. We will definitely be back.

Don't miss this great place to stay!

This is our first stay at this property, but one of many to the area. We will only use this location from now on! Beautiful spot with all the amenities you need, gorgeous view, and super relaxing. Close to town to get what you need, but far enough out from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. The owner is fantastic on communication. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great Accommodation with a Ocean View

This property has a fantastic view, which we loved. The house was immaculate and clean. Stephanie is friendly and the best host! She kept in contact 24/7. We have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly staying here. We will be back and can definitely suggest this house to visitors with a small family. Dont miss out on this gem!

We really wanted to stay a little more off the beaten path, having previously stayed in Crystal Beach and various places on Galveston Island, and this house was absolutely wonderful. Panoramic views of the Gulf, direct beach access right across the road, and not much other human traffic., it was perfect. The house was clean, very spacious for us, with anything we could ask for for amenities. We particularly loved the two decks. Highly highly recommended!

Great Stay for a short weekend

We had a good stay for the weekend! If there is a heavy rain before your stay make sure to bring lots of bug spray as would be anywhere in the area! House is great! We loved sitting outside and drinking our coffee in the morning and margaritas at night!

Relaxing Family Getaway

We spent a long weekend at Seashell Getaway to reset before school starts next week. My girls (9) and (4) loved having their own room and being right across from the beach. Everything was as described or even better. I knew the house would have towels and kitchen supplies, but literally had everything we could need from paper towels, dog bowls, bug spray, laundry detergent, and board games. The only negatives were mosquitoes that swarmed us, but again there was bug spray which helped until we could go to the store and get our own. We hope to visit again!

I grew up spending many weekends and summers fishing at Rollover Pass with my dad. Camping, cooking on a Coleman stove and waking up to the fresh ocean breeze was breathtaking. The many days and nights spent there are life-time memories I cherish wholeheartedly.

The purchase of Seashell Getaway was a blessing. My wife and I enjoy the beach and the natural beauty God created. We want our children and grandchildren to enjoy and build sweet memories of fishing and spending time at the beach as I did growing up.

Hopefully, you and your family will build precious memories at Seashell Getaway as well.
