7th floor view with a good size patio. Walk across the street to the beach.I also chose this condo because they except dogs. Condo was very clean. Beds were super comfy. It had your basic kitchen plates and pans but it could use a larger skillet pain. Bring your own spices and I was a little disappointed that there were no toiletries…shampoo etc. The couch’s really need to be replaced, a little worn and very low to the ground. My son and I stayed 3 nights.

Older condo but clean and great location. Beautiful view of the beach and gulf. Dog friendly. Only a few steps from the beach. Only negative was the traffic noise from the Seawall Blvd. But, I gladly sacrificed the noise for the proximity to the beach and great view from the balcony.

This was a weekend getaway for relaxing and your place was perfect. Not to mention Mother Nature knew we were coming because we got beautiful blue water and big amazing views of the moon. It was very comfortable and clean. We will be back.

Excellent View and Location

This location is perfect for my son and me. We have stayed in this building before and have chosen it for the floor to ceiling windows and balcony. This condo had a nautical theme which we liked very much. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels and adequate kitchen utensils and dishes. We would definitely stay there again.

"By the Sea" had everything you would need for a family getaway. The staff on the front desk were helpful and genuinely interested in the guests. Both beds and bathrooms were great. The beach is just across the road, well kept and free from litter. Restaurants for all tastes. We enjoyed a drone light show in the center of Galveston on Labor Day. Although the weather was very wet we enjoyed the clouds and the rainbows that it produced. especially from the 7th floor. Took some great pictures ,we all had a great time.

Great time!

Lovely, comfortable condo with most everything needed for a week’s stay, including thoughtful electronic charging stations in the condo. Well maintained property, friendly staff, nice pool area and beautiful landscaping. Wonderful gulf view away from the chaos and crowds on the East end of the island. Thanks for a great time!

Great location

Easy access to the beach, seemed to be less crowded than other places. AC had a hard time keeping up but ceiling fans helped out with that.

Beautiful view in a perfect location!

We love to visit Galveston and this was our first time at this unit. Check in was so easy! The unit was clean and easy to access. The view is even better in person. Lots of space with a real home like feel. The front desk staff were very friendly and clear about any expectations. The property was clean and well taken care of. The beds were so comfy too! We loved that trash pick up was right outside the door twice a day. The walk to the beach took seconds it was amazing. The washer and dryers were on the first floor but very easy to use with an app on your phone and credit card. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

Loved the location, but…

The location was amazing, but the elevator rarely worked and hiking up 7 flights of stairs did physically impact some of our party. The air conditioner in our unit was not up to par, the unit was relatively warm. The owner of the unit was awesome though. The front desk personell were amazing

Mike and Sandy have been married 56 years...Four grown children and five grandchildren. Sandy is a retired hairstylist and salon owner in the Hurst. Bedford Euless area and Mike is a retired Producer of the Texas Family Musicals which produces the Galveston Summer Musicals at Moody Gardens. and in three theaters in the DFW area. They live in Bedford, Texas when not working in Galveston during the summer. Both are avid cruise enthusiasts who take 3-4 cruises out of Galveston each year

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We love it and never get tired of it...After all these years, the view is overwhelming. We love to watch the waves from our sofa.. It has all the amenities that we would ever pool, gas grills, tennis courts, laundry in the building, 24 hour security and a community coffee room downstairs. Even during the winter, we bundle up and sit on the balcony while enjoying our morning coffee. We try to have everything available to insure we and our guests have a very enjoyable stay...i.e 3 flat screen TVs, cable TV and wifi. We enjoy the private parking and having the beach just across the street.
Each bedroom has a queen memory foam bed that we thoroughly enjoy. The two full baths is a real luxury also!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We think that the view is the best view in Galveston. You can sit on the balcony with a panoramic view of the Gulf and watch dolphins jump, people swim and seagulls and pelicans dive. It has a quiet family atmosphere but plenty of things to do for the children. It is just five minutes away from the Water Park and Moody Gardens.
