Plenty of cookware and dishes. Tea/coffee station. Electric "nabe" hot pots, electric "tako-yaki" makers, pots, pans, condiments and all the little items guests might need.

✓ Tatami room & sunroom: 6-mat room makes for a lovely living room and futon space. The sunroom has a dining table for two and is "kotatsu" style, meaning it is heated and has a comforter. Room to store your luggage.

✓ White shoji paper doors separate the tatami from the long "engawa" sunroom. "Yuki-mi shoji" style meaning the bottom half can be lifted to reveal glass windows. Traditionally, in upper-class homes these "snow viewing" doors were in place so people could sit at the warm, low tables in the tatami room and watch it snow.
