The Red Door Bungalow is a delightful three bedroom, two bath cottage just a few blocks from Fredericksburg's famous Main Street shops, restaurants and art galleries. The cottage is decorated in upscale urban-chic style and offers that clean, refreshing feeling that today's guest is seeking.
As you enter the cottage, you will appreciate the large open kitchen with high-end appliances, combined with a large, sunny dining area. Directly behind, you will find a spacious, comfortable den with a large flat screen streaming television. The bungalow's split floorplan includes a beautiful master suite off the den, offering peace and privacy. The master includes a beautiful king size bed, sitting area, and large flat screen television. It also boasts a huge en suite bathroom that includes a large walk in shower as well as his and hers vanities.
Off the kitchen you will find the other two bedrooms which share a bath. One bedroom includes a queen size bed, and the other includes two twins. They share a bathroom that has a tub/shower combination.
The Bungalow is excellent for couples or small groups of up to six individuals. If you are looking for a clean, modern, spacious Texas vacation rental close to Main Street, then the Red Door Bungalow in Fredericksburg is just the place for you!

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Great home for girls trip

Perfect location for a walk to Main Street. Enjoyed the living area for some morning football games and coffee. Comfy beds and a cold AC, we slept great! Would definitely stay here again.

Mostly very good but needs some improvement.

Location was nice, safe and quiet area. Not dog friendly outside with yard not enclosed. Didn't use yard much because of that, but would have needed to clean tables, chairs and cushions to do so. Amenities were very good and all spaces cozy and comfortable. Needed a deep cleaning! Floors, some walls, air flow intake, kitchen cabinets (especially those most used and inside under sink). In master bath, light out over vanity. Also in master bath, mineral build up in shower head and both sink aerators. Needed to be cleaned or replaced as water flow was not good.

Perfect for Family or Girls' Getaway in Fredericksburg!

We loved our stay!

The house was lovely and we appreciated all the supplies already provided. We were able to walk to the shopping area . The only negative (and I don't know what you could do to prevent it) was our car was covered in bird poop each morning - we just made our first stop the car wash! Thanks so much for the hospitality.

Family Trip

We came in town with my family and mom to visity Wildseed Farms, Das Peach Haus and Main street. It was awesome! Not to mention the beds were VERY comfortable and we really enjoyed the variety of birds in the back yard. We will be back for sure!

Great place, very roomy and nice. Beautiful kitchen and beds were very comfy. Dog friendly and big yard. quiet neighborhood, close to everything. Many amenities! Easy process, check in and out. Had a great time!

Enjoyed our visit

We had a short family visit to Fredericksburg and this place fit our needs perfectly. A little far from Main Street but you can still hear the music at night from the fire pit in the backyard. Lovely!

Red Door Bungalow

Our stay at Red Door Bungalow was a respite amidst the storm of an unexpected re-plumbing of our entire home (as locals here in FBG). This home worked out perfectly, and we are so appreciative of Absolute Charm and this welcoming home. We highly recommend both. The lot where this home is located is beautiful. The location is fantastic. The primary bedroom and bath of this home are most excellent. We highly recommend booking this property; we thank you for the last minute booking and most excellent accommodations.

50th Anniversary

Was in town for an anniversary party at a winery. The house is not walking distance to the main st. But very close. The backyard is gorgeous. The master bedroom is secluded!

Good

Home was perfect size and had what we needed. Would have liked to get in 20 minutes early when we got there but it worked out fine. You should provide a sheet of instructions as we have seen in most air bnbs. We took out the trash, ran the dishwasher and stripped the beds as we usually do for other places. Someone should look at the ceilîg crack (Provided photo) as it is a structural issue.

Convenient location

The location of the home was very good. The home was very clean and the yard was great for our small dog. Check in time was 4PM which is later than most homes we have rented. We had a light over the dining area that did not work and when reported it was immediately fixed, so would rated the service as excellent.

Girls Weekend!

We stayed 2 nights for a girls weekend and had plenty of room. The beds, towels, bathrooms, and pillows were all so comfortable. We loved the giant leather sectional couch for movie night and the large table for game night. We had a blast watching TV on the large screen in the living room and master bedroom. We loved the sheets, blankets, and overall decor. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals and bake desserts! Very nice grass in the back yard, but would have loved to have had a hot tub or updated patio with yard games. *We did have to buy dish washing liquid and a dish sponge from the store to wash our dishes, but everything else was provided. (the house had shampoo and soap in shower, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and laundry detergent) Plenty of blankets and extra pillows were provided. They even had floor fans in the closet in case you needed it. Air conditioner work EXCELLENT! Bring socks for the wood floors, a very nice floor plan for everyone to have their own space! Such a beautiful place to stay!

Spring break chillin

The house was spacious and very comfortable for our group. It was centrally located; so getting around Fredericksburg was quite easy. Would definitely stay again! My only suggestion would be for management to check ceiling fans and lamps. Several lightbulbs were either missing or not working. Otherwise, great place!

Great, clean house with all inside amenities needed. Add a hot tub and a driveway gate (keep the pup in the yard) and it would be ideal.
