Our farm is the place to stay for when you want to escape! We have thought of everything so once you arrive, all you need to do is relax and have fun!
Our farmhouse is located on 130 acres. Greeted by sweeping verandahs, our immaculately presented main house farm comprises of 4 bedrooms, master with en-suite and WIR, bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 all with BIRs. Family bathroom and laundry, large open plan kitchen and meals area with solid wood fire, adjacent to the sunlit formal lounge and dining. The hole house has ducted heating and refrigerated cooling throughout.

Private unit attached to the house is also available to guests if you would like to accomodate for 9 or more guests or provide a seperate zone for part of your guests. The unit comprises of one bedroom with open plan kitchen/meals/living area and bathroom incorporated into the bedroom. The unit has ducted heating and refrigerated cooling throughout. To include the unit in booking, you will need to book for 10 guests so the price of $150 extra per night is incorporated (the unit will not be accessible during your stay otherwise). Please advise if 10 guests will not be staying during your stay and you have only made booking of 10 to have access to both houses.

Part of the beauty of being at our farm is having 130 acres to yourself!
Roam the open paddocks, climb to the top of the hill for some spectacular views, feed and observe our livestock, enjoy a swim in the pool, the list is never ending, there is so much on offer here!

While most of the farm land is available for your use, we only ask you to refrain from entering the shed onsite and refrain from entering the paddocks where livestock are located. Please keep these paddocks closed at all times for the animals safety.

Enjoy the best of both worlds! Boasting panoramic views and only a short drive from Kilmore's main Street (Sydney Street), our farm offers the finest in convenient rural living.

Kilmore, Sydney Street is located approximately within a five minute drive from the property. Sydney street provides many retail shops, grocery shops, dining and entertainment. Some major stores include Coles, Aldi, Celebrations, Mitre10 to name a few.

Kilmore is home to the famous Kilmore racecourse and scenic golf course. Be sure to visit any or both if you have the time.

If attractions is your thing, Victoria's oldest inland town, Kilmore features a collection of historic buildings and entertainment for you to view and enjoy. These include;
Post office (built in 1863)
Court house (1864)
Former police barracks (1892)
Former town hall (1894)
Whitburgh Cottage (1853)
The Old Kilmore Gaol (1859)
Monument Hill look out tower

Some notes regarding the farm:

We have a very strict no party policy. Breaking of the rule will result in immediate termination of booking with no refund provided for remaining stay.
The pool is not heated.
We provide a charcoal barbecue for use but ask guests to bring along own charcoal if they would like to use the Webber. Gas bbq is also available.
The mainhouse has ducted heating and refrigerated cooling throughout.
There is good coverage of mobile reception and NBN wifi connection is available for use.
Smart TV is available.
A barrel of wood is supplied for check-in at no cost. Top up fees do apply if more wood is required.
Only smaller pets and selective type of pets/breeds are allowed to the farm. We do not have an outdoor gated off section for dogs and all dogs must be on a leash when outdoors to protect our livestock. Please discuss any pets you have that you would like to bring along prior to booking to check if we would allow your pet to stay. It is the responsibility of pet owners to clean up after own pets.

A rural escape close to the city
3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again.

Peaceful beautiful location
We had a great time at Poloma Farm. The house is spacious and comfortable with attractive decor. The beds were were super comfy and we enjoyed relaxing in the pool while looking at the hills. The views from the top of the property were a highlight. Next time we need a week!

Amazing relaxing stay in stunning surrounds!
We had a fantastic winter weekend stay with friends at this property. The kids loved the farm animals & the space to run around! The views were just beautiful & made for a very relaxing weekend by the outside fire. We didn’t venture far at all which was perfect. The house is warm & cosy with everything you need for an easy stay. We’ll be back!

Great family stay
The property has everything you could need for a family group. We had 8 adults and 3 small children and we enjoyed everything that was offered. The place could do with a could clean. The furniture in main room is fabric and needs thorough cleaning. There is only 6 chairs for a place catering for 10. One of the queen beds was terribly hard and couldn’t be slept on but the other beds were good. Overall the property has fantastic views, animals the little ones loved and everything you could need.
