This amazing and relaxed beach-front house is located right on Santa Clara beach. Basically your lawn is right on the beach... Step out from your beautiful green grass sun deck, onto the white sand and blue sea. Located in the fishing community of Santa Clara, this rustic, charming easy house, with a wide 16 meter access to the beach, has all the basic comforts within the luxury of a well kept secret.

Forget about manicures, fine clothes or socializing… And immerse yourself in this "third world-magical-therapeutic" experience. With its practical and nicely set-up rooms and bathrooms, a great and simple kitchen, and a roofed outdoors living and dining room, your family vacation at this most beloved Santa Clara property, will be an unforgettable one.

At just a short 1.5 hours drive from Panama City, and a 10 minute drive from the convenience of the nearest town of Río Hato, the Santa Clara "Los Pescadores" street lies with its 20 local fisherman family houses and its 4 weekend family properties, all facing the sea. Two "rancho" style restaurants, a charming multigrade school and a "kiosco" mini store for (very) basic items, make up the single strip of lots that have made up this community since the 1940's. Take a "panga" ride with the locals to the "Farallón" bird-island, watch the fishermen arrive after a day's fishing, stroll on the beach for kilometers of pristine pacific beach, or ask the neighbor for a fun adventure on his floating banana boat for your teenagers or kids.

Having been Santa Clara property owners since the 1980's, it excites us to see others discover this amazing coastal treasure. Let the sound of the waves wake you to the sun, and hypnotize you under the moon.

Beautiful beach

This was our first time booking an international VRBO and Mariana couldn't have been more helpful. We rented a car at the airport and followed the Waze directions to her house in Panama City to pick up the keys. The beach house is about an hour and a half from the city. Grocery shopping is very easy and convenient in Coronado. We ate out almost every dinner at Los Camarones, a delicious restaurant about fifteen minutes from the house. In the morning, Roselia was available to prepare breakfast for us. The beach is beautiful and pretty empty during the week. On the weekend, it can get much busier as there is a restaurant/bar next to the property. But, the kids enjoyed playing in the ocean and the accommodations were wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Beach House

Very nice relaxing location, the beach is right out of the back door. We spent 10 great days there. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining is outdoors. The layout is a little different in that each bedroom is separate and accessible only from the outside. They are not connected by an internal hallway. Each room has its own complete bathroom. The rooms appear to be set up with a main bed and an additional bed perfect for families. One room is a separate cabana which is nice to give extra personal space. It is about 1.5-2 hours from PTY airport and a rental car is a must to enjoy the area. If you arrive PTY after sunset, I would stay in Panama City and drive to the house in the daytime. On a dark and/or rainy night this could be a stressful drive and maybe a little tricky to find.. If you really want to explore the hills and mountains, consider a small or large SUV as the roads are not good for compact cars in the hills. A large supermarket is only a few km away. Watch your speed limits which are usually 60-80 km/hr. The police are very active along the roads.

Excellent Beach Paradise

Fantastic beach house with so many cool features and amenities. This is a place I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Spacious and comfortable house on a relatively undeveloped stretch of beach.

This house was just what we were looking for. Ample accommodations for our family of 8 (could easily have had 2 more) right on the beach nestled among fishing boats and beach side restaurants. The stretch of beach is perfect for long walks or runs. The layout of the house includes a large covered patio with an outdoor dining area as well as 3 other sitting areas plus a generous lawn with more sitting/lounging areas and numerous hammocks. The bed rooms (5) each have their own bathroom and are all air conditioned. The kitchen is adequately stocked and there is great food shopping nearby. Perfect set up for children and grounds are well cared for. The final asset is the hostess who is so helpful and gracious and made our stay completely delightful.

Paradise property right on the beach

Paradise on the beach in Santa Clara, Panamá. Spectacular, beautiful, well appointed, many bedroom, many bathroom home right on the Pacific Ocean beach. This property is very clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. And, if you don’t want to cook, a five minute walk up the beach provide you with outstanding local fried fish and other delicious food and drink. Most importantly, owners are lovely, accommodating and interested in making sure that your stay is the best it could possibly be. Lots of activities on the beach to choose from including banana boat rides and snorkeling trips to a nearby island . Great for families with children (ours were six, nine and 11) and they wished we could’ve stayed longer.
