Marrowstone Cottage is a fully equipped private house with its own driveway and a large porch with beautiful views. The porch is a great place to enjoy your favorite book or you can be outside to hike, kayak, beach-comb, bike or explore nature with all of our waterfowl, eagles, otters, and seals. You can also find an eclectic variety of shops, great food, and entertainment in Port Townsend which is a scenic 25-minute drive. Enjoy the evenings back at the cottage with all of the inside amenities.

We loved our time in the cottage. It is now our favorite place to stay on Marrowstone when visiting family there.

Beautiful cottage

This little spot is an excellent getaway for 2–4 people. The house is well done and has everything you need. The hosts are lovely. We had a great stay. Can’t wait to go back!!

We loved our stay here. When we arrived, everything was pristine, and our hosts gave us clear directions for check-in. The kitchen had everything we needed (even a vegetable peeler!). The view of the water is really nice, and we enjoyed sunsets from the porch. My 5-year-old fondly named it the Port House, since it has a port window in the loft :). I would highly recommend this place to others!

Lovely Cottage!

Spotlessly clean, very cute, and had all the amenities we needed. Very communicative hosts made check-in easy. Also one of the easiest checkout processes we’ve had at a rental property. We loved staying her while exploring Marrowstone Island.

Delightful get-away

This wonderful, well appointed rental on a very quiet dead in road was perfect for my wife and I. The owners were quite helpful and friendly, and it is a place that we will return to. Marrowstone Island is peaceful and beautiful, and a joy to visit.

Beautiful home and lovely hosts

This home is wonderful. Everything you need for an excellent getaway. The yard, view, and surrounding area are beautiful and peaceful and the home is comfortable and well furnished. The hosts are lovely people with great communication. Amazing place - would love to stay again!

A little bit of heaven

Beautiful, peaceful setting with a great view. Chris and Kristy try in every way to make this a special stay. Beds are comfy, pillows even moreso, towels luxurious. All the little touched from fresh ground coffee to a bottle of local wine and fresh cut flowers are testimony to their care and concern for their guests.

Breezy Marrowstone Retreat

This place was such a treat! The online listing definitely captures the view from this sweet little house. Windows on all sides of the house were ideal, and helped fill the home with cool breezes throughout our stay. The beds are comfortable and nicely made with clean crisp bedding, the bathroom is stocked with plenty of plush towels and washcloths. The kitchen is simple and well appointed with full size appliances, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The ladder/stairs to the upstairs loft bedroom would be a bit tricky for some, but are sturdy and have great handles, and a sign to remind those who use it how to safely climb up there :) Our 7 year old loved her loft bedroom. Communication with our host was simple and sweet. Easy to reach via text/call/email. My only wish is that I could bring my well behaved dogs here for a stay in the future... I highly recommend this place to any people considering staying on Marrowstone.

Great stay beautiful location

Everything about our stay was charming. From the moment that we drove up and heard classical music wafting Through the Windows we knew that we had to come to the perfect weekend to get away. We were delighted to be greeted by beautiful flowers a bottle of wine and cookies. What a treat! Everything is sweet and compact. It was perfect for three little old ladies who like to paint and make jewelry. I would recommend this place to anyone. For some reason we thought that there was a hot tub. There isn't. I'm not sure how we got that idea. Otherwise this place was well appointed and beautifully maintained. I would recommend it to anybody, just leave a weekend open for me!

Great location and beautiful property - can't wait to go back!

I fell in love with the views from this property from the listing and the reality was even better. From our arrival to departure, the hosts were incredible about communicating with me and making sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. In addition to providing spotless accommodations and having everything fully stocked for us, they took the time to open the cottage up for us for our arrival, so that all we had to do was bring our luggage in and make ourselves at home. A great spot from which to explore the Olympic Peninsula! I would book again and recommend to all my friends and family.

Perfect peaceful getaway!

This is the sweetest little cottage and was perfect for our group of 3 friends. The cottage is clean, comfy, and extremely cozy. It's well equipped with everything you might need, and just a short drive to a range of area eateries and excursions (while still feeling very private and secluded). I highly recommend and will definitely return! Thank you Chris & Kristy for a truly wonderful and rejuvinating stay.

Great cottage with a perfect view

When we arrived the porch lights were on and music playing inside, which made it feel home-y and it was easy to find the cottage even though we arrived after dark. Spectacular view of the bay to the west and more than enough amenities for our 6 day honeymoon. A wonderful island and we would absolutely stay here again!

Best VRBO Ever!

The title says it all! The hosts were not only great in pre/during/post trip communications but they literally thought of everything here. From the code door entry, to the goodies on the counter when you arrive to soft music playing to the lantern lights on all throughout the house made the arrival second to none! There were plenty of the essentials and two jars of coffee waiting to be had! The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on outside of our house and everything was new and updated. I would not hesitate to to recommend this little cottage to anyone and everyone!!! Thank you again for the great stay and if/when we ever travel back this way, you can count on us staying here again!

Amazing views, impeccable details, a cozy and inviting stay

My husband and our young daughter had the delightful opportunity to stay at Kristy & Chris's Marrowstone Cottage. The photos don't do this place justice with how bright and airy, naturally lit, wonderfully decorated and designed, and jaw dropping views of the bay are from the large covered front porch. We enjoyed waking up each morning and peeping out the porthole to the bay and cozying up under the thoughtfully provided blankets with our coffee. The kitchen is equipped with all imaginable amenities you need to make fresh ground coffee, whip up dinner on the KitchenAid stove, or enjoy the thoughtfully gifted bottle of wine (thank you!). If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay close to beautiful beaches and Port Townsend, look no further. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great spot and Comfortable stay

Very clean, well-appointed, cozy cottage. Appreciate all the extra touches. Easy communication with host. We didn’t have time to check out Marrowstone and spent most of our time exploring Port Townsend and some nearby farms, location was prefect. Thanks again for a lovely stay!
