"Crow's Nest" is a stunning Sanibel gem that is tucked back in the desirable Sanibel Bayous neighborhood featuring the Gulf in your backyard!

This gorgeous home features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a large, open floor plan and the most exceptional outdoor living space to enjoy daily and is truly the epitome of island living. Boasting stunning bamboo floors, a beautiful custom kitchen open to the living room, and a large southern exposure deck are only a few of the attributes that make this a truly remarkable home. Perfectly designed, it integrates the outdoors beautifully. The home also sits adjacent to Bowmans Beach, a well-worn grass path leads directly from the house to Sanibel's incredible west end beaches without ever crossing a road. The beach is literally in the back yard! Native vegetation abounds, providing great privacy, wildlife sightings, and tropical greenery.

Home amenities include: 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms -- 2 King bed, 2 Queen beds & 2 Twin size pull-out chair beds (sleeps 10), Smart TVs (streaming only), WIFI available, heated pool & spa, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ gas grill. Pets considered (Dogs only). Bed linens and bath towels included. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are provided for added convenience.

Incidental Damage Benefit - We understand accidents happen! Every booking with Sanibel Vacations includes protection for those incidental accidents causing damage to the property. Applies to incidental damage only with limits. Details in rental agreement.

Please note: ALL of our Single Family Homes require a 28 day minimum rental period per the city of Sanibel. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 8 people.

Reviewer Comments: Excellent location, accommodation, a lovely pool, walk for miles in either direction on Bowman's Beach, the bike path, the shells, the weather, friendly/quiet neighborhood. Would definitely rent this home and/or through SBL again!

Our Spa Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We left the beautiful mountains and snow of Colorado for a quiet, warm, family beach vacation. We got it! Favorite activity while at Crow’s Nest....every evening before sunset we took our binoculars up to the crow’s nest and watched the family of osprey grow and mature.

Good location

Good location, not far from the beach. There’s a room closed off inside the house however that has a light which comes on nightly. No outside bathroom access. Might be in another closed off space. Not horrible to walk upstairs and back into the house for the restroom from the pool, but not convenient either. Enjoyed the nearby bike path.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second t9me for us in this house. We love it and have rented it for March, 2023. that said, there are a couple of things that we noted as "tired". Broken chairs, old and chipped cutlery, a kitchen faucet that sprays too far out getting you wet, ... general condition issues like that. Nothing big.

A perfect stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Crow's Nest. The home was perfect, well-appointed, and immaculate. The screened in pool area was spacious and beautiful! The neighborhood is lovely and quiet with kind neighbors. Everything was exactly as described and shown in photos. The property rental company was awesome, helpful, and super responsive. The location was perfect (about 10 minute walk to the beach or 5 minute bike ride). There is a path right by the house which goes to Bowman's Beach Park. We rented bikes from the Sanibel Vacations which was super convenient (highly recommend!). The home is equidistant from both downtown Captiva and Sanibel. We enjoyed that the Ding Darling Refuge dropped out right near the neighborhood entrance. We would ABSOLUTELY return to this house upon another trip to Sanibel. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

It was a quick walk or bike to Bowman's beach, which was perfect for us! Also worth noting that the home was spotless upon our arrival, which is incredible important during this time.
