Picture yourself lounging on one of two decks, listening to the relaxing sound of a stream nearby. You are surrounded by two acres of totally private land yet only minutes to Killington's famous Access Road! All this can be yours at the Mill Stream House! Located off Route 100, right next to the GREEN MOUNTAIN NATIONAL Golf Course and preservation land! The Access Road and Mountain are five minutes away.

This unique home was custom built specifically for this beautiful location: It is built into a hill overlooking a flowing river and next to an old dam that was a working wood mill before it was washed out in the flood in early 1900's, built of oversized fieldstone--this is a beautiful lot!

The home features large spread out bedrooms, in custom colors with great views from large windows. Sleeps 10 in beds. 2 Spacious, bathrooms. 2 floors of living for privacy- One smaller living area downstairs with tv, and one large living room with cathedral ceilings, wall of glass, gorgeous views outside and beautiful field stone fireplace..

NEW: 2021-honed granite kitchen counter, 2021 new re-finished bamboo flooring in living room and dining room, 2021 almost entire inside of property painted designer colors

PLEASE READ***MID-WEEK nights are $600/night for the rent plus fees. So Sun, Mon & Tues night would be $1800 plus fees over the winter. $400 a night mid-week over the spring, summer and fall. Site will not calculate just a mid-week stay properly but if you prefer this I can manually adjust the price*** If you are booking a stay and it includes a Fri & Sat nights in it the site will calculate the rent and fees correctly.

The house and surroundings are beautiful; we especially enjoyed the main room with the cathedral ceilings and fireplace and the view of the backyard with a stream running below the deck. It was very comfortable and cozy for our extended family (9 of us). Could have easily been a larger group (didn't use all the beds). The drive to Killington from the house is easy (10-15 minutes - can stop at the market on the way home or at Liquid Art for coffee in the morning). Would definitely come back (with towels this time). To note: I had no cell service but the wifi worked very well. The host was attentive and saw we had not noticed the 3 thermostats and helped heating up the house for us. He was also very receptive on ways to improve the experience for future guests. Overall a great stay; we'd be happy to come back.

This house was beautiful and spaceous. The location was stunning. It was comfortably large. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room made the backyard view of the stream and woods a highlight of the stay

the location was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful The living room with the fireplace and kitchen were very comfortable for a big groupThe downside is that the house is really lacking maintenance in the bedrooms and bathrooms

Great property for a group

Property is great and the pictures are an accurate reflection of the property. The views out of the windows are amazing - truly a unique experience. Was here with a group of 10 adults and there was ample space and sleeping areas (everyone had their own bed). The proximity to Killington is also awesome - less than 10 minutes by car. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful & Fun

Very cool spot. Super convenient to Killington Ski area, about 10 minutes or so. Love the streams in the back going right under the deck. All you need for a good getaway with family & friends.

Great spot to enjoy Killington skiing!

Great house for a group of us to ski all day and hang out in the hot tub and make dinner each night. Weā€™d rebook next time weā€™re going to Killington. Property contact very responsive.

Great Ski House!

Awesome house for a group skiing trip. Downstairs is optimized for max sleeping and upstairs has a nice open kitchen/living room layout. Short 10/15 min drive to either Killington or Pico

Great Stay

We had a great 3 night stay. It was a perfect location close to Killington yet tucked away in a private setting. The owner is very responsive to questions. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. The house was clean and spacious for our group of 9. My kids enjoyed the games and puzzles. We will definitely be back.

Great place for a large group

Terrific property to spend time with a large group. Everyone was very comfortable. Clean and spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor areas. Loved the hot tub. Great central location with easy drive to other attractions in VT. Would stay again with a large group during ski season. Jeremy was very easy to communicate with.

Annual Family Ski Vacation February 2022

We had a wonderful stay for our annual family ski vacation. The home was very clean upon arrival. The home has a beautiful view of the stream and woods from the living room. A very cozy home with a beautiful fireplace! We had no issues and would consider staying here again.

Proximity to Killington Resort

Very close to the access road to Killington. The place was large enough to hold 2 parents, adult children and grandchild nicely. The place needs a deep cleaning, I was disappointed in the cleanliness and the lack of upkeep of this VRBO. Bring bottled water to drink, the well water is very hard. Like other reviews the parking is tight.

Great ski getaway

Our group of 10 adults and kids really enjoyed our stay at Millstream house which had plenty of space for all of us, was in great proximity to the mountain (10 min) and provided a fully stocked kitchen which allowed us to enjoy meals every night. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and space to play. The backyard with fire pit and stream was amazing and would be great fun to enjoy in the summer as well. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer after a full day of skiing. We also really enjoyed the indoor fire place. A great place for a large group - weā€™re looking forward to returning next year.

Long Weekend of Relaxing

A group of friends and my husband and I usually go camping but with the pandemic, decided to find a rental that would work for us. Jeremy's place was perfect! Not too remote but private enough, with beautiful nature surrounds and a wonderful river sounds to enjoy. The space was clean and large enough for us all to gather and play games, lounge with our dogs and hangout on the deck. Morning walks to enjoy coffee at the fire pit was wonderful as well. We will definitely be checking availability here for a future trip!

Fun Family Retreat!

House was in great shape! Room enough to fit our whole family for our family reunion. Plenty of beds and linens were provided. Outdoor space was fun to explore and beautiful with the fall leaves. The stream was serene to listen to. The grill outside was a little rusty so we went out to eat instead of grilling. However, there were so many amazing restaurants to choose from, all minutes away from the house! Owner was very responsive and helpful! Would definitely consider staying here again!

great location

The location of the property was perfect for the wedding we were attending in Pittsfield. There are actually five bedrooms in the house although the listing says 4. Overall, the property was adequate but there are things that need to be done to "freshen up" the interior. While the property was clean there were areas that needed attention. Under the beds needed to be vacuumed, the grill had not been emptied by previous renters and the carpet on the stairs needed cleaning as well. All of that being said we enjoyed our stay and because pets were allowed we would rent it again if we were going to Killington.

Wonderful Respite in the Woods

We just spent a month at Jeremy's place in Killington and were very comfortable. The property sits directly in nature, with running brooks all around. The house was spacious and met all our needs. There were more steps than we realized; and there wasn't as much room for dogs to play off leash without getting into deep woods. Internet/cell service can be spotty, but we found that all over the region. Overall, would recommend the house for family and close friends. We enjoyed wonderful meals around the long dining table and grilling on the deck. It is centrally located for exploring around Vermont - beautiful 100, route 4 to Woodstock and beyond; Route 7 from Middlebury to Manchester. Great place!

House seems to be much more suitable to cooler weather.

Windows are old, some didn't open and many screens were missing. Fans were available but didn't do much when we couldn't open the windows. We also wish that the fire pit had been alittle more accessible. Had to cross a stream and small swampy area to get there. Small ant issue too.

An OK stay.

The house itself was nice, although it was a little shocking how dirty it was!! It just felt gross. Also the trash bins outside were overflowing so much when we arrived that we couldnā€™t close the bins and during our stay an animal got in and tore up the bags. The property had a great view and was very close to the mountain which was convenient. My major problem was how uncomfortable the beds and couches were (think IKEA but worse). It is clear this is a rental property left forgotten and lacking TLC. It was an ok stay- definitely not worth the ā€œluxuryā€ price itā€™s advertised at.

Girls Weekend

We went to this location for a girls weekend and it was great for the occasion. The overall stay is 4/5. The listing was accurate and very spacious. It had a nice outdoor space and the layout inside was ideal. I did not receive the check in email prior. If I had, we would have been more prepared with extra paper towels, toilet paper, bed linens / blankets, etc. Also, there was no phone service outside of wi-fi. The wi-fi worked well for everyone, but just an fyi for gps and safety purposes to know prior. Other than that, I would recommend this location. :)

Gracious and Fair Host When We Had to Cancel!

We unfortunately had to cancel this trip due to the flu, but despite the "no cancellation" policy, Jeremy was extremely fair and considerate and returned our cleaning and jacuzzi fees! Fortunately, we took out travel insurance, but it only covered the rental and not these incidentals. While it may sound like a given to be returned these fees since no cleaning crew was hired, I am sure that some hosts/owners might have given us a hard time, but Jeremy was prompt and fair. While I can't speak to check in process, cleanliness, etc. since we never checked in, the system won't allow me to submit this review without rating, and I am more than happy to give Jeremey the benefit of the doubt! We hope to rent from him next ski season!

A cozy mountain home with stunning views

We utilized the Mill Stream House for an annual weekend ski trip and have nothing but great things to say about our stay. We had a group of 12 people and were able to sleep everyone comfortably. Although the home is large it still has that cozy mountain house feeling to it. The home includes a spacious two-story deck with a hot tub, which is much needed after a long day on the slopes. The property itself is incredibly serene and beautiful. Enjoying the views of the stream from the back deck is a great way to start every morning. Jeremy was great through the entire process as well. He was generous and responsive every step of the way. We contacted him during our stay to ask about an issue with the hot tub, and he had his maintenance guy out there the very same day to help us. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone with a large party looking to enjoy their stay at Killington!
