We had the best time! Everything was provides…crab traps, bikes, etc. we can tell the owner loves their place and felt like a warm home! Definitely must stay again!

The house was nice but we were very disappointed with the property. It is advertised as 'Crabbers Cove' but we never got to crab or enjoy the water activities at the house, which was the reason we rented this house. First off, we were extremely upset with the condition of the dock, which was covered with goose poop. You couldn't even walk on it , it was so disgusting. We attempted to clean it ourselves but the water to the dock was shut off. We texted the owner (or Eastern Shore? not sure) about the issues but they didn't send someone to clean it or come to the property to hook up the water. Someone did text back they were checking with a team member and would get back to us. Four hours later they still hadn't returned with a reply so we scrapped our plans for our day on the water and went into town. It was my husband's birthday weekend and we had our kids and our 3 year old granddaughter with us, who were all looking forward to crabbing, canoeing and kayaking but everything was so dirty we couldn't enjoy the things we rented this house to do. After purchasing our own firewood for the the fire pit (we weren't permitted to use the logs at the house) we had to clean all the outdoor chairs that were around the fire pit as they were covered in mold and bird droppings. For the price we paid to rent the house for 3 nights, we felt we were not only overcharged but felt ignored and taken advantage of...needless to say the time at Crabber's Cove was very disappointing.

We really enjoyed the location and scenery. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space. We definitely want to come back.

Superb in every way! The location was excellent. We caught tons of crabs right off the dock (the old fashionedway) with hand lines. The water taxi picked us up right at the dock to take us out to another boat for sunset cruise. We had a fabulous time!!!

Beautiful Waterfront Property

We really enjoyed this property. It had everything we would want and plenty of space. It was very clean and quiet. The water, fire-pit, porch and living spaces were wonderful for a nice long-weekend get-away!

I cannot say enough about this property. Home was so spacious, views were wonderful, kitchen was very well stocked and just minutes to town. Highly recommend renting this home.

Beautiful respite

The house is welcoming, with several different seating areas inside and out. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and the chairs by the water. Kitchen is very well equipped. The property is about a mile and a half walk to St. Michael’s. The management company is quite responsive.

This is a hidden gem in St. Michaels. We loved the privacy that you get. Lovely house with a beautiful yard and waterfront. Absolutely will return. Loved this place.

Fantastic stay at Crabbers Cove!

We all thought the property was even nicer than the pictures represented. The kitchen was well equipped so that we could cook all our food. Everything was in good working order like the kayaks, grill, and all appliances. The house is nicely spread out se we all had lots of room and the screened in porch, heaven!

Eastern Shore Thanksgiving

This house was a very good fit for our family gathering. Well equipped kitchen helped for the T-day meal preps. Weather did not cooperate to allow much use of the wonderful yard. Very private location. Walkable to town but more than a mile each way.

Crabbers Dream

This cute cottage was a perfect fall family get away. We brought our boat and went crabbing and fishing and the kids fished off the dock. The house is fully stocked with all you need. Perfect home away from home. Minutes from town yet far away enough to enjoy the quiet cove and beautiful water views. We definitely will be back! Thanks so much for your hospitality, we love St. Michaels.

Beautiful Location to Visit Historic St Michaels

The location is perfect; we enjoyed evenings sitting by water and relaxing, after a quick few-minute trip to visit St Michael's. The home was perfect for two couples, and can easily support 6 folks.Two bedrooms are masters, and the remaining bedroom is across from the "guest" bathroom. We didn't use cooking utensils, so cannot comment on availability, however, all appliances were modern. We would not hesitate to rent the property again.

Nice home, well appointed

I would generally have given this home 5 stars, but for one issue. The rental company provides fairly strict, fairly detailed rules including those for check-out. However, upon our check-in we found opened food in the refrigerator and dishes in the dishwashers (could not determine if they were clean or dirty). Aside from those, I would consider this as a nice home with many perks!

Beyond Unbelievable and Disgusting

I have given Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals 10 days to make this stay right and have heard nothing from anyone above a customer service representative. June 2023 was our first visit to St. Michaels and loved the Crabby Cove. We returned June 2024. This time, we encountered a large snake alive and stuck to sticky traps that worked his way out from under the stove. Based on the number of traps noted, it’s obvious that there was a problem with this rental home. Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals, who manages this property, POORLY handled this situation. Renters Beware.

Tri-Annual Annual Visit To St Michaels (Summer)

This is our 12th rental in SM but 1st time with this house. Overall, did not disappoint as we were looking for a place on water; outside covered porch to help with social distancing; near to the town; and allowed pets. House met all of those requirements. There are a couple of things that could have maximized the experience in this house in particular: 1) there were some areas that could have been cleaner (kitchen rug; placemats; dining room table runner; master BR rug and master bath tub were filthy) where we removed the kitchen rug, and runner and washed the tub and napkins. 2) we would have felt more secure with a wi-fi access that required a security code; 3) there were tow issues with lightbulbs and outside swing set (which maintenance resolved) 4) there is no easy way to launch our kayaks from the piers unless it was high tide (we thought there was a launch ramp), 5) the eastern shore rental property people were not as responsive as other VRBO property managers - we sent several emails to them early on to find out about Covid related refunds; extra dog, and even Sat morning code which was sent late in the afternoon. Once we called them - they were fine. WE PLAN ON RENTING THE HOUSE AGAIN. STILL A GREAT HOUSE/LOCATION
