We really enjoyed our stay here for our club retreat! The location was great, the staff was wonderful, and the communication throughout our stay was excellent.The only things I would mention are that it would have been nice to be able to lock the individual bedrooms when we weren’t in them, and the house could use a little updating to make it feel more modern. But with how responsive and accommodating our host was, along with the stunning views, those things were easy to overlook.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Nina and all the staff was excellent. Bartenders Jimmy and Christina were awesome!! Also Rosa and her staff was there for anything you needed. Would definitely come back again.

14 people on our staff went on a retreat to celebrate our collective success and relax and recharge. We do that annually and this was the best trip yet. The staff were all exceptional. Logistics and transportation were handled exceptionally. Alcohol service and food quality and delivery were exactly what we hoped for and the view is just perfect. The place was very clean and security was visible but unobtrusive. We could not have been more pleased and will highly likely do the exact same trip again...but don't tell my staff that just yet!

We loved our stay at the barefoot beach pad for my 40th birthday. Especially Nina & the staff made this a dream holiday. They took care of all of our needs & wishes. Got themselves repeat guests. Thank you!

The personnel was very friendly, efficiently directed by Nina Jost. The condition of the property was excellent with the exception of the Jacuzzi not reaching a high enough temperature. The food’s quality and quantity were also outstanding. Our family would love to return to this property sometime in the future.

I had a fantastic stay at the Barefoot Beach villa! The property is beautiful and well maintained. I stayed with 20 friends for my 50th birthday and it was beyond my expectations. The staff is very attentive and the manager, Nina, helped me create my dream vacation with excursions, massages, restaurant visits and fantastic dinners at the villa by their chef. The event planner Maddy helped me plan my birthday dinner and she was able to fulfill my wishes for table decoration and cake to perfection.I am so glad to have chosen the Barefoot villa and their team for my special birthday celebration!

Great group getaway

20 of us ~ family and friends ~ wanted to get away for my husbands 65th birthday. We ranged in age from 30 - 65 and everyone had a fabulous time! The staff was attentive and helpful and the food was amazing!

Wonderful 50th anniversary gathering

From the planning start 36 months ago to the final ride to the airport, it just couldn't have been better. Nina was attentive to all our needs and questions, the chef was outstanding, the staff kind and the facilities all that had been drscribed.

We had a large group of 18. The rooms were all cleaned each day. We had one a/c unit go out and a new one was installed that day. The pool and hot tub were cleaned each day as well. We use the all inclusive plan and this works great for a large group. The dinners were excellent and staff were great. The all inclusive drinks were a definite plus. The ocean was rough for three days, but then we got some nice calm days to enjoy the surf. Beach walks were very nice. Our host Nina made sure we had everything we needed from transportation, golf, massages and dinner reservations. Overall our group had a fantastic time.

I just wanted to say thank you for an unforgettable stay. The pictures honestly don’t do the property justice—it’s even more beautiful in person! Every detail exceeded my expectations. If I ever visit Puerto Plata again, I will absolutely consider staying at this breathtaking, amazing home.Nina, the cleaning staff, and our security were all incredibly helpful and professional, and we truly felt at home the entire time. Excellent Villa at the beach

It was a excellent experience at your place , we enjoyed every space of the property. the pool and Jacuzzi was very clean. the bar area was very confortable , pool table was center spot or the kids. our Birthday Celebration was a memorable experience. Thank You for the great service by the staff a catered activities.

Wonderful Family Reunion

The location and customer service of this property cannot be rated highly enough. The all-inclusive food/beverage package was amazing; cuisine was exceptional. Nina was superb, as well as Ariel and Angel. I think the breakfast buffet could use a few more items. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Hot tub, pool were all great. Problem was the WiFi signal and strength. WiFi signal was very bad and some times nonexistent.

This property absolutely stunning. The checkin process was seamless. Nina was there for us from the time we booked. Our large family/friend group had an absolutely wonderful week at The Barefoot Beach Pad. Nina is a pleasure to work with…from meal and activities planning to arranging taxis and providing local recommendations. We loved the great surf and did lots of boogie boarding/surfing. So much to do on the property… beach volleyball, hot tub, pool table, and great high top game tables… perfect for mah jongg! The poolside open air dining and lounge area was wonderful. We had the all inclusive meal plan for 4 nights and all the food was delicious! We enjoyed getting to know our bartender and hope to return so we can have a re-match of dominos with him. The bedrooms are enormous and are very clean. The daily housekeeping was a treat. Barefoot Beach Pad is beautiful property with an incredible staff. Thank you Nina for all your help and attention to every detail.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt that it was a must for our trip to Barefoot Beach Pad. If i could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! My wife and I chose the Barefoot Beach Pad to host our wedding. We were a party of 22 people, and we held the ceremony on the beach. Our first interaction was with Ben who took the time to introduce us to all of the options they had to offer. Then Nina took over and made all of our visions come true. Every little detail from the DJ, Photographer, Cake, Chair rentals were handled by Nina, with the utmost care and precision, and she truly made our day special. The entire staff on the property made us feel at home. From Angel and Cristina at the bar, Chef Manuel in the kitchen along with his assistants, the cleaning crew that kept the entire property spotless, they were all truly spectacular!! I would highly recommend that you do the all-inclusive food and drink packages every day. We felt like royalty being served the freshest hand prepared meals every day. All of the food was delicious, and prepared with love! The alcohol never ran out, and the servers Angel and Cristina were truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to make us all happy! I would highly recommend the Catamaran excursion, the bbq was delicious and all of our guests had a blast going down the slide!All of our guests had an amazing time relaxing in the pool, jacuzzi, and on the beach. What an amazing week we had!!!

Perfect Family Beach Time

This was perfect for our large family group of 23 adults and kids. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed our bartender Angel. The food was delicious. The outdoor setting for food, drinks and family time was great as well as it being beach front. I would recommend this for a large group since the whole place was ours. Thank you Nina and Ariel for taking care of our every need.

Between Ben and Nina as well as the staff this is going to be a trip you’ll never forget. They help you plan out every detail of your stay. This is the 5th year I’ve booked a big trip with my friends to a beach vrbo rental. It was by far the easiest and pain free one I’ve done. You cannot go wrong with booking at this property. They will treat you like family!!!

Bachelorette weekend

What a wonderful four nights we had at this villa! The owners, management, bartenders, chefs, cleaning service was exceptional! The pictures online don’t do it justice! It was the perfect location for a bachelorette weekend. We did a couple of mornings of yoga, one night with a DJ pool party, full chef service every day for breakfast and dinner! The 22 of us cannot speak highly enough about this spot!
