Richmond is close to everything. You won't have to drive long to get anywhere. It's popular with local families and has many family friendly facilities like parks, playgrounds, public library, shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.

Approximate distance/drive times according to my Navi at the time of writing:
Adelaide Airport: 2.1km/3min drive. The home is not directly under the flight path, but it is close to the airport. You do get a great view of the planes flying in low from the front yard which our kids love.

You'll have the entire house (apart from the cleaner's cupboard in the hallway), backyard and garage to enjoy. Guest cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink and in the laundry, which you're welcome to use.

There’s enough space to park 2 cars off the street directly in front of the house on the private paved front yard area. There’s also a single garage with an auto roller door you can access. Alternatively, for easier parking and for larger vehicles like caravans and boats, there's free, street parking nearby. Please ensure you have adequate insurance and be sure to follow any and all signs, as all parking is at your own risk.

This home has personally been set up by our family for families just like yours to enjoy.

We’ve done our best to provide all the things we look for when travelling as a family. Our aim is to make family stays more convenient and comfortable, because we know travelling with little ones can be challenging.

We've put a lot of love and thought into setting this home up. So we're confident, if you’re looking for a lovely space your whole family can enjoy and relax in, whether you’re moving to Adelaide, travelling for work, study, or leisure, this is the perfect home away from home for you. Our 6 year old daughter said she wanted to live here when we finished setting it up because it "feels like home". In the home you will find a couple of hand painted canvases our kids did to add their little personal touch as well. They love creating beautiful homes for other families to enjoy just as much as we do.

You’ll have the entire 3 bedroom, 2 living, 2 bathroom home to enjoy (apart from the cleaner's cupboard). As soon as you walk in the front door you'll appreciate the high ceilings. As you walk down the hall you will feel small and wonder why....it's because the doors/door ways are extra tall too. So if you're a tall person like my husband, you'll love this home. No ducking to get into the rooms.

This large home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests plus infants. When obtaining your quote and booking, be sure to enter the correct number of guests. The standard nightly rate is for 4 guests (see Terms and Conditions below). There's a small fee for each additional guest thereafter. Every guest will have a spot on a proper mattress with 2 queens and 2 single beds provided. No blow up air-mattresses here. There's even a full sized cot with cot mattress so your baby can have a good sleep too! If you have more than one infant, there's an additional portacot provided as well. *Please bring your own baby linen for the cot and portacot.

All the beds have lovely, premium pillow top mattresses, topped with crisp white hotel linen. The master bedroom has blockout curtains and the other 2 bedrooms have blockout roller blinds installed. Perfect for a sleep in or nap during the day.

All 3 bedrooms have carpet and ample storage cupboards with hanging space for all your clothes. The rest of the house has easy to clean tiles that also help keep the place cooler during Summer. This makes it so quick and easy to keep things clean and comfortable with the kids around.

There's also ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout the whole house to keep you comfortable no matter what time of year you're visiting Adelaide.

There's plenty to keep your kids entertained: toys, colouring ins, games, books and for the bigger kids, a big 4K Smart TV and unlimited fast NBN Wifi, so you can sign into your own Netflix account for unlimited entertainment.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. Including a stainless steel gas cook top and under bench oven. There’s a full size fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee pod machine and plenty of bench space. There's a highchair to make feeding baby easier as well. So you can enjoy a relaxing night in with the whole family.

There’s a dishwasher to help make cleaning up after a meal at home a breeze. No need to waste valuable down time doing the dishes by hand! It's like your very own home away from home.

A starter supply of essential consumables including coffee, tea, breakfast oat sachets, and milk is provided. Further grocery supplies are not far away. There's a Woolworths (at Hilton) only 1.5km/3mins drive, and Coles (at Kurralta Park) only 3.2km/5mins drive from the home. Check out the guest guide book provided at the home for all the other great local places to visit during your stay.

We know you'll appreciate the house and linen being thoroughly cleaned in-between each and every booking. It takes hours to properly prepare the home to a high standard. The cleaning fee ensures it can be done on a sustainable basis and includes commercial linen hire. Note: decorative blankets and cushions may not be available for every stay. It will depend on the cleaning company.

There’s a front load washing machine and dryer so you can easily freshen up your clothes and linen as needed. No need to bring your entire wardrobe to make it through your Adelaide stay.

The closest bus stop into the city is on Marion road (about 3min walk). From there you can catch a bus into the city which takes about 10mins depending on where in the city you want to go. You can also catch buses straight into the city from Sir Donald Bradman Drive if you want to walk a bit further and explore the neighbourhood on the way.
