Best Weekend Getaway

My college roommates and I reunited for the weekend at the cabin, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was located just far enough out of town where we felt like we were in our own world in the woods, but also close enough to drive to the outlets and more! We’d LOVE to come back next year. Thank you for a wonderful time!

cozy cabin

Had to do some cleaning upon arrival, wiping down counter tops, stove top, vacuuming, bathroom sinks etc. But the cabin was cozy and our families had a relaxing time. Cabin was not far from Lake George.

We have since reached out to the cleaning company that maintains the property for us. I can assure you that if you ever choose to stay with us again, you will not be needing to clean up upon your arrival. Nice place not far from activities yet out in the woods

The house was comfortable and spacious for the six of us. Cute, outdoorsy, woodsy place. The kids were disappointed that the trampoline in the pictures was not there for our use. It also would have been nice to have extra toilet paper rolls available at the house. Overall, it was clean and comfortable.

The cleaners always leave extra 2 rolls of toilet paper to use and extra paper towels. These items are usually stored in the cabinets in the room. Very Pleasant Stay

The house was lovely and the kitchen was stocked with pans/utensils which we appreciated. My only complaint is that the maintenance man arrived twice with no prior warning from the hosts. Not a huge deal, but I would have appreciated a heads up so our cars could have been moved and not blocked in.

Beautiful Secluded Home

The home was lovely with nice furnishings and decor. The outside space was perfectly secluded with a great fire pit. No linens including sheets, blankets or towels were provided which would stop me from renting this property again. The bathroom floors were dirty. Would return if cleaned better and had linens provided.

Nice place near town and activities, yet also out in the woods

Comfortable and spacious house. Worked well for the six of us. The kids were disappointed that the trampoline in the pictures was not there for our use. I also would've expected there to be extra toilet paper rolls in the house. But overall it was clean and comfortable.

Place to kick back and relax

The property is well kept, love the log cabin. Just if you’re driving at night ferry to want to find the turn in to the property. Other than that all is good. Didn’t have any conversation to contact manager. It was no need would recommend. Lisa and J.

Adirondack weekend

Nice log cabin but in need of a deep cleaning. Carpet upstairs should have stains removed or be replaced. Bathrooms were not as clean as they should be. The kitchen oven mits need to be replaced and a fresh kitchen sponge should have been supplied.

What we experienced

Overall our stay was good. Very comfortable with a lot of privacy. The house is very secluded with lots of privacy. Huge yard with plenty of room for the kids to play and explore. Great to have a grill to utilize and a nice fire pit. Furnished would but very little kindling to start a fire but plenty of woods around to forage from. It is very dark so on clear night you get a sky full of stars. The front porch was great to sit on the two person gliding seats to sit on watching the kids play outside. Inside had the smell like it just opened after not being used for the season. Which the additions smelled fine, it’s just the old cabin part. The old cabin section had a lot of character and very cool decor that ties into the history of the regions past along with some neat vintage pieces that reflects the cabins age. One end has an updated addition for a living room that was very cozy and inviting. Huge windows let in a ton of natural light. The furniture is tastefully done and and very comfy. It was a little frustrating, there was a direct tv remote but no tv remote to change the import to switch to the kids video games. The kitchen had all the essentials needed to cook and clean and functioned well. The placement of the fridge is interesting. Would maybe swap with the little monster fridge. The table was great to have meals as a family but the table was old with a table cloth designed to make it look nicer than it was. The two bedrooms we newer and nicely finished. Plenty of places to sleep and again big windows with abundant natural light. the furniture was themed for a hunting lodge with timber beds and beautiful finish above one of the windows. Had a portable a/c but would have liked a fan. The cat walk between the two rooms was a really nice touch allowing a pleasant view of the lower level. The hot water was an issue. With a family of 4 we found ourselves taking long pauses between showers so everyone could have a warm shower. The ride to lake George from there was manageable, on average 30 mins. The roads are back country roads winding thru the mountains for some nice views. The value we got besides some minor manageable things exceeded the price we paid. Though note, you must bring your own sheets and some pillow cases along with towels and hand towels which we brought along with us our own blankets which honestly having our own from home made us a little comfortable. We would recommend.

Beautiful property and quiet.

Very nice and rustic! Nice property, Quiet and well maintained. As previous reviews have mentioned there is no cell service but there is WiFi. Cleaning service could do a better job.

Nice house

The house was great, a lot of space for everyone. Good layout with privacy if needed. Kitchen was fully equipped. Location is very quiet.

20 minute ride to Lake George

Great place a lot of fun ..definitely need to clean the house a little better .. but besides that everything was fantastic.. and for the summer months they should definitely have another AC by the kitchen..

An absolutely amazing property

I stayed in this log cabin in the middle of the woods outside Warrensburg, NY. The cabin was fabulous! Lots of space for sleeping, living, cooking, and just enjoying life. It is beautifully built and laid out, with amazing decorations throughout. It is also very reasonably priced...an outstanding value for the price. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Nice log cabin house in the woods

The house is very nice looking. Just what you expect. 20 minute drive to down town Lake George. Recommendations Good burgers at Henry George Good smoke house Oscars near by don’t miss out Good sub shop with all kinds of goodies near Price Chopper is the grocery store. Also nice.

Weekend away

The cabin was clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out inside as well as enjoying the firepit outside. We knew to bring towels but hadn't considered hand towels for the kitchen and bath rooms, so be sure to bring these!

beautiful getaway

my husband and I spent 3 relaxing days at this gorgeous cabin. It was peaceful, we didn't have any phone service which we enjoyed, by appreciating each other's company. We visited Lake George, which is a beautiful town. We loved ❤ every moment of our stay. Our favorite vacation. We would go back anytime

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

Our cabin was spacious, neat, and well decorated with period decorations. Stocked well with all the amenities (dishes, cleaning products etc). Plenty of inside and outside space for our group of 9. Only 14 miles away from lake george gave us enough distance to relax away from the crowds and give us time to unwind in the quiet cabin. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Would Come Back!

The cabin housed on the property is absolutely magnificent. We arrived to a clean and welcoming home. The peaceful outdoor atmosphere added the perfect touch to a relaxing stay. The owner of the property is right, leave your cell phone at home because it won’t work, which bettered our stay. I definitely recommend this listing and will undoubtedly visit again.
