Downstairs Studio

This is perfect for a couple or a family with 2 young children.My wife and I stayed here and our children with their families stayed in the upstairs unit.Both were amazing and it had everything we needed. So close to West Yellowstone and the park. We would definitely stay again. Derek is a great host!

This property is fantastic! Comfortable and cozy!

We were a little nervous when we drove there , it being so far from West Yellowstone. But...it was fantastic, such a wonderful property with absolutely everything you could want. We got used to the 20 minute drive and it was not a problem at all. Everything we wanted in a place to stay!

Clean, good lighting, great feel.

My wife and I rented this for 3 days and I wish we had done longer. The location is great, the building is well list and security cameras around the outside to monitor for anything. The room was super clean and very nice to stay in. Not too far from yellowstone or food, but you get the feeling of being away. I do recommend and we will be staying here again. One point when booking. This is a studio apartment so I would only recommend for couples or singles. Would be difficult with kids.

Loud!!

Please be sure that this is the downstairs if a garage with a large apartment above it with no sound proofing ! We could hear every step and every conversation. I called the Vrbo owner and he said he would “text them”. He never did. A day later we knocked on their door ourselves. Also there was not a working thermostat but they did provide a small heater. The place isn’t very big so it worked The place is otherwise clean and nice but definitely needs a full size fridge. If they would soundproof it, it would be great!

Melissa, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We apologize for the noise issues, we have asked the upstairs renters to be courteous to the renters downstairs by walking softly, speaking quietly, and being respectful of the rules, unfortunately, that is not always the case. We usually do not have this issue with the upstairs guests, we did text them within minutes and they responded that they would be quieter about 20 minutes later. - With regards to the non-working thermostat, the previous upstairs guests that checked out the previous Friday got past the locked screen and messed around with the main thermostat by changing from zone 3 to zone 2. This messed up all the zones, HVAC is over an hour away and it took them a week before they could get back to us to reprogram the thermostats. It usually stays cool in the downstairs unit during the summertime. We apologize for this inconvenience. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.

Overall Great

The owner was very responsive and very easy to communicate with. The place was easy to find, and the instructions were pretty clear. There is a LOT of technology in use here, and sometimes it's not always intuitive. For example, there is a keypad on the door that I didn't initially see until I asked and he told me about it. (I found the lockbox with the physical key first.)The unit was very clean, well maintained, spacious and comfortable. I know other reviews mention the noise from the upstairs neighbors. During my stay, I heard them when they came in, and when they left. They were very quiet, and the distraction was very minimal. I would not let that stop you from staying here. There were ear plugs and a noise machine provided, but I did not need to use either of them. The small heater in the unit kept me warm and toasty without overheating me. I would stay here again.

Base Camp for Yellowstone National Park Trip

This was a perfect base camp for us. This property was very well maintained. And we loved the fact that we could cook our meals saving on the cost of eating out. We would choose this place to stay for future trips to the area! Deb

Everything was very nice and clean however, if I had one tip it would be to have a chair outside for unit 2 or even a picnic table outside...

Yellowstone Cabin Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean and supplies furnished helped. We were not bothered by the neighbors upstairs at all. There is a lovely store/gas station at the corner which actually had fresh items. The only thing that was a negative is that the Murphy Bed has two faults. 1. Be careful walking around the bed. We did stub our toes, so we wrapped up the feet of the bed to protect us. 2. The mattress is not very comfortable. Even though we were tired, it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. All in All it was a nice place.

Cozy in Island Park

Beautiful studio cabin. Seems very new. The surroundings are quiet and secluded. The only feedback I have is how loud it is when there are people in the cabin above. Otherwise, we immensely enjoyed the cabin!

Not as expected.

My husband and I were very disappointed with this property. We understood that this is a studio with a larger unit above it, and that property could be occupied by guests during our stay. What we didn't expect is the NOISE level coming from the guests upstairs. We heard every footstep, bang of cupboards, flush of toilet, voices, music...and it didn't help the renters upstairs were partiers. On our third night, we had to call the police due to shouting and violence. We were woken up at 11:00pm by this behavior. The bed was uncomfortable, the outside lights at times did not work, the front door was not locked when we arrived, the unit's heating system is tricky making our space very cold at night, and the wi-fi is not existent. We could even watch a movie without the wi-fi freezing multiple times. This was truly a disappointment and we would not recommend this property to others.
