Suburban Home w/ Backyard Patio < 7 Mi to Dtwn!

From the owner: Thank you, Sharon!

We always want guests to find a vacation home that perfectly matches their needs, and we’re sorry to hear this one wasn’t the best fit for your group. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We strive to keep our listing as accurate as possible, and the photos clearly show the stairs within the home. The description also notes that “the property requires stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility,” though we’re sorry if that detail was overlooked during booking. We appreciate your feedback—it helps us ensure future guests know exactly what to expect before they arrive!

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and that the comfortable mattresses and well-equipped kitchen made things easy for your family. It's great to hear there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and that the extra amenities like the washer, dryer, and highchair came in handy. We appreciate the thoughtful feedback about the WiFi range and toilet height, as those details help us keep improving the experience for future guests. Thanks for sharing such a detailed review and for being wonderful guests.

Homeowner's Response: "Thank you for your review. We've passed it along to our incredible cleaner. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. Happy New Year!"

Hi DRIG, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were both surprised and disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We were surprised to hear you found the beds uncomfortable. We spent several weeks at the property this summer and found the beds to be amazingly comfortable. While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past. We're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. - We were confused by your comment about the neighborhood being under construction. Our property is in a Historic District and is over 100 years old. We can assure you it is not under construction and it is not allowed as the home has to remain historically compliant. - Although this is something completely outside of our control, we're sorry that the neighbors working on their car had a negative impact on your stay. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Hi Andrew, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: We are so sorry for the communication issue and are wondering what happened. The telephone number provided is a landline that rings directly to our house so we can respond to inquiries swiftly. No text messages can be sent to that line. We did not receive any voicemail messages from you. We wish you had called the number provided or called Evolve, as we would have been happy to take care of any concerns you had right away. We also respond to emails within one hour. We are very sorry for how this impacted your stay and are very glad to hear that you had an excellent stay despite this. We will make sure our contact information is as clear as possible so this won't happen again.
