Cottage south of Algonquin Park, level lot, south sand beach, boats, all day sun

Three bedroom cottage on lovely Horseshoe Lake. Large living room and dining room. The kitchen is well-equipped with loads of counter space.

Gorgeous beach. Wade in water. Sandy, firm bottom. Gradual to deep swimming. Level lot. Hop on the canoe and paddle around the islands close by. Or fish from our large aluminum boat. Kayak and kids’ kayaks. Private, large dock and raft. Level lot. South facing, all day sun!

There is a dirt road between the cottage and the lake, Reynolds Road. Great for hiking around Horseshoe Lake as it hugs the shoreline. 40 km speed limit.

Just ten minutes to town of Minden for groceries, and many other stores including great ice cream shop, and good restaurants. Try the River Cone for their poutine or a hamburger with fries.

Lots to do close by, golfing, the rapids at the end of Horseshoe Lake are a nice spot.

Horseshoe Lake is so peaceful and great for swimming and fishing. Motorboat traffic is low.

Friendly neighbourhood. We own the cottage next door to you. We have our own dock and it’s around a bend. You have the beach and your own dock and excellent privacy. There is a one room cabin on the property with a kitchenette, king bed, and a bathroom with shower for rent as well. It sleeps an additional 2-3 people. If you are interested in having friends for a night or two, it’s available for rent too.
