These new, fun and inviting cabins are situated in the heart of the beauty and adventure offered by Rend Lake. Buck cabin can hold up to six friends and family members and is outfitted specifically to accommodate your getaway. Whether you come to fish, hunt, golf, boat, tour wineries or just relax on the porch with a good book, Rend Lake Buck&Bass Cabins is the place for you.

All guests also have access to the amenities at the Rend Lake Golf Resort, 3 minutes from the cabins. The Golf Resort offers an outdoor seasonal pool, jacuzzi housed in a gazebo, tennis, basketball and volleyball court, complimentary bicycles for the bike trail, full-service restaurant, and bar and grille. However you choose to enjoy Rend Lake, come back to your cabin to relax around the fire pit, maybe roast s’mores, but definitely make memories with family and friends.

If Buck Cabin is not available or if you need a second cabin for your perfect family reunion, Bass Cabin and The Pines Cabin are nearby and are two bedroom, fully furnished lakeside cabins. If none of the cabins are available, try the condos at Seasons Lodge on the Rend Lake Golf Course. All three Buck&Bass Cabins and the Rend Lake Condos are Seasons Lodge properties and are available on VRBO.

Had a great time at the cabin. The boat dock was close and was a good spot to fish. We enjoyed the fire pit, but had to bring or buy our own wood. We loved the front porch and the rocking chairs. It was very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely come back again.

Perfect Lakeside Cabin

We loved being able to look out at the lake! The property was clean and relaxing! All staff we talked to were friendly! Only negatives were the hardness of the bed and that the there was a huge parking lot next to the cabin but those were small things in our eyes! It was a good location overall and we loved sitting out on the porch talking and watching the sunset and the fireflies and bats!

Great little getaway!

We love these cabins and the easy access to the lake. The only thing we wish was different was that the king-sized bed was actually a king size bed instead of two twin beds pushed together.

Cabin is adorable and clean! We love that it is only a 3 hour drive from our home. Our only problem is that there is really no place to sit and relax inside the cabin. The tiny couch is so uncomfortable. The one chair is fine. We had rain several days and it would have been nice to cozy up with a good book inside, but the only place to do that is in the bed, which has its own issues. We still LOVE the Buck Cabin!

Beautiful, Convenient Location

Very clean and excellent communication with the manager. We lost power during a bad storm and they updated us right away and maintained updates until the power was restored a short time later. The cabin is very close to the boat ramp making it very convenient to get on and of the water quickly. Looking forward to our next stay.

Nice Place

Most of the Rend Lake area will not have cabins on the water. The Buck Cabin is in the Conservation District of Rend Lake so my understanding is they are exempt from the State in terms of where their cabins can be. So, if you are looking for a place near the water, this is it. It is about 100 yards in front of a boat ramp and parking lot area with 3 or 4 other cabins scattered about. It is not necessarily secluded, but it gives you enough privacy and a beautiful view of Rend Lake. You'll hear a bit of highway traffic, but it not overwhelming.There is a hiking trail just off the street where you park, and you can fish the dock at the boat ramp and the shoreline within a small walking distance.The cabin was clean and had everything you need. There is 1 bedroom with a king bed and a bunk bed as well as a pull out couch for additional sleeping. There were 3 of us there on a guided fishing trip - Buck Brush Fishin. We had a really good time and the cabin was nice to come back to and relax after a long day on the water.Grill and firepit outside as well as a nice covered deck. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you are looking for a scenic view near the water, but don't mind it not being entirely secluded. We will probably be back!

Buck Cabin on Rend Lake

We enjoyed this cozy cabin with a perfect location and great view. Checking in at the Seasons Lodge at the Rend Lake Golf Course was handy, and the staff there were super helpful with recommendations like the Bonnie Cafe in Bonnie, IL about 10 miles north. Also, the cabin is very close to the meeting spot for Full Moon fishing guide service with Fred Mooney, who we recommend highly to all.

Cozy Cabin

This all wooden cabin was so cute and cozy for our weekend getaway to Rend Lake. Buck cabin is closest to the lake and has a great view. Loved the charcoal grill, swing, and picnic tables on property. If you have a boat, this place is right by a launch and has ample parking. I would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT

This property is beautiful! The cabin was spotless! Linens were soft, clean and plentiful. Accessible to so many activities, but the front porch with rocking chairs was so relaxing it was hard to leave to go anywhere! The cabin was small and perfect for a couple with a kitchen that has everything you need to fix a meal. We loved our time on Rend Lake and hope to return soon!

Exceptional stay

The cabin was stocked with everything you need for a stay. The entire staff was always there to help wth any issue. Beautiful view, pictures was exactly what you will have. You need to be prepared for the wildlife…we had a skunk who stayed under the cabin for a short time and then moved on. My husband hired a guide to go fishing from the local bait shop by the gas station. He really enjoyed himself and will definitely do it again. There is a beach…it looked amazing but we never had time to stop. Shopping is close for any of your needs. If you plan on grilling bring a lighter..which we forgot. We will be planning on a trip next year. Our vacation was very relaxing.
