Cottage in a relaxing setting on the Ring of Kerry route on the Wild Atlantic /w

Sunset Cottage is situated on an elevated site overlooking the main Ring of Kerry road on the wild Atlantic way.
The cottage is tastefully decorated, located in a peaceful and tranquil setting boasting stunning views of the surrounding mountains to the front and rear.

It is a perfect base to tour the Ring of Kerry ,Dingle Pennisula,visit Skelig Island,Killarney National Park,Gap of Dunloe or many of the multitudes of sights in south west Ireland.

Alternatively, you may like to spend the day relaxing.
Sunset has 3 bedrooms, 1master bedroom ensuite ,1 double ,1twin ensuite.There is a separate bathroom, kitchen /dining area ,utility room and living room plasma tv with cable and dvd player.There is wifi available throughout the house.

Nearest beaches: 2 kilometres from Dooks and 5 kilometres from Rossbeigh.

Fishing: Caragh Lake and Caragh River are renowned for salmon and trout fishing, boat rental is also available on the lake.

The property was so clean; inside and out. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need to prepare some meals. We were excited over having a washer/dryer in the house but also had a clothes line outside! From the front and back of the house you have wonderful Mountain View’s, plus some cows to talk to.! Marcella and her mom are very friendly and helpful. She provided us with lots of helpful information about the area. 3 grocery stores are close to the house also. if you like it quiet, this is where you would want to be.We enjoyed our visit tremendously!!

Marcella & Declan were very kind and accommodating hosts. The house was clean and comfortable, and we loved having a clothesline out back. It was a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home, so we each had our own space, which was wonderful. We enjoyed the location, very central to many places we wanted to visit, and although it was near the N70, we couldn't hear any traffic. The temperature reached record highs during our 6-day stay, and none of the doors or windows had screens so we couldn't cool the house off without fighting bugs. The only concern we had was the kitchen lacked sufficient supplies - we ran out of paper towels after a couple of days, and there were no kitchen drying towels provided so we had to use bathroom hand towels.

Thank you for your lovely review ,we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us . It's a shame concerning the tea towels you didn't ask when i called by during your visit to check was everything ok.They were in the cupboard near the dishwasher where all the cleaning supplies are kept , there are 3 tea towels which i think is sufficient , paper towels which were supplied is only meant for cooking not for drying dishes and only a starter kit . I was puzzled when you left i couldn't understand how the towels weren't used mystery solved . Enjoy the rest of your trip girls .

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay in this perfectly located, well appointed cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you would need. Marcella met us on arrival, and departure, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A perfect stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at cottage lovely and clean and in a great location foo.Close to many fabulous beaches. We will come back again.There is a DVD player but no DVDs to watch.a few board games would be a nice touch.

Perfect stay

Marcella was the perfect host and provided us with valuable tips for our excursions. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The three bathrooms were a great convenience, and of course, the fantastic location allowed us to explore a lot in a short amount of time. My husband and I stayed just about a week at this lovely home just outside of Killorglin on the Ring of Kerry. It was conveniently located so that we could see all of the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. It was very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The home was immaculately clean, well stocked, including a washer and dryer, and made our stay very enjoyable. Our host Marcella, and her parents, were lovely and very helpful. We very highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to stay in this beautiful area of Ireland.

A Gem on the East Coast

The beautiful house

A wonderful stay. Marcella is very nice and explains everything in detail. The house is very clean, very good area to rest and 7 minutes from supermarkets. Everything was perfect. A very quiet stay.

Holiday in Ireland

The owner was very helpful & always available for any requests or help needed. Everything was in working order & just was so pleasant to stay at. I would recommend this rental to anyone going to Kerry, Ireland. Town nearby was also very nice also. GREAT !!!!!
