Sunset Cottage is situated on an elevated site overlooking the main Ring of Kerry road on the wild Atlantic way.
The cottage is tastefully decorated, located in a peaceful and tranquil setting boasting stunning views of the surrounding mountains to the front and rear.

It is a perfect base to tour the Ring of Kerry ,Dingle Pennisula,visit Skelig Island,Killarney National Park,Gap of Dunloe or many of the multitudes of sights in south west Ireland.

Alternatively, you may like to spend the day relaxing.
Sunset has 3 bedrooms, 1master bedroom ensuite ,1 double ,1twin ensuite.There is a separate bathroom, kitchen /dining area ,utility room and living room plasma tv with cable and dvd player.There is wifi available throughout the house.

Nearest beaches: 2 kilometres from Dooks and 5 kilometres from Rossbeigh.

Fishing: Caragh Lake and Caragh River are renowned for salmon and trout fishing, boat rental is also available on the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at cottage lovely and clean and in a great location foo.Close to many fabulous beaches. We will come back again.There is a DVD player but no DVDs to watch.a few board games would be a nice touch.

Perfection

The Sunset cottage was just lovely. A great location for seeing Kerry, Dingle and southwest ireland. It was equipped with everything we needed and the hosts were so kind and helpful.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay in this perfectly located, well appointed cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you would need. Marcella met us on arrival, and departure, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A perfect stay!!

Perfect stay

Marcella was the perfect host and provided us with valuable tips for our excursions. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The three bathrooms were a great convenience, and of course, the fantastic location allowed us to explore a lot in a short amount of time. We highly recommend this accommodation and would be happy to return.

Stunning location!

We had a great stay from start to finish. Ideal base to explore the area. Very helpful and friendly owners and the house was spacious and exceptionally clean with mountain views all around. So it was perfect for us!

A Gem on the East Coast

We really enjoy our stay here, Marcella and Declan both were very hospitable and accommodating. The home met our standard of cleanliness and was comfortable. Well stocked with needed kitchen supplies. Beautiful views what a gem to find in the area we so love. We plan to return! Gratious Hosts!

Great place on the Ring of Kerry but off the beaten path

This is a huge cottage right on the Ring of Kerry, but it is also outside the tourist crush. There are some nice local offerings nearby, including an astonishingly well-appointed small store which was a savior for us. We weren't there for the Ring, and this location gave us a quiet spot from which to access Beara and Dingle, but if you ARE there for the Ring, you can start your morning ahead of the tourists coming from Killarney.

Fabulous house in a stunning location

We absolutely loved pur stay in this beautiful house. It was in the perfect spot for us to discovet Cork and Kerry. We were only sad we weren't there longer.

The beautiful house

A wonderful stay. Marcella is very nice and explains everything in detail. The house is very clean, very good area to rest and 7 minutes from supermarkets. Everything was perfect. A very quiet stay.

Holiday in Ireland

The owner was very helpful & always available for any requests or help needed. Everything was in working order & just was so pleasant to stay at. I would recommend this rental to anyone going to Kerry, Ireland. Town nearby was also very nice also. GREAT !!!!!

Immaculate, perfect base

Marcella (host) was prompt, helpful and welcoming; the bungalow was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well-appointed; convenient for Killarney and many other places; photos don't do it justice. Stunning views and very quiet location. Just two of us, but sleeps six easily. Very reasonably priced for its size. Highly recommended.

We, four seniors ages 68 -86, stayed at the cottage for 3 nights in Early October. The property was very well appointed, in a beautiful and perfect location, right on The Ring of Kerry. Marcella, the owner was wonderful to work with, answering my questions quickly. Unfortunately we were not able to meet her as she and her family were on vacation. We did meet her parents and they were delightful and so very kind. (Thank you Bridget!) The house was perfect for the 4 of us, with room for more. The kitchen was well appointed with anything you would need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer were wonderful! TV room was cozy and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and showers with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Would love to be able to return one day!

Perfect holiday home

We loved this holiday home. It was perfect. Excellent location less than ten minutes south of Killorgin on the ring of Kerry. Beautiful views from every window. There's so much to see and do in Kerry. The house was comfortable with two ensuite bedrooms as well as a main bathroom. Wifi and netflix. A lockable shed to store your water sports gear is an added bonus.
