Upstairs neighbors extremely loud. 2 blocks from the trouble part of the area and not having enough hot water for a shower was a huge problem for us. But the place was actually really nice

Great place

Overall I think that this property was a great option to show my out of town friends the true stl experience! Great location that is closer to downtown! I will hopefully stay here again!

Lovely place!

We had a great time staying here! We were 10 minutes from all of our activities we wanted to do while in STL. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing property

The property is beautiful and really nice really close to a lot of places.Has a homey feel to it. The property manager responded quickly and very friendly I’ll definitely be back!!

Beautiful

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. I had family that came from out of state stay and they loved the aesthetics. It was clean and in a nice neighborhood. Worth the stay!!

Quick getaway

The host was super easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this home as your choice to stay in. Very easy to check in and access. We found a local coffee, wine and plant bar within walking distance. Fully stocked and excellent location.

Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The people avove us had kids running around til 11pm both nights so that was rough. Everything else about our stay was great! Close to downtown, a grocery store and all ETL has to offer.

Fun trip!

Me and my sons stayed a few days and everything was great. It was nice to have free street parking. I cooked each night so it was good to have a nice kitchen (There are no pans though…just pots). Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.

Great

The only issue i had personally was finding the trash dumpster even with instruction, but we didnt stay long enoigh to make enough trash for it to be a defining issue. Overall, great place, great location, great amenities.

Communication with the honor was very good, as well as quick and helpful. Overall, the place was clean, but a few hairs were found on the shower wall. I wasn’t aware in the listing that there would be people on the upper level; heard them walking at early hours. I am overall pleased with my first Vrbo experience.

Easy check in. Responsive. Pictures are good

It is clean and a pleasant place to stay. Had problem with the people upstairs but they took care of it even at 1:00 AM in morning. Pictures are what it looks like. I will stay here again.

Nice location, details a miss

Internet out the whole time. Hosts communicated first two days, then ghosted. It was never fixed. The rest of the stay was as expected.

Great stay

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. My only issue was there was no salting and shoveling done at the entrance of property which could have caused an issue though I didn’t contact them regarding this issue I don’t think I should have to. Otherwise any contact was with them was on point and they tried to get me what I needed. This is my third stay with them so I like how the handle the properties they manage.

The hair dryer did not work; the host replaced it fairly quickly. The bathtub is very slippery and needs a non-slip mat. Communications are hard to read because they're all in one enormous text string, but the host does respond.

Quaint

Property was a little smaller than I expected. But overall it was great for the price. I'm one of those people that when I travel I just need a place to lay my head. I'm not going to camp out and spend all my time at the place I'm sleeping. I'm out all day adventuring and then I come back and just want to clean place to sleep. And this got that covered.

disappointing

We stayed at this property before in the upstairs unit and loved it. The location is great, in a safe community that is close to downtown and the Wash U area. This unit is downstairs in the same building, but the location is where the similarity ended. First and foremost, our door code stopped working on our second night and we were stranded outside for 30 mins at midnight. It took awhile to get a response from anyone who could help us. The unit was not nearly as well maintained as the upstairs one. There were light bulbs missing, and many of the power outlets did not work, including that for the tv. I asked the property manager, and when their suggestion didn’t work, they had nothing else to offer us. The only sofa in the main room had no back cushions, so we ended up leaning just on the frame. The walls were extremely thin, especially the roof, so every single step by the tenants above was like an earthquake. The shower curtain in the bathroom also smelled. We still paid a lot for this unit and were not happy at all.

Hi Asif, I am so sorry for the issues that you found during your stay. This is not our standard. I will be having maintenance go home to make sure the mentioned issues are rectified immediately. It seems that with the power a breaker must have tripped making the TV not work properly. Thanks again for staying with us and we would love to host you again to show you a 5 star stay!

Just fine

The check in process was very easy, and the property manager was always available via text message for questions, which I really appreciated. The neighborhood was described as quiet, mostly because there are only 3 residence buildings on the block; the rest of the buildings were abandoned and/or closed businesses. The rental was very clean for the most part; there was quite a bit of mildew staining in the bathroom, and my son’s allergies were acting up, likely due to dust/moisture from being in the basement of the building. The thing that was lacking was the furniture. The couch was quite old and well-worn, the mattresses on the beds were tilted downward toward the headboards making it feel like I was upside down. There were no full length mirrors or other places in the space where one person could get ready while the sole bathroom was occupied. Also, the noise level was difficult for us to get used to. The vinyl flooring was very loud, even with bare feet, both in our unit and the one upstairs from us. The upstairs tenant walked back and forth across our ceiling all night long, and the sound seemed to be amplified by the acoustics. They did provide sound machines in each of the bedrooms, which helped some, but not quite enough to prevent us from waking up to the walking above us.

Great 2 bedroom 1 bath basement apartment

Kristin was great at communication. Would stay here again. Convenient to everything! Quiet neighborhood. Great price compared to area hotels & had washer & dryer which was a necessity when we arrived (luggage was soaked from something in transport & don’t know what).

Nice and Convenient

Clean, modern, and close to downtown. Stayed two nights playing golf and going to the Cards games. Street parking in front of the condo was convenient and Ubers to and from downtown were easy. I will definitely stay again.
