What a wonderful cottage! Easy walk to town, felt very private. The Children's Bay track was a very cool walk with awesome views. We would definitely stay here again when we come back.

Wonderful little cottage with beautiful views of Akaroa. Unfortunately it was the heaviest rain in 30 years and the only road washed out stranding us here. The owner was very understanding and extended our stay.

Wonderful little slice of heaven

Incredible setting, very private with amazing views. Compact little place with such great layout and facilities. Love, loved, loved it!

It was beautifully represented with million dollar views it was a bit rough riding in the swifty up the driveway but it gave us a bit of a laugh and we made it lol but I highly recommend and I would definitely be coming to stay again. In the bird life is absolutely glorious listening to them every morning observing them was my highlight. Thank you once again for having us

Review

Great location, though on the shadier side of the bay. Property was well equipped, it was clean and comfortable. It was lovely to have the bellbirds around the property.

Otahuahu Akaroa Holiday Home is an absolute gem. Waking up to this view from the main bedroom was unforgettable. The calm harbour, the surrounding mountains and the ever changing light made every morning feel special.The house is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. The view from the main bedroom alone is worth booking for, but the entire home feels welcoming and perfect for unwinding, whether enjoying a slow morning in bed or taking in the scenery from the living areas. The outdoor areas looking over the lake also allowed for a peaceful and tranquil stay, creating the perfect space to sit, breathe and simply be present.The location is peaceful yet close enough to town to easily explore Akaroa. It truly felt like a retreat that was quiet, beautiful and restorative.Highly recommend for anyone wanting a memorable stay with one of the best views in Akaroa.
