Excellent space to spread out

We loved the space, everything was there to make an amazing experience. The kids from Florida saw snow for the first time. Learned to ski at elk and used a sled we brought along on a small hill at the home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent communication!

We had a wonderful stay at this large but cozy home. My family went skiing at Elk Mountain. They said it was one of the best PA mountains they have gone skiing on. The slopes had plenty of room and little wait time for the lifts. The hot tub and wood burning stove were a plus too.

Excellent communication.

The home was extremely large and comfy. We enjoyed the wood burning stove; especially, when my family came home from skiing Elk mountain, which wasn't crowded! My adult children used the hot tub, which worked great and was ready to go. We hope to be back next year as the home met all of our needs.

Comfortable stay without some fuctional amenities

The property is well maintained. Tony responds on time for the text messages. Hot Tub which was the main reason for us to select this property was not working.

Great Ski Stay

The house was perfect for a Ski trip to Elk Mountain (8 miles / 20 minutes away). It was clean with lots of fun family hangout space. The hot tub was a big hit as well. There was plenty of wood for the fire burning stove, which kept the house nice and toasty. The deer and other wildlife were fun to watch through the picture window. Tony was very responsive and extremely organized. Overall it was a wonderful stay. One small warning: The last few miles to the house are dirt roads. They are maintained. As it rained heavily on our arrival day, we mud bogged it a bit. Our all-wheel drive van handled the mud just fine. But, had we known, we definitely would have left my husband's small coup at home. Par for the course when you are coming up to the mountains, but good to know for vehicle planning purposes.

The property was perfect.Clean ,spacious and beatiful. Just what we were looking for. Peaceful and full of wild life. we could sit on the deck and watch them every morning and again at night. Our hosts thought of everything like shampoo and k cups.. It was wonderful.

Mothers 70th birthday weekend getaway.

My family had a wonderful time in this home. Home needs a little updating and the fridge does not get cold and needs replaced. Overall it felt like home and the owners (Tony) of the home were very nice and helpful. Nice place to spend time with the family.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

Property was as advertised. Could tell it was prepped recent to our arrival to make sure everything was set. Communication was great, quick responses to answer any questions. Instructions available in the house as well to help with any questions or concerns. Really enjoyed our time there!

Mini Vaca

Highly Recommended

I can't say enough how much my family and I enjoyed this house during President Weekend 2021. It was 20 minutes from Elk Mountain and included a fire stove and hot tub. The property owners were also very thoughtful and provided so many amenities above and beyond what you normally get in a rented house. My only suggestion is to buy what you need (alcohol, food) beforehand because there isn't much to Elk area.
