Beautiful peaceful surroundings

We had an excellent couple of days with our fur baby. So much to explore, bush trails, swimming pool, enclosed yard, tennis courts. It's a dog's dreams. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Perfect peaceful getaway

Ella (dog) and I had an amazing time at the Mountolive Studio. Junko and Frank were both really friendly and the communication and information provided before, during, and after the stay made the entire experience easy and stress free. The studio itself was so much prettier than I expected and the garden's were stunning. We will be back.

Our dogs are family so to be able to take them away with us for a couple of days was the perfect! We all had so much fun walking the trails and swimming in the pool. The Studio was lovely and the gardens are stunning. We cannot wait to visit again!

Absolute heaven for reactive dogs

I absolutely loved my stay at Mountolive Studio. The biggest highlight for me was being able to completely let my guard down and enjoy walking and exploring with my dog without constantly worrying about running into off-lead dogs. The huge, securely fenced area attached to the studio gave him so much freedom to run and play, and the entire property is enormous and such a joy to explore together. The natural beauty of the property is incredible. I especially loved the giant boulders that have been preserved and thoughtfully incorporated into the gardens rather than removed. They create these beautiful focal points and gave the whole place a real sense of awe and wonder. The studio itself is stunning. I had the fire roaring the entire stay, which made it feel so cosy, and the entrance features gently trickling water that you can hear from the bed—so peaceful and relaxing. The spa, surrounded by lush plants, was the perfect place to unwind. This was the first time in a long while that I truly felt able to switch off and relax. It was the perfect reset for both me and my dog, and I can't wait to come back.

Relaxing dog friendly heaven near Perth

Stayed there for two nights with our two dogs and had a lovely time. Lots to explore in peace including trails, natural springs, dam, pool and more. the studio had everything we needed so that made our stay even more comfortable.

Perfect Weekend Getaway (The Studio has a Spa Bath!)

This gorgeous place has everything you need! The studio is very comfortable and tidy, with a fully equipped kitchen and big bed upstairs. The bathroom has been built separate to the house so access is from outside, but it’s bright, clean and the shower is nice and hot! The area around the house is fully fenced so you can keep your dogs contained, and the property itself is massive with lots of long bush trails to wonder around off lead. The pool is up a few stairs to the top of the hill, and the studio has its own private spa bath - which isn't mentioned in the description for some reason but it’s amazing! I honestly couldn’t think of a better place for a quiet and relaxing weekend away so close to home. Thank you for creating such a wonderful escape - I will definitely be back!

A little slice of heaven for families, kids and dogs alike — thoughtful touches, stunning scenery, and the kind of place that makes you slow down, reconnect, and start planning your next visit before you’ve even left.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We visited with our two young children and our Cavoodle, and honestly had one of the most relaxing and memorable family getaways we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much care has gone into creating such a special experience. The beer on arrival, the hot tub ready to enjoy, the beautifully prepared fire, and even the hand-drawn directions on the map were all such thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly welcome. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The peaceful surroundings, bush views and sense of calm made it so easy to switch off from everyday life. Our children spent hours happily exploring outdoors, while we enjoyed slowing down and soaking it all in. We also took our daughter horse riding nearby, which became one of the highlights of our trip. What stood out most was how effortlessly the Studio caters to families, couples and dog lovers alike. So much thought has gone into every detail, creating a place where people can genuinely reconnect, relax and make lasting memories together. We left feeling refreshed, recharged and already talking about when we can return. We’ll definitely be booking directly next time and would love to experience the Wagon as well. Perfect Pet-Friendly Getaway

We had an amazing stay! Our dog had the best time exploring the bush walks and swimming in the pool. It was wonderful to relax and be surrounded by nature, with plenty of birds and kangaroos to spot. The studio was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly escape!

Brilliant weekend in the bush!

We had a brilliant stay at Mountolive studio. Our dog absolutely loved it! She was in heaven exploring the bush and particularly loved swimming in the creek! We also loved playing on the tennis court! Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back. The hosts were fantastic at communicating and very welcoming and helpful.

Ah, the serenity

What a lovely spot, so glad we found it! We hate going away without our fur babies so was so lovely to find a venue where dogs are fully accommodated for and safe. Our doggies had the best time exploring the grounds, and we enjoyed a few reds by the fire 🔥 A lovely relaxing place, highly recommend

Peaceful getaway

Mountolive studio is a lovely, peaceful escape in the hills and not too far away from Perth. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of walking opportunities and a nice pool. My fur baby loved all the new smells and areas to run. It’s just delightful and we will go back.
