PLEASE READ:
Beautiful big home with plenty of parking for vehicles, boats, rv's or trailers. Close to elementary schools, play grounds, rec center, airport, golf course and bus stop right beside house. Quiet neighborhood on corner lot with a 16x32 inground heated pool and new salt water hot tub. Outdoor bar with hammock and a big covered deck. Lots of space for fun! Inside there is 5 bedrooms with 2 King beds and 3 queen beds. Projection screen tv in living room. A cozy kitchen and dining space with fresh coffee!

THE SPACE:
This home has an in ground pool and hot tub. You must agree to the liability and waiver form vrbo provides. We will not be held responsible for anything that happens regarding that. So please rent and swim at your own risk. Property safety and signage is around the inside and outside of the home plus booklet. Along with rules regarding the pool and hot tub. *** Remember this is a business and a home we would love lots of people to enjoy. House rules must be followed. If you do not like the quiet times or pool/hot tub hours or no party rules that are set in place then please don’t rent this home*** Pool open from June 1st - October 1st

Downstairs basement has a one bedroom brand new suite that is also a running air bnb and available for rental if you need more space. It has its own separate entrance and yard so you will not have to share any of your space with anyone including pool and hot tub if it happens to be rented at the time. Very private.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

Available anytime I am just a call away. However paid hosts live nearby and manage, clean and maintain the home. own separate entrance and yard so you will not have to share any of your space with them including pool and hot tub.

GUEST ACCESS:
Front door had a key code pad so you can check in nice and easy!

There is a fenced area separate from the yard/pool as well where you can keep your dog

Treat this home as if it were your own please :)

Garage is not accessible to renters.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Great quiet neighborhood. Just a walk down the street to get to the Brock rec center or the park! There is also a neighborhood convenience store close by and only 5 minutes away from Kamloops golf course and airport!

GETTING AROUND:

We are situated right beside a bus stop so easy to transit around if you do not have a vehicle. However if you do, we have a ton of parking available for either vehicles, rv's, boats or trailers.

We were in Kamloops as a family group to celebrate a wedding. The house was clean spacious and well equipped for us. The pool and hot tub were very nice.

Would have been nice to know the backyard was under construction .we only found out two days in advance the pool was not available. We feel all the construction should have been disclosed at the time of booking. Front and backyard was not looked after. We were not told we would be sharing the backyard with a downstairs person. There was no cable tv available.

The pool opens June 1st and that is in the description. So was the pool construction being done. I had just sent a reminder to you in case you didn’t properly read through the description which it seems you did not. You also do not share any part of your yard with anyone, so I’m not sure why you are saying that. Kamloops was still cold and transitioning from winter to spring so you were there mid spring clean up. And we offer every streaming channel including Apple TV just not cable which is also in the description.

The host was very responsive whenever we raised a concern, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the house itself did not meet our expectations. Although it presents well in the photos, it felt quite dated and grungy in person and needed a thorough cleaning inside and out. The windows and glass railings were dirty, there were dead flies in the windowsills, and the deck and outside area needed power washing.The home was also inadequately supplied for a group of eight. We had to purchase our own toilet paper, paper towels, dishcloths, and fly swatters. The house was incredibly buggy, and there were no screens on the doors or windows to help keep the insects out.There were also numerous maintenance issues. The electrical connection for the projector was loose, causing it to lose power during a crucial moment in a ball game; taking several minutes to restart. The front-door lock worked only intermittently, even after we changed the batteries, so we felt we had to leave a door or window open to avoid being locked out. We also experienced flickering lights, and two of the bathrooms lacked an exhaust fan.There were so many small but frustrating issues that I eventually stopped contacting the host because I felt as though I was constantly reporting problems. While we appreciated her responsiveness, the property needs a deep cleaning, better supplies, general updating, and a thorough maintenance check before it matches the impression given by the listing photos.

Wonderful Stay

Comfortable Beds and a fun home for our kids attending a ball tournament near MacArthur island. The pool and hot tub, plus swings and projector swing made it extra enjoyable despite the rain that weekend

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the cleaner/property manager at the time was not performing the duties they were being paid for, and we sincerely apologize for the condition of the property during your stay. As soon as you informed us, we immediately stepped in, driving down to the property and spending several days addressing the issues and completing improvements and renovations. We also gave you money back for the inconvenience. The home is now in excellent condition and being maintained to the standard our guests expect and deserve. We have also made changes to who is managing and servicing the property to ensure this does not happen again. We would genuinely love the opportunity to host you again for a redo and provide the experience you should have had the first time.

5 old guys going golfing

Good central location for almost all the golf courses. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, we were able to make gourmet meals at home base. The tv’s weren’t working when we arrived but that was taken care of with a quick call. Unfortunately the fix to the wi-fi that fixed the tv, disabled our Bluetooth devices. I’m pretty sure that could have been overcome jut it wasn’t that big a deal this time round.Overall, a great place for a getaway - would highly recommend it!

Great property for a large group

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen very well equipped, awesome huge projection TV for movies and the property is well maintained. It's also right across form a bus stop for easy transportation anywhere. Our host was so responsive to every little request we had. We had one issue during our stay (furnace stopped working) but the host was extremely responsive and had someone there very quickly to address it so it really didn't impact our stay at all. We enjoyed the hottub outside as well. There is a suite in the basement so you need to be aware of noise transfer, but we were up fairly late and had no issues. Overall a great place to stay. If in Kamloops we'd stay here again.

Hi Alan, thanks for the feedback. I’d like to clarify a few points: • The dishwasher is working properly, we tested it before and after your stay. • We weren’t aware of the other items you mentioned. The only issue on our radar was the range hood fan, which a previous guest damaged; it has since been repaired. • For the hot tub, our house rules ask guests to shower first. Lotions and products can quickly foul the water and filters, which is likely what happened here. • Sorry about the burnt out bulb, that’s been replaced. • We provide all major streaming options; the only service we don’t offer is traditional cable. We appreciate you staying with us and will keep working to make the home even better.

Great family vacation

This was our first VRBO experience but our worries were over once we arrived. The property was exactly as advertised and our week was wonderful. Kelsey quickly responded to any question we had. The house is equipped with all appliances including an air fryer, coffee, spices, condiments, olive/avocado oils, soaps, and shampoos. The kids enjoyed the projection TV with huge screen. Both adults and kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The furnished covered deck was great when we needed time out of the sun. Only 2 of the 5 bedrooms have AC but our temps luckily were only in the high 20s and it cooled off enough at night that all bedrooms were comfy with the fans that were provided. If temps continue to rise into the 30s during the summer months, the owners may need to put AC in the remaining 3 bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

For clarity, we would like to mention that while only two of the bedrooms have individual air conditioning units, the main floor of the house is equipped with a central air conditioning system. Over the years, we have found that this system is quite adept at maintaining a comfortable temperature throughout the house, even during the hotter summer months. However, the effectiveness of the air conditioning can be affected if windows and doors are left open, as this allows the cool air to escape. We recommend that guests keep all windows and doors closed during the hotter parts of the day to ensure that the air conditioning can maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the house. 5 couples stayed at this property for 3 nights for a birthday. Upon arrival, the house was cute, but we quickly noticed 3 of the 5 bedrooms did not have A/C or screens in the windows. This was a huge issue for the weekend, the indoor thermostat read 27.5 degrees C on the main floor for the weekend. 3 couples didn’t sleep because of the heat, since we were staying during a heat wave in August. The A/C unit in the living room was blowing warm air by the second day. Cleanliness wasn’t great outside, apparently it was because of a secondary party in charge of cleaning. Empties left for us to clean up around the pool and back patio. Owner was apologetic. Freezer drawer stopped freezing and thawed out meat and ice cream, ice maker was not in working. Oven door wasn’t closing properly, then setting off the door open alarm every few minutes- so the oven stopped baking each time the door alarm went off. Our overall disappointment was brought to the owner’s attention, a one night refund was requested and denied. The response from the owner was that all the issues weren’t happening when the cleaner arrived after we left. This was supposed to feel like a vacation, but the price of this property was not worth the issues. There were positives-the pool was great, a highlight of the trip. Owner was quick to respond. We would have hoped the owners would have at least tried to make things better for the money spent- apparently not. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this property.

Lovely retreat in the North Shore

Spacious and clean with all the amenities, we had a fantastic weekend in Kamloops. The house is well stocked, lots of room and a big yard and patio area. We’d stay here again, it was great for our family get together.

Perfect Extended Family Vacation

This rental is even better than the pictures! It is very clean and comfortable with air conditioning on the main floor and in 2 of the bedrooms. The bedrooms without air conditioning did get a little warm; however there are many fans provided to help combat the heat. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and there were lots of towels and extra bedding available if needed. The pool and hot tub were exactly what we were expecting. We spent most of our days poolside, which always received partial shade throughout the day. Overall, this rental was perfect for our group of 12, ranging from 70 years old to 10 months. Communication with Kelsey was seamless and her responses were always very prompt.

Eveything we needed

The house was in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a great bonus, as we visited during an extremely hot time of year. The beds were really comfortable as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Business Stay

We rented this property for some of our employees that were in Kamloops for business. They really enjoyed staying there and it was a nice break from hotels.

Perfect summer getaway

The home was cozy, comfortable, and completely renovated. The yard with the pool, hot tub, sitting areas was the highlight of our trip! A heated pool with a hot tub is all you need! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the projection screen was perfect for movie nights with the kids. We were a multi-generation family staying together (ages 3-70) and everyone had an amazing time. Close to the airport, groceries, playgrounds and tennis courts.

The perfect getaway!

I absolutely LOVED our weekend at this property, it was exactly what we needed as a family. The place was very spacious, clean, the pool was warm, the hot tub was hot, and the beds were SUPER comfortable which was also great.
