Cozy Cottage Near Rock Harbor (2223)

This perfectly located marsh side cottage provides tranquility, beauty, and Cape Cod charm! There are two bedrooms (one with a queen, one with two twins) just off the cozy living room. There is an additional twin bed that doubles as a couch in the living room. The full bathroom holds a walk in shower. The three season porch features the dining space, perfect for sunset dinners! Enjoy an outdoor shower after a day of sunbathing at one of the many nearby beaches. Hang your salty towels on the provided cloths line after a day of fun! There is a full kitchen and a charcoal grill. The adjacent patio features a picnic table and a few lounge chairs. There is parking for 2 cars. This cottage is very close to Rock Harbor, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and Orleans center. Dogs allowed for an added fee. Short getaways available with an added cleaning fee. Save the cleaning fee by booking 7 or more consecutive nights. BOOK NOW!! An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Fantastic!

We loved this place. It's cozy and great for a couple or a small family. We brought our small yellow lab and she adjusted quickly. This location is so close to the Orleans rotary but you wouldn't even know it. Waking up every morning, sipping coffee on the porch, listening to the birds and the rustling of the marsh while watching the sun rise is a memory that will keep me going throughout the year.

Knowles Way Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a very cute cottage but really could use some updates. The furniture in the living room is not overly comfortable. In the bed rooms there are not enough outlets to even plug in your phone. The kitchen utensils and pans are very sparse. We wanted to use the one frying pan and the pan was so warped it didn’t sit on the burner and the handle was broken. We ended up buying an inexpensive fry pan to use. They advertise that the home has everything to prepare lobster but besides something to boil a lobster in there is nothing to use to get the meat out of the shells. Not to mention there was hardly any silverware. Only a couple full size forks to eat with. This was definitely more like camping then staying in a home. We ended up eating out more than planed because there really wasn’t enough kitchen supplies to cook meals with. The plates were metal bowl type plates that obviously can’t be put in the microwave. I have only seen plates like these used for actually camping in a tent. The microwave itself is very old and it took forever to heat things up. We managed to make some things work but it was not an overly comfortable stay. I have rented through this agency for many years and this is the first house that I have had any real complaints about.

Charming cottage in a beautiful setting

After a minor hassle getting the keys to the cottage, our experience was wonderful. The cottage, though basic, was ideal for us. It felt very private and property was magnificent. The location was convenient to everything. We hope to come back.

Great, quiet location

The cottage was the perfect spot to give you the Cape feel right along the marsh. We woke up to bunnies in the yard every morning. We spent most of our time out and about so mainly just slept and relaxed at the cottage at night. The yard was great to set up cornhole and private to boot. Close to the Orleans rotary so great access to downtown Orleans as well as the highway.

The cottage is a perfect size and it is in a perfect location to get to everything we wanted to see/do.
