1.5 hours north of Perth. They’re best known for their unbeatable proximity to the ocean and laid-back, no-frills holiday vibe.


Beachfront location: The chalets sit directly opposite the beach—around 50 meters from the water—and right near one of Lancelin’ s main windsurfing spots.
Simple, self-contained accommodation: They’re not luxury, but practical and comfortable, with everything you need for a casual beach stay.

Although for over $300 for one nights stay i’m very disappointed in how the shower floods the bathroom after 1 minute of being in the shower...... causing the whole floor to be flooded which poses a huge huh risk of slipping and falling over especially if there are children or older adults staying there who may not have the best balance on their feet. For that amount of money i believe i should be able to step out of the shower and not into the saturated floor mat or my feet still be submerged in water

Great Location

Chalet is in a perfect location, short walk to the beach, pubs and town centre, space in chalet is fine for a family, the only thing it could do with more storage but other than that a good place for a holiday

Awesome birthday weekend

The location is amazing & the property was everything I hoped for. I surfed (though it was windy) and we were able to go for a cruisy roller skate on Sunday 😊 The town locals were lovely to us. We’re booking two Apartments for a whole week towards end of year! Thank you ☀️

Bathroom very hard to move in without hitting the walls and personally do not like the big shower heads. Water goes everywhere but where you want it.otherwise great kitchen lounge and beds

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall fantastic location. Bakery next door is incredible. What let the accomodation down is the front doors didn’t slide well, broken handle and overall extremely difficult to open. Shower fixtures were falling off unfortunately. The rooms are not completely private rather a shower screen as a wall/door, not a problem for a family but privacy for couples is rather difficult. Did not affect the great beach and location. Merely concerns for others that may book.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at windsurfer beach chalet was good. However the floors was very dirty and needed desperate clean/mop. Secondly the smell of the chalet when we first entered was very strong and off putting. Once property was opened up with some fresh air it was okay. Thirdly there was quite alot of spiders and webs along ceilings. We actually found a spider in our childs bed. Overall the location and vibe around the area was awesome.

Hi Megan thankyou for your feedback on your recent stay. The floors were throughly cleaned but unfortunately due to age and wear and tear over the years we can only do so much. Living on the coast the smell from the ocean/ seaweed can sometimes be strong and usually goes once the chalet is opened with fresh air. Kind Regards Leah Kennedy Accomodation Manager

We first stayed here 15 years ago. The accommodation has not changed at all. Now very dated and quite shabby. Could really benefit from a makeover!Not very clean, we needed to clean down the bin, and was all the crockery again as dirty. Dirt around taps and walls splattered with stains (blood) from squatted mosquitoes near the beds. Bed linen stained too (although was clearly washed). You pay for what you get! Very cheap and ok for a quick overnight stay, but it really would not take much to do these up and boy do they need it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unbelievable that you could charge $386.00 a night for this place. Opening the door and the smell of old boot hits you hard as you take in the vista of the old laminated table and ex office chairs complete with the stained sofa. Not be outdone, the kitchen completes the illusion of style with the rangehood bolted straight on to the wall without the need for any bother of overheads or disguise of the vent pipe. A property that could comfortably command a $150 dollar a night tariff completely destroyed by additional booking fee $90.00 and cleaning fee of $100.00. The smell was there all night, we were out of there at 8.00 the next morning. There must be better value.
