approx. 1,800 sqft under air, 2 living rooms, 2 bed rooms with walk-in closets, 2 bath rooms (one thereof with shower, one with shower & tub combination), 1 kitchen, 1 laundry room, pool with light, electric filter and heat pump, pooldeck and lanai caged, approx. 1270 sqft, lanai (roofed) approx. 355 sqft

Household is equipped for 4 persons: dishes, sheets & cloths, towels, washer, dryer, iron, stove & oven, micro wave, dish washer, coffee maker, food waste disposer, 11 fans (8 thereof mounted to the ceiling), 2 air conditioners, 4 radios including CC- & CD-player, 2 stereos, 2 TV sets, desktop computer, WLAN internet access, well equipped library, numerous entertaining media like CCs, CDs, DVDs, VCs

Nearest beach is about 15 minutes ride by car, nearest golf course is approx. 20 minutes ride by car.


The home is located in a regular residential zone. Our offer is addressed to travelers, who don't feel comfortable in a typical touristical surrounding.

Lanai & pool deck screened: For your convenience pool area and lanai is screened.

The vacation home handover and return is performed by a knowledgeable representative.

A Place in the Sun

Quiet and very relaxing stay. We enjoyed the privacy. spending time on the lanai, and watching the sunsets. The pool was awesome, and we look forward to our stay next season.

Great Place!

House was nice. Beautiful, quiet, safe location. Realllly enjoyed the view of the canal. Pool was great! Our experience with the owner was favorable. His property managers are 5 star!!!!!!!! Extremely helpful, caring, wonderful people. Any questions or concerns we had they responded to immediately and they are great assets for this owner and the property. We enjoyed it so much, we are planning to return next year.

House was very clean and well maintained. The stay was wonderful.

We loved everything about our stay except the cable t v. It is only basic and we are dye hard Kentucky basketball fans and could not get ESPN.

Love the stay. First time doing this. Told owner that we would like to rent it for two weeks next year. He sent us all the information however, before we even got home to send in the deposit, he rented it out that fast. Sorry to hear that as we really wanted the same place next year. Disappointed in his word and no time to send in deposit.

Good location, the pool was enjoyable, Overall house is nice however very tired. Leather loveseat in TV viewing area is worn out, on the right side as seen from the front. no cushion on leg area had to use pillow from couch to be comfortable. Linens should be replaced. Window treatment on slider in dining area (Very Old). Running TV without cable only Roku is hard to use, couldn't find local news.

Nice but needs a lot of TLC

We loved the setting of the pool area. Mostly spent time there for our 3 day stay. Pool had sorta clean water but lots of stuff at the bottom. I don’t think they ever clean it! You are responsible for taking off and putting on solar cover! Not what we expected. Home was ok nice appliances and good kitchen. No Tv that works for antenna but does have Roku live. The owner has so much stuff sitting around for a rental! Bathroom good and a mixed bunch of towel. Terrible mattresses and bedding below average. I guess you get what you pay for. No TLC in staging and maintaining property. The guy across the street was nice with check in.

WARNING

Deceptive Owner. When we rented the property the pictures showed a private secluded house. The owner updated the pictures and here is a house build up against the home and it appears has been there for 2 years. Then we are notified of Check in fees if we do not arrive in an exact window so we changed our flights. Also owner threaten to bill us for cleaning if we did not leave it exactly like it was when we came so we cleaned the bathroom swept the floors. It was not a pleasant experience for check out. I will say the the property manager & the cleaning lady that showed up were great. The owner was not honest on the listing. the pool is nice but it has a leak so they have to put a water hose in it .

Nice house, but ...

... the pictures are misleading. A couple of months ago a new house was built on the right side of "Joseph", which means all the nice green is gone, the view to the canal is partly blocked with a boat deck and there is basically no privacy when you are in the pool. However, the new neighbours are nice and quiet. We had informed the owner about this and although he was not overly sorry for the unfulfilled expectations he at least promised to delete/exchange the photos. Well, up to now (14 days are over) this has not happened. Besides this major issue, the house inside is in a good condition, the technical equipment works well. Unfortunately the house is quite dark. The garage was not for use, which is in general no big deal but here it was. Evere day there was a lot of stuff from the large trees to the left of the property on the car. The property could use an overall update outside. There are also some gaps between the lanai and the ground which means that not only lizards but also insects can come in. The pool was nice and heated. Some issues with the barbeque and the sunbeds were handled promptly. If you do not care so much about the privacy and the view this house is a good choice.

Stay was ok

First off, we have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and have never had to call/text someone to tell them we were 20 minutes away to get a key. This needs to be updated to a code on the door with no key. We walked through the house, seems fine, outdated but clean. We realized right away that there is no grill at the house, when it states there is one and has a picture of one. “Lisa” said we could buy a table top one, but why should we have to? She said it’s been gone for at least a year, and it hasn’t been updated on website. Daughter sat on one of chairs at the table outside and it was broke, it had been rusted through. Master bath light quit working, and in the other bath there is black mold on the ceiling. We were told by Lisa that the pool had a leak in it and to leave the garden hose running all the time in it. We were in the pool area one of the days and she showed up, and just walked right in without asking and messed with the hose, which wasn’t running. She said the nosey neighbor must of turned it off, when she had wanted it to be running. After this, we were uncomfortable leaving the house because we thought someone would come through the house without asking. ( back sliding door didn’t lock). Worms are all around outside and inside the house, super gross. Needs a pest company to come spray. The house was ok, but we wouldn’t stay there again, and we will be visiting the area alot since my sister moved there.

We really enjoyed our stay and house was well stocked. The house was spacious and the pool was great. Gerhardt was the property manager and we really enjoyed visiting with him and he was so helpful with any questions. We would book this property again.

Home away from home

It was a week stay in a little paradise! Our family love the home. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the house which was important with teenage boys! The large private pool was nothing short of AMAZING! WE'LL definitely stay there again!

Wonderful experience!

A welcoming home in a beautifully quiet setting. Restful and relaxing yet only a short drive to stores, restaurants and parks. The owner, property manager and neighbors were helpful and most friendly. The living space, both inside and out, was especially comfortable. A large covered lanai, a beautiful saltwater pool and a great view! I was so fortunate to be able to be a guest! A wonderful destination home!

Home from Home in Port Charlotte

Spacious and comfortable house for our three week holiday, very well equipped with an extensive video and CD collection available if required. Manager Gerhard dealt efficiently with a few minor problems and was always on call if required. Pleasant and quite neighbourhood with easy access to facilities and attractions. However, as we chose this property for its lack of neighbours (as shown in the listings photographs), we were disappointed to find that a new property had been built immediately next door within the last 12 months. This property also has a boat hoist which significantly reduces the views down the canal. We believe that the photographs on the website urgently need to be updated to reflect the current situation We were also disappointed only to find out at the last moment that we would not be able to use the garage to keep our vehicle cool in the hot Florida sun. The listing should be changed to exclude the garage.

Did not want to leave

Really enjoyed 3 sliding doors out to screened in patio with heated pool. Ate outside everyday Very comfortable house including recliner seats in living room, washer, dryer, ac, fans, lighting and beds. Boris has an unbelievable music selection which we thoughly enjoyed. Private view of canal was nice. Manager of house is across the street and was very accommodating. We biked, golfed,played tennis, kayaked and of course swam in the gulf. Don't forget to go to TT's tiki bar in Punta Gorda for sunsets and music. Overall a fantastic months stay.

Beautiful place

With the exception of the torn lanai for the swimming pool, in which we got bit by some mosquitos, it was an excellent place. Clean and well kept.

Wonderful vacation!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this home and FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! We had everything we needed there. Restaurants are a short drive away. We took a short drive to Venice Beach and enjoyed a day at the pier and catching some rays on the beach! We cannot wait to return to Port Charlotte and spend a week or more at this awesome home!

Very private and relaxing!

We had a very relaxing time, we enjoyed the complete privacy in the backyard. The pool was excellent. We recommend it others and hope to return again in the future!

felt like home

We really recommend this house , from the moment we walked in it felt like home. The heated pool was great and the view of the canal in the back was awesome. Very quiet ,private and relaxing. We would definiately stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

My wife and I spent a week in this charming home. It was equiped with everything we needed. It has a wonderful enclosed heated pool that looks down the canal. The area is very quiet and the neighbors were all very nice. There was a problem with the cable service when we checked in but the owner had it fixed the next day even though it was Sunday. We were very pleased with the property and will consider staying there again

fantastic house! didn't want to leave!

stayed here 6 nights & didn't want to leave! Beautiful house -- beautiful pool. When I saw the pictures on leave, I really didn't believe the house was going to be so nice but it really was! We were very impressed plus the house was extremely clean. We want to go back very soon!
