We are sorry to hear that a guest was disappointed with their stay. We take all guest feedback seriously and are always concerned when a guest reports an issue with a property. That said, many of the conditions described in this review are not consistent with our records, inspections, or the experience reported by previous guests at this home. We have managed this property for numerous years and the issues described—including a cat urine odor, widespread cleanliness concerns, and significant problems with the windows, doors, air conditioning, and exterior—have not been previously reported to us in this manner. We also want to clarify that our properties are inspected and maintained throughout the rental season, and when a guest brings a legitimate maintenance or safety concern to our attention, our local team works to address it as quickly as possible. Had we been made aware of some of the serious safety concerns described in this review during the stay, we would have investigated and addressed them immediately. We understand that every guest may have different expectations and perceptions of a property, particularly with regard to the layout, size of sleeping areas, basement spaces, and outdoor surroundings. However, we strongly disagree with the characterization that we intentionally mislead guests or do not care for the properties we manage.
