Welcome to Moose Mountain Lodge. The 3500 square foot house is the pinnacle of precision engineering, design and workmanship at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The focal point of the home is the kitchen. Featuring a huge sit-up counter top surrounding two sides of the kitchen, open to the dining room and the main living room - this space was made for entertaining family and friends. It features a KitchenAid induction 5 element stovetop - combining the speed and controlled heating of gas but with the flat surface and easy clean-up of an electric stovetop. There are two Bosch convection ovens - perfect for preparing appetizers and main courses at the same time. There is a large side by side refrigerator and pull-out pantry for storing all your food items. Complete with all the cooking utensils and implements you might find in a professional chefs kitchen.

Adjacent to the kitchen is an open dining area with 10 person dining table and excellent views out to the surrounding forest, Dogtooth Mountain range and the Columbia River Valley. Perfect for the family to sit down and have a huge celebration feast after an incredible day of powder skiing. The dining area has two exits to the deck area. The side deck which features a large Weber grill attached to the house propane (no propane tanks to deal with). The main deck runs the entire length of the back of the home and looks out on undisturbed forest and across the Columbia River Valley to the Dogtooth Mountains on the other side.

Adjacent to both the kitchen and dining room is the large living room with a large 8+ person sectional couch, 2 armchairs all arranged around a huge gas fireplace. Perfect for the aperitif or post dinner ice wine.

Also on the main floor is a separate sitting room with large table, chairs and a private deck. The perfect spot to settle the family around a large puzzle or lego set. In addition the main floor has a half bathroom, huge laundry room and large 2 car garage.

Upstairs is the master bedroom with split king bed (can be converted to 2 XL twin beds), ensuite bathroom, large walk-in closet and big flat screen TV.

Downstairs is a huge media room with large gas fireplace, huge sofa and large 65" flat screen TV. Perfect for settling down to watch the kids favorite Disney movie or maybe even a Warren Miller ski film.

Just off the Media room are the homes three bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king bed with huge ensuite bathroom with soaker tub, shower, his and hers vanities and private toilet room. It has a private exit to the under deck area.

The second bedroom features a king bed that can be split into two single beds and direct access to the hot tub as well as a private entrance to the shared bathroom between it and bedroom number 3.
The third bedroom is a kids paradise with two set of bunk beds with single beds below and above, bean bag chairs and TV for watching movies. It is painted in fun, bright murals that will surely delight the child in all of us.
The home has infloor heat throughout the home.
The garage which has baseboard heat and boot/glove heater for up to 12 boots and 12 gloves as well as racks for 10 pairs of skis or snowboards.
And off of the ground floor out of the back of the home is an 8 person hot tub, perfect for those long soaks after a long day of skiing.
And the home has free wifi throughout for guest use.
