Available to let all year round for your holiday is this delightful villa on the golden, glorious South Coast of the beautiful Island of Barbados in Atlantic Shores.

The property provides an ideal holiday or long stay rental and is self catering. Suitable for couples and families alike and within close proximity to the beach (1 mile to Miami Beach) and easy access to the local amenities of Oistins. St Lawrence Gap, with its bars and restaurants is a short distance away. A car is recommended.

The property sleeps six people in three double bedrooms and is an ideal hideaway for a family or a group of friends. The villa is equally suited to a couple wishing to stay in spacious surrounds in an elegant part of the island.

Private garden and home comforts really make this property a home from home, which is why we have welcomed many of our guests back year after year.

The property is ideally situated for those who want to take advantage of an extended stay in Barbados; daily walks taking in the fresh sea air are on your doorstep. Excellent WiFi will enable you to work from home. A private garden and two verandahs allow you flexibility to decide whether you work inside or outside!

Our Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The house was clean and contained everything we needed in a house. Cheryl, the house, the lady that welcomed us, was always at hand if you needed her. There was only one thing missing: transport. However, we hired a car, which gave us a lot of freedom to travel around. We would stay there again.

Home from Home

We had a wonderful time staying at Seabreeze. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet not isolated, and the neighbors are friendly and pleasant. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary equipment, cutlery, and cookware, as well as a variety of drinking glasses and cups. I could write a glowing 10-page review of this property, but the best way to truly appreciate it is to experience it for yourself. So if you're looking for a home-away-from-home experience, don't hesitate to book this property.

Near a great beach

We had a great holiday at this property but unfortunately we where a victim of crime when we had a handbag hooked through a open window even though it had burglar bars. We didnā€™t let it ruin our holiday, it was just a lot of inconvenience trying to renew a passport etc. It is a great property with plenty of space and with a lovely garden. Cheryl the housekeeper is very friendly and helpful as are the neighbours. A hire car is recommended as it is a1/2 hour walk to the nearest beach which is Miami.

Moved out after one week of a 77 day booking

OK for a week maybe, but not the long work-related stay weā€™d booked, and we moved out after the first week. No air conditioning (and the need to keep unscreened doors open for ventilation, despite lots of fans) meant we were eaten alive by sandflies. Had to clean dusty dresser drawers before use. Hot water appeared only after sunny days - donā€™t know if there was immersion backup as we werenā€™t told, and didnā€™t learn about this system until we moved elsewhere. Description suggested it was close to the beach but the nearest beach, and shops, were a 30 minute walk away, with no convenient bus (our rental car was needed for a commute to work). Couldnā€™t get the small car weā€™d hired onto the advertised shady driveway due to the steep drop to the roadside, so when parked, the interior became blistering hot. Our impression, possibly mistaken, was that the property had been unused for a long time, as quite a few things didnā€™t work to begin with. On a positive note, the manager Cheryl was brilliant, sorted out what she could, and helped with local information. We were able to negotiate a partial refund with the owners, but this was still an expensive mis-match that might possibly have been avoidable.

A Lovely Green Oasis on the Shores of the Atlantic

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze Cottage. The property more than met our expectations as outlined by its listing. Set within beautiful gardens, an ideal quiet location in close proximity to the beach and the amenities of Oistins...although I would say car hire is advisable. Cheryl, the housekeeper was ever so friendly and available by phone or in person if we needed her... thank you for everything. I have one small suggestion that perhaps a small Welcome Basket containing some basic shopping items that guests may appreciate on arrival could be made available, especially when coming in on a later flight (such as teabags, milk, juice, bread and butter). All in all we had great time and would return again. Many thanks to you both, Audrey & Suzanne.

My husband and I had the best Christmas in Barbados after a long time. As much as it was a pleasant surprise for his parents and siblings. The home was a home away from home indeed, comfortable spacious and relaxing, I would definitely return to such a location, morning breakfast was fantastic on the lawns a few times. Just simply a beautiful place. Housekeeper Cheryl is pleasant from receiving us until our departure. Definitely would recomment a place like this

I primi 4 giorni abbiamo avuto dei disagi, causa una tubatura rottura in tutto il quartiere, di conseguenza avevano acqua solo di notte per lavoro di riparazione, poi tutto ĆØ andato bene e abbiamo passato una bella vacanza per i restanti 10 giorni.. La casa ĆØ molto grande e in buona posizione, anche se serve un auto se si vuole visitare l'isola. Molto gentile la signora che ci ha consegnato le chiavi e i vicini che ci hanno dato dei consigli molto utili.

Perfect, nice, the announcement is already complete, but after being hosted in Green Garden 9 days exceeded our expectations.... like at home or better, close to everything by car, beaches, village of Oistins, parking, BBQ. No air conditioning required, with fans is enough, quiet area ( except the night frogs, cocks and dogs nearby, but it is in the countryside, you can not say anything) The only thing I would say is that they are needed even if there are mosquito nets and flis flis somewhat more effective as the plug-in auyendators... also for European adapters and to put one more point I would say a more modern television, but I repeat that everything has been great and ideal, I would repeat it without hesitation. An enjoyable stay

We stayed as a family of five - youngest child being 5 - without having hired a car. Most earlier reviews (and property description) are accurate: - There is no air conditioning, the property was therefore warm but cooled by a regular breeze if windows left open. - It is walk able to Enterprise / Miami Beach and to bus stops and our children were able to do this almost daily however it is a 30 minute walk to the beach. - The housekeeper, Cheryl, was very friendly and helpful. We had a slight issue with the gas hob and oven upon arrival but Cheryl had this resolved by the following morning. - We also experienced a combination of loud dogs barking and a rooster during the night. The need to have the windows open at all times exacerbates this issue. Overall, this is a good property, is accurately described and the price reflects the location and that there is no A/C.

We most enjoyed this property, I had the master room which always had a constant breeze and a very large ensuite bathroom. The smallest room got a bit hot as it only had one window a stand up fan would help there as the ceiling fan didn't seem to be enough. Over all the property was very nicely decorated, large, airy, clean, well equipped, had lovely gardens and trees surrounded the fenced in property. The neighbours to the immediate left were quite nice and accommodating. Our only qualm with the property was the distance to the beach and bus stop but we figured it out quickly enough and met local who would drop us to the beach for $10bds - less than the bus fare as there was 4 of us. I read about the noisy dogs in a previous review around the corner and they really were annoying but I complained to the housekeeper and miraculously they stopped. We would stay here again but would rent a car next time. Hope this helps

Returning to Paradise!

First time visitors to Seabreeze Villa. Booked it primarily because we like the Silversands/Atlantic Shores area. From the outset good communication with Suzanne the owner and this was maintained throughout. Cheryl (Housekeeper) met us as arranged at the property and gave us a guided tour of the villa. As we had been travelling for 16 hours, we were all tired so after having a bite to eat we retired for the night. It was only when we arose in the morning that we began to appreciate exactly what we had rented. Seabreeze is a large detached bungalow with a relatively large wrap-around garden area. It definitely is much larger (both internally and externally) than it appears on the photo's on this site. The two large patio areas guarantee that you can enjoy the sun (or shade in my case) from dawn till dusk. There is adequate seating on both patio's and in the garden itself, which is screened from other properties and very private. The piece de resistance however being the Weber BBQ which we used most evenings. Internally Seabreeze is extremely capacious, being both well furnished and well equipped. The large fridge/freezer adequately accommodated all of our food/drink requirements. A large American-style cooker with griddle was also a welcome feature. Multiple appliances and a more than adequate supply of crockery, glassware etc. The lounges and dining area were equally well equipped. Bedrooms are simply but adequately furnished and the bathroom areas are equally functional. There is no air conditioning however with the windows open you don't really need it. An abundance of towels both bathroom and beach was an added bonus. Overall the general standard of cleanliness was excellent. Seabreeze is situated in a relatively quiet residential area, however on occasions we were disturbed by barking dogs in the early hours. This was not a major issue however and after purchasing some silicone earplugs - problem solved. Whilst a car is not essential I would recommend hiring one. There is a bus that passes Seabreeze, however it's so infrequent that even the locals don't know when it runs. Otherwise it's approximately a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. The roads are fine to walk on during the day but best avoided after dark. Taxi's cost around $BDS 20-25 into Oistins. My only suggestion being the the provision of proper sunbeds/recliners. All in all a fabulous holiday in a lovely well-appointed villa. Would we return? Can't wait! Thanks Suzanne!

Lovely location, fantastic accommodation and very well equipped.

We had an amazing holiday at Atlantic shores. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It had everything we wanted and more. Very clean and tidy. We did have a problem with noisy dogs for a couple of nights but it was quickly resolved by the owners and the house keeper.. I would highly recommend staying here and we would certainly book again. I enjoyed staying in this home. It was located close to the beach and with friendly neighbors.

This home had 3 bedrooms which accommodated my brother, sister and I. There was also a spare bed which I did not have to use, but was great in case of an unexpected sleepover. Lorna was available for all our needs and came promptly or called to intervene on our few minor issues. This place is roomy and having a washing machine available was great, especially since we frequent Miami beach in Oistins almost every day and had laundry. I also like the fact that there were multiple beach towels available for our use, a BBQ grill and a porch in the back, where we relaxed and eat lunch. Although there was no AC available, it was not needed because the breeze from the sea comes in all day. The TV/game room also made this home a bit bigger than most. Most of the windows have screens so we weren't bothered by mosquitoes. Overall a nice place to stay at a very reasonable rate. We hope to return sometime soon

Beautiful Home

My wife and I have spent a wonderful month here and have enjoyed every minute. Suzanne and Cheryl have both been so helpful if we needed information or anything for that matter. This home is so spacious and airy, catching most of the island breezes. I think our favourite parts are the front and rear covered porches, being on the east and west sides, we always had the choice of sun or shade. Ceiling fans are everywhere and provided good airflow during those rare ā€œno breezeā€ days. We made full use of the Weber charcoal grill, cooking up delicious meals, which doubles up by keeping inside cooler. Itā€™s a good idea to have a car available, but not a necessity, as itā€™s only about 2 km to Miami Beach (best on the island), and about 3 km to Oistins. We hope to come back soon.

A clean spacious villa on the outskirts of Enterprise

We were welcomed by Susan to a clean spacious villa. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of space for teenagers to find a corner to hang out in. Easy to get to Miami Beach, Oistins and main highway. One small point, map on homeaway web site is not accurate and address is 153 Seabreeze Drive. Type this into google map and you will find it... we spent two hours driving around before we spotted Susan waving at us widely from the side of the road. Great location but.......

We had a lovely holiday in Barbados, our second visit, but were disappointed with the condition of the 'villa' inside. It is not as depicted in the pictures on the website as they were taken over 8 years ago and wear and tear in the intervening period has taken its' toll. Our initial impressions was that some of the furnishings were quite shabby and in places dirty, and rust patches on the fridge and cooker had been daubed over with white paint. There was also a heavy accumulation of dust and grease on the ornaments and fire extinguisher above the cooker, and some of the pillows in the second bedroom displayed signs of mould. The tv didn't work at all to start with, then when it was rectified the tree next door interfered with the signal but this was dealt with after a few days when a new ariel was fixed in a different position. The hot tap in the second shower would not turn off, which resulted in my wife scalding her arm, but this was also sorted out before the end of our two-week stay. The garden is also fairly heavily overgrown and not easy to access to sit in and relax. In short, the property needs some attention and updating. We were in contact with Suzanne about these issues and in fairness she did her best through her local representative Cheryl, to overcome them. She also offered us a refund for the remaining days of our holiday if we wished to find and move to other accommodation, but by then we had settled in and didnā€™t want the hassle. On the positive side the kitchen is very well equipped and the structure of the house is very well maintained. It is only a few minutes to two excellent beaches and a few more minutes to Oistins with its shops, beach, fish market and the famous Fish Fry on Friday nights. Bridgetown, the capital, is a 20 minute drive, St Lawrence Gap with its restaurants and night life about 15 minutes, and the whole island can be driven round in about 3 hours. It was also very pleasant to sit on the back verandah in the early evening and enjoy the breeze and a cold drink. Cheryl, who looks after the property and prepares it for guests, and her brother Terry, looked after us very well and Cheryl especially was very attentive. A car is essential to explore the island at leisure and there are many quiet and almost empty beaches to be found away from the busy south and west coasts. The beaches on the east side of the island are pounded by heavier seas but Bath and Foul Bay are worth visits
