This half-timbered sheepfold, completely rebuilt in 2008 with the support of the Parc Naturel Régional des Landes de Gascogne, will seduce you with its authenticity and calm. On a large airial (park), surrounded by oaks and pines with large unfenced spaces, the gîte has 2 bedrooms, a living room-kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet and a large covered terrace with garden furniture.

Set in beautiful surroundings, the gîte is built with traditional materials, including oak and pine beams, half-timbering with a mixture of lime and wood shavings, and old tiles.

The property also houses a recently-opened chambre d'hôtes and the family's Gironde stone house.

Situated 100 meters from a road with little traffic, it is isolated from it by the oak and pine forest and will provide you with peace and quiet.

Situated 54 km from the Atlantic Ocean, you can enjoy walks in the forest, along the banks of the Leyre river, visits to châteaux, nearby vineyards (Sauternes, Bordeaux) and the Ecomusée de Marquèze.

The neighboring village of Sore, 5km away, has a heated swimming pool, and the Hostens lake, with its activities and pedal boats, is around 15km away. Canoeing down the Leyre is also a must.
