We had a great stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was readily available. The host was responsive and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

Great secluded get-a-way

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the apartment. Great beach access, very quiet area for those looking to relax and have a peaceful time away from home.

Beautiful property with great beach to use. It was also nice to have kayaks for our use. The inside was nicely decorated and had a well stocked kitchen.

Secluded spot, perfect for a restful get-a-way!

We had an amazing time on the UP and staying at the apartment. Great beach access in a very quiet surrounding. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place. Very clean and beautiful. View and access to Lake Huron was amazing. The handicap accommodations were amazing Would love to return in the future

Our first time at the UP of Michigan. Loved the property location, peaceful and quiet. The building itself was beautiful as well. We will be back!

Quiet Escape with Amazing Views

Tim and Eileen have a beautiful place and have all the amenities needed for a great get away. The location is quiet and offers endless views of Lake Huron. Paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes are provided. We enjoyed the solitude, nature preserve walks, and exploring the local towns. Only an hour to ferries for Mackinac Island. Tim was a great communicator and provided helpful recommendations. Great stay!!

Great stay

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. We love the peaceful surroundings. We had a snow storm while we there and the owner sent someone out to plow the driveway to make sure we were able to get out. The owners are great to work with. I love the additions they have made through the last year. You won't regret staying here!

Great location on Lake Huron. Close to ferry to Drummond Island. St Ignas, Sault Ste Marie reasonable drive for day trip. Site is always in excellent condition. Kayaking, swimming, walking along the beach and simply sitting on the deck to relax listening to the sound of waves make this place a welcome respite from the business of life. Watching lakers up bound and down bound also enjoyable.

Awesome

We were in town to visit our mother that is very sick. This place was a peaceful beginning and end to our day. Everything is in tip top shape and clean. Bed sleeps great also. The access to the lake is convenient. I will be staying again!

Just Right with Perfect View

Everything about this VRBO met my needs for a quiet week away perfectly. The property’s view is gorgeous, and the deck allowed me to spend uninterrupted hours reading while relaxing in the wonderful breeze that is always blowing off the lake even when the day is hot. (I highly recommend between 1pm and 7pm!) Everything inside the house was great, well-furnished and clean. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Good time in Detour

Home was clean and nicely updated kitchen area everything needed was provided. Lots to do if you kayak, canoe etc The water was delightful and views lovely. We stayed in B which didn't have the access to the long deck that leads to the sand. We had 2 fire pits available We used one closest to house. The queen bed in the room was not comfortable sadly but the flip out blow up mattress seemed to be good. We enjoyed ourselves and would visit again but maybe in side A. Oh and no air conditioning was fine until humidity came in

Wonderful Stay with Great Views

We had a wonderful stay here! My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon in late fall and saw some great fall colors. The beach views are beautiful and there's a great view of the sunrise each morning. The townhome is clean and had everything we needed to prepare a few meals and there's also a fire pit and firewood on site that we used. The location is a bit far from larger tourist attractions, but great if you are looking for a few days away in a quiet area. There are a lot of near by hiking trails and nature preserves and a few good restaurants in the nearby town. We definitely recommend and would stay again!

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay the place was nice. Had everything you needed to cook, beach towels, kayaks and cut firewood. I would have like to use the swings but did not want to walk through over growth to get to them. With that said we still enjoyed our stay.
