A little bit of paradise!



The Space:

Pompano Paradise is a 3rd row beach property with dazzling views of the Gulf of Mexico. The home is located in the very center of Crystal Beach, right off of Crystal Beach Road, close to restaurants and night life. With almost a complete 180 degree view of the beach from the deck, you can enjoy the morning sunrise over the water, while having your coffee! When you're ready to hit the sand, you are just moments away on foot or by vehicle.



The comfortable living area opens to a dining table and kitchen. You'll find everything you'll need to prepare your favorite meals or just a quick snack, including a toaster and a regular drip coffee pot. Pompano Paradise has the conveniences of home, including high speed internet, plus washer and dryer.



This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house can accommodate 10. The primary bedroom has a king bed. The other two bedrooms each have a queen bed with an additional twin trundle.



On the ground level, there is a roomy area to use the charcoal grill and picnic table, and enjoy the shade with family and friends! The outdoor shower is a must for rinsing off the sand after making memories on the beach!



Small dogs (under 35 pounds ) allowed with pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Neglected property with so much potential

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the same beach cabin in 2016 and it was a great experience. Immaculate, great condition, and well stocked with kitchen essentials. On our last visit, we enjoyed opening the windows and letting the sea breeze in. We didn't do that due to multiple torn screens on the front windows. Cleanliness: Our first evening there, we realized we had a multitude of unwelcomed visitors in the kitchen- roaches. Not wood roaches but German roaches. I contacted Swede's the next morning and they promptly got the pest control gentleman out to handle the problem. There were cobwebs under the sofas. No cleaning supplies were available. Kitchen Supplies: The pots and pans were in sad shape. Lack of serving spoons. There was no can opener. No ice trays. On the positive side: Sitting on the deck was great. Wonderful view of the sunrise. Location is close to the beach, so going for walks was great. I hope the owners put some love back into this property. It can be a very beautiful house!

Great house with a great view

This house was perfect for us (three couples). The view of the beach from the deck was great - very short walk to put your feet in the sand. Rooms weren't overcrowded with stuff and plenty places to sit and visit or eat around the table. A+++++ and... the price was great too.

Jeep Weekend

We have been doing Jeep Weekend for 7 years in a row now. This was the first time we experienced any issues. People were driving through the yard, walking under the house, leaving trash every where. Will not return next year

certain amenities missing

Reviewer Comments: we were comfortable. however the lamp in the second bedroom light was broke. there was no dishwater soap. no soap for washing machine. the front door was hard to keep closed. the pots and pans were dirty and no good size bowel to mix things. we had agood stay. just had to go to store for soap to bathe, was dishes, etc. we left the house cleaner than it was. outside we had fun and we enjoyed our self . if your not going to supplies these items, you need to say so in the info of the beach house. it's a beautiful beach house.

Frustrating

The house itself was okay. Although the some of the doors would stick and not close properly. Especially the door in the main bathroom. I get it, the they are trying to sell the property, but it should still be maintained. Everything inside the house was on the shabby side. The bedding was old, stained, ripped in places. The control panel on the range was loose and very difficult to use. The cookware was atrocious. We had to scrub everything to be able to use, and they were all tiny. So if you plan on cooking for more that two people, you'd better bring your own pots and pans. There wasn't even a bowl to put a salad in. We had to use two pans to make eggs for five people, because they were tiny. The non stick pans were unusable because they were peeling. There was a broom, but no dust pan, so couldn't clean up properly. No hand soap or dish soap, so you have to bring your own. No detergent for the dishwasher or washer either. Bring your own TP and paper towels also. We were not fans of having to go to the office to check in and check out. We've rented many homes like this through all the different services besides VRBO, and this is the first time we have had to go somewhere else to get the key and check in and out. Definitely don't want to do that again. Overall, I would avoid renting a home from this property management group. The only plus was the earlier check in and later check out time, but all the other draw backs made it not worth it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was overall great for our group. The staff answered all my questions and concerns. The top deck had a few rotten boards and a loose handrail that made me a little nervous and there were no lights on the top Deck but the inside was great. The beds were comfy and the house was clean. We did have to buy our own cleaning supplies and toiletries because we opted out of the linen package but we already expected that. The only missing was a can opener. We enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely return.

Also, no trash bags or cleaning supplies in the house prevents good tenants from doing the bare minimum of cleaning.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I left a list with Swedes. Burned pot hidden in back. Skillet had eggs cooked on that was not cleaned. There was no bowl (except cereal size). Had to mix a cake in a pot. No slotted spoon. Kitchen was not adequately stocked. Drawer beside dishwasher fell apart when it was opened. Has 2 trundle beds under queen beds but there is not enough room to pull out. Of course the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. The front door knob was about to come off. Faucet in master bath leaked. Most of these complaints could be fixed if someone would go inspect the cabin. They shouldn’t advertise that it sleeps 10 if they can’t comfortably. The people that had beds were ok, but the other ones were miserable. The good points: great view, nice porch with nice chairs, air worked good. Why rent a cabin in this shape? Do the owners know their cabin is in this shape?

Beach Vacay !!

Property was great. Everything you needed. Although not on the beach (second row in) had a decent view but only a few minutes walk. We drove directly on the beach, easier with all our stuff. Plenty of food options if you want to go out. We did both, dinner out first night and used the grill provided the second. Wii definitely go back.

Our weekend stay

Very nice view to the beach, the garage could be cleaned out or organized. The bedding wasn't clean by the guest before us and we had to clean it before we went to bed and before we left. The place over all was nice! I would stay there again!

Great family and friends time

The house was clean and prepared for our stay. The deck was great for our small pets to lounge in the Sun. Kitchen was well equipped and appliances were great. Beds were comfortable and couches positioned perfectly for family time. Fantastic dining room space and seating for everyone. Thanks for the vacation space.

We truly enjoyed our stay except for the neighbor across the street, he was very unpleasant and nosey. It was prom weekend for multiple schools and wasn't bad at all. We will be back soon. Very nice home and the location was great. Good commute to and from the beach.
