A true gem of a property

This house sits on such a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Our hosts were very friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. When the heater didn't work, he came out personally, got it running again, and made sure it would work properly for the rest of our stay.

Gracious and generous hosts!

We spent a long weekend visiting with old friends and needed a quiet place with space for our new puppy. This house was ideal! Joe and Carol could not have been more helpful or caring! Their constant communication allowed us to have a minor problem fully resolved on the same day! Beautiful views and fabulous hosts! Just what we needed!

Wonderful time away

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Clean, comfortable, thoughtfully equipped with everything. The information book is very useful. It even contains menus from several restaurants! The view is amazing!To watch the sunrises over the Illinois River made getting up early worth it!šŸ˜Š We will definitely return.

Great house!

We had a great time! House was clean and easy to find. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The woods behind the those was great to explore for my kids! The sunrise/sunset views off front porch were beautiful as well! Quiet area. Highly recommend! If we are in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location/Beautiful Views

We stayed here this past weekend for my daughter's softball tournament. The location was perfect! We had great restaurants within a 5 minute drive and the softball complex was an easy 15-20 minute drive. It was nice to wake up and have coffee on the front deck overlooking the river. If we're playing in town again this season, we'll definitely be checking to see if this location is available!

Fine View in Peoria

We stayed over Thanksgiving with local family. The house gave us out-of-towners a great respite, though local enough to join in when we were ready. The house is fine and comfy. The only challenge is the driveway. Once mastered, it was kind of fun!
