Perfect for FILM industry people as FOX studios are only a 30 min. walk/10 min. cycle thru Centennial Park.
Sustainably designed with CLT timber to stay cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. North facing aspect with ceiling fans in both main living rooms + an evaporative cooler + ample glass windows: it is airy, light, cool + well ventilated. Travel cot and all linen provided on request. With its own entrance off a quiet laneway, the space is private and has an indoor/outdoor space within the building. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you'll need.
You will love your stay here, it will be peaceful, comfortable and close to all that Sydney has to offer. for stays over 1 week cleaning there will be an additional cleaning fee of $50. For stays of 3 weeks or longer, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $100.
Parking is good and fairly easy to find in the area. I have parking tokens for all day parking that I can give you for $7./day. Or there are free all-day parks on the road around the park, 5 minutes walk away. Also free parking from 6pm - 8am in the all the other streets directly around the area with free 2 hour parks in the day. with many 2 hour spots.
The single bed and travel cot can both be made up on request and for a $50 charge for each.
SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES: - Our home is electrified with a solar-powered battery and panels, so (as long as tenants do not leave heaters etc on over-night or when they are out), it is 100% sustainably solar-powered.
All provided amenities and cleaning products used are environmentally responsible, bio-degradable, and free from harsh chemicals.
The passive design of the building, utilises: building orientation, high-performance insulation, glazing, and airtightness to maintain comfortable temperatures naturally. The house is built with CLT (cross-laminated timber) which is considered a leading sustainable building material because it acts as a carbon sink, significantly reduces embodied carbon compared to concrete and steel, and is manufactured from renewable resources. Architecturally, CLT allows for high-performance, prefabricated designs that improve construction speed, reduce waste, and provide excellent thermal insulation.
There is an additional cleaning fee of $50. on stays of 3 nights or longer.
Please DON'T SLEEP ON THE DAYBED UNLESS YOU HAVE ARRANGED THIS WITH ME PRIOR TO STAYING. A $50. fee applies if guests sleep on it without notice.
Please don't leave heaters, fans or lights on when you are out or when you leave the property.

Wonderful stay
The place is as advertised and very unique. We walked everywhere and rarely needed to use our car to get to places we wanted to go. The owner was responsive and helpful when we needed anything. I would definitely recommend to others although any party larger than 2 would find the accommodations a bit tight, I think.

Perfect little spot
My twin teenage sons and I wanted a spot close ish to Bondi beach but still peaceful and quiet. This property was perfect—ten minute walk to shopping/food/public transit and right around the corner from a huge public park. The space is small but packed with architectural details and design. We loved it!

Quiet, clean and convenient
Great location and quiet. Stayed 7 days and could always get a free park close by. Well maintained and clean. Very thoughtfully provisioned with kitchen, bathroom and laundry items. Somehow thought it could be made more comfortable.

Zen retreat in leafy location
Although it was a short stay, I was impressed with this architectural gem. The place is cozy and the wooden interiors feels very warm and inviting. Love the art work. The location is close to all the beaches and near Paddington and Centenial Park. I will definitely come back when I need to stay in Sydney

A cute stay in a perfect location
Right on the edge of the Queens Park, great for the morning jog. Quiet location and close to Bondi Junction.
Great to have more space than just a hotel room. Shame there’s no outdoor space with the property but otherwise it’s perfect.

Queens Park accommodation
Check-in was easy, and the location of the unit was very convenient and pleasant. Issues: the shower was enclosed by a curtain and was next to the toilet, making the bathroom cramped. Secondly, the unit has steep metal stairs to the lounge/ kitchen area. This could be an issue for less able guests. Thirdly, there was no TV- not a big problem but a bit surprising.

Six week stay
Modern architecturally design granny flat in Queen's Park. It's not your average old fashioned granny flat, but rather a smart use of space and a good number of inclusions.
Penny was a pleasant host. Helpful when needed (making her main washing line available), and left us alone otherwise. Private entrance down a laneway.
Location is 10-15 minutes from Bondi Junction. There is also a bus to Bondi Junction 2 minutes away. It;s close enough to be connected but not in the centre of everything.
Good facilities. Upstairs is a kitchenette with two induction cooktops and a full oven, no dishwahser. Good sized pantry with spices and peanut butter/honey etc. Small bar fridge.
Kitchenette is part of open plan dining/living area with small couch.
Tv is there with no terrestrial TV, but wifi connected streaming through Google TV.
The downstairs has the bedroom and separate bathroom. Bathroom is a creative use of space but some may find it a little small. The unit also has a European brandcombined washer/dryer that worked very well. Reasonable storage/hanging space available.
Fans and heaters on both the floors.
The space worked well for 1 person, but the separate upstairs area gave a good sense of space and separation that meant it would also work well for 2 people.

I love living in this area as it is close to all that Sydney has to offer whilst being quiet and tranquil.
Situated in Queens Park it is between 2 of Sydney's largest parks: Centennial Park and Queens Park, (which are both only 2 minutes walk away), and some of the best beaches in Sydney.
Bronte Beach is our nearest beach with a wonderful ocean swimming pool, being a 30 minute walk or an 8 minute drive.
We are also a 10 minute walk to Eastgate shopping centre or a further 5 minute walk to the larger Westfield shopping centre.
Plus a 10 minute walk will get you to a bus or train that takes you into the city centre in 10-15 minutes!
There are many good cafes around the Queens Park neighbourhood both in the parks, by the beaches and in the 'hood.
