We loved the house and the outdoor space. We were 10 friends gathering together, all over 70. The house was perfect. We enjoyed the great room and spent a lot of time hanging out at the table when we weren't exploring the scenery. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our only comment was how low the toilets were but that's because we are older. We loved our time there and made wonderful memories. We enjoyed watching the jack rabbit as well.

We loved staying here! It was so spacious and it had everything we needed. The house was clean and very well stocked with essentials. The host was responsive and friendly. The landscaping was beautiful, and it was very quiet and peaceful at the property. We really enjoyed the amazing views and loved watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning. The proximity to Mesa Verde was so nice - only a few minutes away! Would definitely spend more time here given the chance - highly recommend!!!

Great location for Mesa Verde

Beautiful house, great location. Peaceful and quiet and the views were incredible. The house worked perfectly for 9 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Plenty of room for all of us to use. Was able to get to Mesa Verde in 10-15 minutes with no problem. We chose to drive into Cortez for dinner and it was easily accessible. Jen was very responsive and provide great assistance even helping us keep an eye on the fires (luckily none were nearby). Upon checking out, it was simple to get to Durango to catch the train.

Great Stay!

Everything from the bedding to the huge variety of games stocked in the cupboards was wonderful. Host was responsive and helpful and the location was perfect for our visit to Mesa Verde National Park.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mancos Hideaway. We were so close to Mesa Verde which is what brought us to the area. The house is HUGE so we had plenty of room to spread out with 7 adults. We also enjoyed grilling and stargazing, and just taking in the wonderful views all around the property. We would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home and amazing location. I would definitely recommend to use this lovely home as a base for your travels in the four corners area. Hists were warm ans welcoming.

Great stay!

This is probably the nicest property we have ever stayed at. Everything was so comfortable, especially the beds. There were nice notes everywhere giving you helpful info about the house etc. Highly recommend!

It was amazing. Everything we could have hoped for! Plenty of space for all of us! House was in perfect condition. Exceptional out space. Views were amazing. Plan to stay there again next summer !

Great lay-out!!!

We will definitely stay again. Home has a great layout, bed and bath locations are great! Made our stay very comfortable. This home has amazing views and it's nicely appointed. The host was pleasant and very responsive!!! You won't be disappointed, great location easy to get around to all the local attractions.

One of the best family trips!

We had an amazing stay in Mancos! The house was perfect for our two families. Sitting out on the deck in the morning and the evenings was such a treat. The location was great being right outside the park. Not only did we enjoy MesaVerde tours, but we also did some evening hiking to watch the sunset on top of a mesa. There are great mountain biking trails near by that are a lot of fun too. Over all an amazing trip!!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The house was very spacious and worked well for the 12 of us, as well as a good stocked kitchen. The kids loved being outside and exploring. Great views and a short drive to Mesa Verde. Unfortunately, we were visiting at the beginning of the Government shutdown so parts of the various parks we visited were closed. We were still able to see a lot and the views did not disappoint! Absolutely loved riding the steam train from Durango to Silverton!

Wildlife Viewing Amazing

This home and property are gorgeous. We were able to see 4th of July fireworks from the deck, wild birds, deer and small animals. It was heaven on Earth for us. Jen was lovely and very responsive to any questions or needs. We would definitely return.

Perfect Family Retreat

If you are looking for the perfect location for your family adventure...look no further. This beautiful home is centrally located to so many beautiful places such as, mesa verde, four corners, arches national park, and Durango. This home became our retreat for our family as we visited numerous parks. We all loved the gorgeous views and there was plenty of space for my whole family of five. Moreover, our family had so many laughs over the pop the pig game. We cant thank you enough for sharing your wonderful home with our family!
